At first I was not 100% sure buying from Lennar, as I had done my research and the reviews on the Lennar homes weren't as good….BUT… the experience was great! From the representative to the walkthrough with the builder. So far we are happy with our home. It will never be 100% perfect but I am pleased with it and most importantly I can still reach out to the sales representative about any questions, she responds and is very helpful.

Mostly good Front door does not close easily Have to pull hard to close and engage dead bolt. Trouble with all the window locks engaging to lock windows No pre-plumbing done to make water softener/filter easy to install Too many people involved between sale and move in. Would be nice to have one contact. Lennar track not very user friendly

Employees were polite, but communication was subpar. In addition, workmanship quality was not top notch.

The Lennar team was always responsive and quick to answer all questions.

We have been looking around for new house for more than a year. During that period we had visited many sites with many builders. Finally we landed our decision with Lennar , mainly because of 1) quality 2) price 3) service and overall experience with sales agents, service agents, site supervisor and on time closing!

Lennar mortgage is the worst! I may NOT purchase Lennar house in the future purely because of the terrible loan officer from Lennar. I have submitted my complaints about my loan officer and nobody has ever contacted me.

We selected Lennar because it was building homes in the area we wanted to live. No other builders really had inventory in our our price range and timeline. What a mistake! Worst experience I've ever had. They were late completing the home. The mortgage division is incompetent. They cost us thousands of dollars due to their mistakes.

From Agent in the Palm River neighborhood that told us so many things that weren't true or factual in anyway ( Like the Ring Camera that we specifically asked about multi times). She never communicated throughout the process. The price of the home changed multi times. The walk through had a considerably more bluetape markup and issues then any standard. the final closing a week later more than half of the stuff was not fixed or addressed and has carried on for weeks to them properly addressed and have not been able to fully move in the home almost two months later for lack of issues being addressed like the marks on the tile flooring. the place was never really clean at all on move in day. I had to spend hundreds of dollars in cleaning supplies and tools to do it myself. ... More

Richard seemed like a glorified babysitter over workers but really knew nothing. Lee knew more .House was DEFINATELY not checked for problems and repaired before sale was complete.

Great starter or retirement home.

Several items could have been made much better in this experience. From a quality standpoint every item, and there we a lot, could have been done the right way the first time and kept everybody's stress level down. Most items are as cheap as they can go, cabinets, closures..... We never got the trustworthiness we would have liked. We built in a 55 plus, and most of the time you just got an automated e-mail, hardly ever a person to explain, and they would come 5 at a time. Been nice to have that one person with you from start to finish. When you call who you think you should they tell you it is another department. For the price paid we would have hoped for some input, colors, options on hardware, upgrades, additional outlets. This is immediately shut down, they are building what they want and take it or leave it. The responsiveness to the issues was pretty good, roof tiles, roof leaks, walls, cabinets, floors, garage doors. Just a shame you have to have all these crews come back in and do the fire drill. Pay attention when you do the walk through. Know you will have to do extra cleaning. They are very good about coming to do repairs on the punch list.

All services and questions were aways answered in a timely manner.

I feel that there should be some personal contact I needed some guidance during the process a phone call might go a long way instead of an email

The most important thing I would suggest to perspective buyers is to be at the home site weekly, address the concerns as you seem them and make sure you do not close on your home until all punch items are resolved. Also make sure you get your own home inspector.

It was a smooth transition and they seem to come out and fix things pretty quickly. My repairs have been minimal except for the Ring door bell.

I would have liked to be able to upgrade appliances before closing, have a fence put in before closing and have my lanai put in before closing. The only response from the sales rep was NO,

House was not done on time. We had to move and store everything. Mortgage was the worst experience I have ever had.

During my initial walk through I found several issues to include a/c not working, toilet not working and several cosmetic issues prior to closing. The worst thing I found was someone had used and spilled something in my microwave and urine on my master bedroom toilet. I was in complete shock and disgusted and the construction manager, Mark, was made aware of these findings prior to move in. The day of closing the house seemed in order but the toilet was supposedly being replaced and when I mentioned to the construction manager that the a/c was still on the same number he said it was fine and gave some poor excuse. He apologized for his staff using the toilet and microwave and that he was shocked as well and would have a conversation with his crew. When I finished closing on my house and was ready to move in I found that someone used my microwave again and left food in my sink, my toilet was still slow to flush and urine stain was still on the lid. To make matters worse my a/c was NOTA WORKING and my daughter and I slept hot our first night. When I called Mark the next day he told me it was no longer his issue and that I would have to contact warranty. I felt super blindsided. When the a/c guy showed up he realized it was unplugged. I’ve had to put in warranty requests just about every week to have them come fix things that should have been addressed prior to closing and I’ve found the worst construction flaws in my house. You would think the workers were drunk while putting this place together. So far my toilet has stopped working three times and the last plumber that came out found a huge chunk of TILE had been thrown down the pipe and the wax ring had fallen in the pipe as well which was causing the clogs. Worst home buying experience I’ve had. The only upside is my new home orientation contact, Sharmin, has been on top of things when I’ve put in requests and she’s been the only person that has cared about all the issues I’ve encountered and she has proven to care about me as a person whose hard-earned money went into buying this home. The sales rep could have cared less even when myself and my realtor brought these issues up to her nor did the construction manager nor his superiors when contacted. Buyer beware!! We found a spacious house in Mirada for great price compared to other builders.

My whole experience with purchasing a home from Lennar was a great one. Everyone that I dealt with along the way was extremely helpful and attentive and I certainly would have no hesitation recommending Lennar to anyone who asked me. Thank you.

My experience moving her was not a pleasant experience when I first came here to look at the home that I picked it didn't have a stair way it had a hallway and that's not what I got no communication in progress also my house my jack up I really don't care for purchasing any home with them again no one can help you get a clear understanding also we were told if u put down a certain amount if we didn't get approve 250 will be deducted from that and would get the rest back it was my son he is un the military and they say he wasnt approve so they did FHA how about that was a lie my husband didn't wanted to go thru with it and was told if we could not get our money back after they say my son wasn't approve by him self the whole thing is they played with how to suckered u in also I got my water bill and it's so bad they run the water everyday and that bill I had to pay and called and spoke to different number and everyone telling me they don't know anything and can't help me I even text the young lady that did our first walk thru dead end with her I even send Aneese a picture about the bill she told me she would see what they can do when she took it to her boss brook told me nothing no help hunter no help at all no one helped me so I got force into paying a water bill and I moved in on the 19 of January cause I still had a other apartment that I was Still paying to finish out my lease all this was told to brook also they put a rush on this house cause the guy that did our second walk thru said they told him house had to be ready by January 9 and he said that what he did what they say and if they did stated a later Time he could have done that and I wouldn't have to pay all that money and my monthly payments would start later like I say no help at all bad experience for me in buying a home with lennar so don't send me no more reviews to rate you guys just leave me out of your reviews cause not good for me bad experience it could've been more star's no communication after you are sold a house everyone that you communication with doesn't even check on you call you before they called text email now no one is helping you be more fair with ur customer not because you sold a house when they called for help with certain things and the same wall you hit you keeping hitting it cause they don't have answers for you ... Bad experience cheaply done work. Lots of problems but builder still wanted to close be fore fixing them . Also after removing there cheap carpet there was lots of dirt paint and construction trash under pad was not even clean up . Then all the closet shelves were not attached to studs fell down with my wife’s clothes on them and she got hurt. Also had to fix a wall outlet box when removing found beer cans and soda pop bottles in the wall with liquid in them and ants were already starting to make a home were there was food and sugar . Bad builders stay away!!!
