Great experience with Lennar in Florida!

The quality of our home is excellent. We are longtime florida residents and have lived in several homes built by us and by far Lennar pays close attention to details and the amount of extras given to the homeowner far surpasses any builder we have worked with...

We are still learning important rules and regulations that we were not told when looking to buy. Payments made to four different entities. Discovered poor workmanship on several areas

I absolutely love my home but there is absolutely no communication. Everyone was so friendly until we signed the closing papers. We were told from EVERYONE if you need anything even after closing reach out and we will take care of you. The project manager John is horrible. Extremely rude and acts bothered if you ask him something. Called him about a roof problem on our home that was a month old and was told “Well it passed inspection so whatever”. Then asked him about some breakers as they are not labeled well in the electric panel and he said he doesn’t know to call customer care. Then fast forward to almost two months after closing and we came home to our door mat thrown in the lawn along with a decorative sign we had by the door which was being rained on and our walkway was half painted one color and also painted another color. Our neighbors was the same and their solar lights crushed both our mulch was blown into the yard. Paint supplies left all over our yard and a water hose and electric cord plugged into the side of our house. We were not aware of any work to be done on our home and came home to this mess. Called multiple people and were pushed all over the place because no one wants to bother with you including the care team who says they will call back and we have never received a call back any of the times we have called. Across the street they are finishing townhomes and there is a lot of debris all over. We would be patient with construction debris but this is trash (soda bottles, wrappers, water bottles covering the grounds). The wind blows and this goes in our yard daily. The response from the project manager was they can’t help Mother Nature which we understand but this is trash that could have been placed in a trash can instead of the ground. Very unprofessional employees. I would not recommend. Now if there was an existing Lennar home and you didn’t have to deal with Lennar at all I would go for it but steer clear of this company and the unprofessional, unreliable, zero communicative staff that represents them. ... The buying process was ver smooth. Excellent builder and would recommend to those planning to buy a home. Very satisfied with my home.

2days after I moved into my brand new home it was flooded due to the plumbing. I have not had access to my downstairs in a month…this has been an awful experience!

Jeff and Yumiko were absolutely amazing. Our remote closing was a breeze. Marie lacked communication with us during underwriting and came off as rude in multiple emails with how things were worded. We were excited to take a photo with the congratulations sign on the garage but it was taken down before we got half way done with our final walkthrough. While other houses that sold after ours have had the sign up for multiple days. If we were to buy another home through Lennar we would gladly do so again.

Not a great experience.. no attention to details.. promise they would fix things when we went to closing on the way back nothing was done.. we owned a west bay home and a GL home and this was the worst ..

Etta was amazing helped us get pre-approved so quick and was there sending pic of the process the best.

I have a list of things that never got completed yet. Said will be right back that was four months ago. I could go on and on and on. Will never ever buy another Lennar home and will stop anyone who I hear say that they're looking at Lennar.

I would like potential home buyers to know that the team at Lennar is awesome to work with. The loan officers are friendly and courteous. The are more than willing to answer any questions you may have as well taking care of all documentation needed to process your loan in a timely manner, They respond to emails and phone calls promptly. The construction manager was also great to work with providing updated information on a regular basis. We were very pleased with the quality of the way our home was built. Purchase this model only for because of the layout and having my mom close. Excellent floor plan. Quality of work and materials used could be better. Compromise only for floorplan layout and lot size.

Very hard a times to get responses to our questions. Being in central time zone we would get information so late in day we couldn’t get things sorted out before people were gone. Not knowing whom to contact at times it seemed like we were directed to a lot of different people that we hadn’t really talked to. Easier to deal with 1-2 individuals for us.

DO NOT buy from LENNAR! They are the MOST unreliable, RACIST and worst people to work with. We are first time home buyers and they made the process extremely difficult for us to purchase a home. We also felt that some of the people involved in our home buying process were very prejudiced and racist and they contributed to the difficulties that we experienced throughout the process. They did EVERYTHING they could to try to ensure that we didn’t get a home. Their loan officers are THE WORST! Please save yourself the heartache. Their homes are cheap and you end up having to take care of things that should’ve been taken care of during the walk-through and after. ... More

I'm EXTREMELY disappointed in the quality of materials and labor . I bought this Townhome because' Lennar' was the builder. Ryan Homes has comparable prices and locations but I chose this because Lennar had such a good name in the building industry. My other home here in FL was not a Lennar but my dad's home, built 2003, is Lennar and the quality of his home is excellent, I would NOT recommend Lennar to anyone these days. They do not build anything. They sub it all out and the contractors get paid for the job, not the quality of the work. -- Granite countertop seems are very obvious. -- Cheapest CERAMIC tile you can buy .. but when I asked b4 i bought, they weren't sure if it was porcelain or not. -- Shower rod fell during first shower. -- Kitchen corner cabinets have no top so grease and dirt fall to the base of it .. they should have put no bottom then, at least it would be able to be cleaned.. etc, etc. Just cheap materials used , lazy contractors, every corner cut to save a dollar ... ... The exterior finish is good.The interior finishing was poorly. Items like paint, trim, interior door finish, flooring, concrete work and a host of other smaller items as a builder I didn't appreciate having had to take care of myself.

Jeremy was great to work with. He always responded quickly to my text and emails. Christie was very helpful and did her best to take care of our concerns.

House construction and layout are perfect, the experience with Lennar answering questions or concerns is beyond expectations. Great service! The seller walked us through all the steps.

As a first time homebuyer, my experience with staff was very satisfying. I feel I received a great value and would recommend it to anyone to shop with Lenar homebuilders. My only issue was I expected to close on June or July 2024 but the house was completed sooner and I was forced to close February 28 of 24. Vivian, my g Guide was very helpful and gave me attention at my calling. It is a pleasant experience to have someone be so attentive.

Our home purchase experience with Lennar was good overall. We had a bit of tug of war during the initial negotiations however once that was sorted out we definitely got a great value for the price paid. Our salesperson Taria and construction manager Cheyenne were very communicative and responsive to all of our questions, requests and concerns. Even after closing their warranty team has been very hands on. Our only concern at this time is that there are several homes within the neighborhood that were sold to foreign investors and being rented immediately for low income housing. This decision was made in poor choice as it creates the risk of decreasing the overall neighborhood value. People don’t work hard to purchase a home over half a million dollars to end up living amongst thugs and lowlives. Sell only to people interested in actually living in the neighborhood and want to see it thrive. ... More

The experience has been an experience you do not want as a homeowner. It started with discouraging you from having a Realtor and getting a Lawyer. Get your home inspected as there are many flaws and some areas not completed to standards. You must take your time during the initial inspection of your home to include the outside landscaping area. I had dead trees and when request of replacement was done Lennar stated that landscaping is not included. Ensure your irrigation system works!!! Tiles in the home chipped and cracked not replaceable by the warranty, do not understand this!!! Check your electrical outlets. Last minute planted grass in the back of house was in horrible condition!!! Crown mouldings inconsistent with incomplete pieces in some areas in the house. Caulking not completed in bathroom areas!!! No peep hole on door!!! Ring doorbell didn’t work and I had to replace it on my own!!! Check that Ring light is spinning for set up. Check cabinets as some are misaligned and screws not completely screwed in, you can see gaps in the kitchen cabinets doors. Bricks pavers were loosed and cracked outside!!! Cracked tiles on roof!!! There are too many things to list as we have been discovering them after moving in!!! Just take your time when inspecting the home!!! ... More
