Lennar's workmanship is surprisingly sub par. This is truly a production home and that is what you get. There are such minor design features they missed that would move their home from below average to top notch but unfortunately, Lennar's home design team must be novices at best to have missed such minor things in their floor plans, at least in the many plans we reviewed. The community was the selling point for sure - NOT the Lennar home. We wanted to be in the community and had very limited home design choices with Lennar within our budget. If it wasn't for that, we would never have chosen Lennar. I wish I had a home designers ear to give them a few, low cost, home design pointers that I'm certain would definitely increase their home sales by a lot. Additionally, none of the "walk through" items were addressed as was supposed to be the case during that one week before closing. Also, the response time to issues raised . The masterbath tile design was not at all what was indicated it would be and I'm still dealing wit that. Overall, not a good experience at al. MI Homes and Mattamy have MUCH. better workmanship. Unfortunately, they did not build in the community we were looking at. But, highly recommend them over Lennar unless you are looking at their 55+ community homes, which seem to be of better workmanship and quality. I gave it 3 stars in the "value for the price" only because of current price trends and in the location we bought (Mirada). I have a villa on Gable Dig loop. The single car garage could have been bigger. Drive way could have been bigger. Few guest parking spot could have been done for villa owner.its a 55+ community. No one would like to go to clubhouse to park the car for guest in Florida’s hot weather. Still builder can help building few guest parking spots on every street. These looks small issues but it’s not for 55+ people.

I hope that communication will be better than that for my next purchase

Thing was not done on time and still not done after closing , finance team was not good, and communication was horrible.

On the day of closing I went to home to do another inspection and items like the cabinets that had scratches were not fixed. Was told that it will be done when I come back from closing. Never happened and it’s now been 2 months and I still haven’t gotten it fixed. So don’t sign until the items they need to fix is fix because then u will end up having to do the run around

Closing was a nightmare , got ripped off , house is not built for storms

The community is a good-looking community BUT since we got here, there are TOO MANY issues with the CDC not properly following up with things to do despite there is a major budget. So where does this budget money go? Also, they cancel meetings most of the time and the homeowner have little to say because they do not want to listen during the meetings. Also, gates are not working, sometimes the water fountain stop working, palms are all over the entrance, flowers have not been replaced nor the mulch and the grass looks pretty bad in many houses. After buying the house, there are so many problems, and it takes a while for the construction team to get it repair. It seems that similar issues are happening in many other communities built by Lennar. We hope that when Lennar leaves the community, FIX all the problems OR leave the money for the new HOA so we can have a beautiful community with HAPPY residents. Also, we hope that Lennar provides to the new HOA a way to acquire the clubhouse since there are rumors that the club might be sold to a third party. Our home buying experience was stressful as we live out of state but the Lennar sales representative Ali made it more enjoyable Construction manager Robbie is certainly a valued employee of Lennar Very knowledgeable, courteous and helpful

They built what they said they were going to build. We had a pre-dry wall inspection completed and Lennar got high marks on that. The have a pre-close inspection and while there were several (minor) and mostly cosmetic items to fix, they were very responsive in getting these items fixed before we closed, a week or so later. I give them a B+ / A- overall.

Tom in the office was great. Sharmin in customer care was excellent. John and Travis, both construction managers, could use some training on repairs and communication with homeowners.

Ally did a great job showing us the exact location we were looking for. Small issue that have come up were taken care of right away. Really enjoy the amenities and the friendly people who we live around. Closing was not a positive experience because they closed on so many homes on the day assigned to us.

Lennar has been pushing for closing homes before they are completed. Quality controls are suboptimal. I will list issues that we encountered after closing. We were not provided keys to the front door for almost 4-weeks after closing. Door locks had to be replaced on Patio doors because the provided keys did not work on them. The Mater bathroom toilet, sinks and showers were blocked and needed plumbing work. The HVAC need work because Freon was low and the vents were not properly opened. The crown moulding had gaps that needed fixing. Multiple Cabinets had chips that needed replacement. Doors and walls has areas that needed coats of paint. Stucco missing in areas of patio walls, Baffles on Roof Vents missing.Outdoor light was crooked and needed straightening. Landscaping - outside tree is bending, and Neither Lennar or the HOA will take responsibility to fix the problem. Quality of appliances and materials used is poor. Each item requires tickets and takes time and waiting to get fixed. We are not the only ones who have had problems on our street. Lennar has fixed some of these issues under warranty but it requires persistent and perseverance. ... More

Lied about the community being quiet . Anything but considering legal action. Quality of appliances and cabinets are trash .

Too many issues with original walk through not addressed 60 days later

Customer service personnel were courteous. No towel rack or toilet paper holder ln bathrooms. No trees in backyard. These should be standard. Homes should have a back patio. Not worth the money. Very disappointed with Lennar. Lots of trouble calls to fix issues in the first month.

Buying a new home is stressful and that is not because of Lennar, it's the process. Having said that, everyone I dealt with was professional and patient. Both walk-throughs went well and issues were addressed promptly.

Very helpful and explanations of questions when asked

We are two months in from when we closed and I still haven’t even received a call back from our loan officer with answers to questions I had from when we moved on! I can say the only decent experience and people were Ana and Sharon who also tried to help. Project managers were rude and things did not get done when they said they would, the financing department never returned calls and when they did they were dismissive and made you feel like you were a bother. There was no follow up or follow through, to the point I almost lost my home insurance because they had not received the payment made at closing and even that took a long time of me being the one coordinating things and following up because Lennar apparently couldn’t be bothered. I would never recommend this company and I will make sure if I ever have to buy a property it will not be with Lennar. ... More

Do not buy any homes from Lennar. You will retreat . Horrible

I’m a new home owner, Lennar gave us the best deal hands down, houses look amazing and comes with appliances that come with a year of warranty. From my experience all the walk through guys from Lennar are professional and care about your home needs.

Not professional , not informed correctly , bad communication . I’ve dealt with builders in the past and did not experience what I have experienced with Lennar . Their finance team is no good
