Response to arising issues is poor, new community information in non-existent and the entire area need to be kept cleaner. The home construction workmanship needs extra attention to details for smaller issues that are important. I have several small home fixes that need done and I’m not getting a timely response for a fix?

Comfortable home for a good price. Friendly and helpful people.

Communication was not the best. The morning of closing, was told we might not get the home due to documents that were needed and not told to us until day of closing. Did not get a lot of information from Lennar rep. Thing that are supposed to get fixed still are not and can’t get ahold of correct person to do so. Will recommend due to beautiful homes but will no recommend due to lack of communication

On day 1 we had a water leak because a pipe from the AC unit burst inside the house. Weeks of inconvenience and worry. The paint is already peeling. Issues with the washing machine and windows. Very sloppy workmanship with little or no supervision. There is more I could add.

I moved in 2 months after closing . Home was built in rush so there are many little issue including internet connection with HOA but they are very responsive in resolving all the issues . I have to send multiple tickets but they care and help to resolve the problem .

Overall extremely challenging to communicate with the lennar team. Multiple people all responsible for different branches none of them communicate clearly, causing lots of frustration.

I purchased a single family home a +55 Active Community and would not ever purchase from Lennar again. Attention to detail and simply doing the job right the first time is lacking. 1. There was not a model for me see so I relied on assurances from the salesperson about certain aspects of the home. The model I toured had large lanai similar size to the one on my house. The model has a hose spigot. I specifically asked the salesperson if my house would have one and was told yes. After the house went up and I inquired why the spigot wasn't there, I was told no. 2.I have doors that open onto each other meaning the door handle from one door is already denting the opposite door. When the door warranty person came out he advised one of the doors should have been a pocket door. In two other places where the doors open onto one another he advised the swing of the door should have been reversed. Lennar's response is, just because our warranty person makes a recommendation we are not bound to make the correction. The result will be that I end up tearing a hole in the door. 3. When I moved in the outlets on the kitchen wall did not work. The warranty electrician had to cut a hole in the dry wall and install a junction box because one was not installed in the build. That meant another warranty person had to come back repair the drywall and paint. 4. A couple days after moving in I smelled gas in the cabinet under the gas cook top. The gas company came out and showed me that the connection had been properly sealed - thus the leak.5. The stainless still kitchen sink is horribly scratched. At the time of final walk through there was so much dust and an dirt in the sink I did not see the scratches. A warranty person came once an rubbed out some of the scratches, I am waiting on a second visit. 6.There is no brush on the bottom of the sliding glass door so bugs come in. Daily, there is as much dirt in the tracks inside as outside the door. 7. The MBD and FR ceiling and light fan were wired so that both the light and the fan were on the same switch when you should be able to turn on one or the other. Meaning... yet another call for and trip from a warranty person to correct the issue. Every trip by a warranty person is another request and another day I have to arrange to be home with people traipsing in and out of the house. 8. The house was left was dirty. The grout in the tile floor is filthy. It should be a light color almost white and it is gray with dust and dirt. Looks like they laid the floors and failed to cover them while additional work was being done. After closing I removed one of the upper and lower cabinet next to the refrigerator to have a bar area built. When we removed the lower cabinet we found the cabinet had been installed on the cement floor. They should have extended the kitchen tile and then installed the cabinet. Additionally the floors in the showers were not cleaned after construction. ... More

In overall, it is a good experience, good accompaniment throughout the process, they could improve the materials they use in the bathrooms, update the laundry machines, provide information on how to contract the garbage service.

The process was mind boggling at first, but it was the best thing I have experience beside my two kids. Lennar was by my side through the entire process and in the end I was very satisfied. With that being said, I adore my new home.

Throughout the process I was able to communicate with everyone I needed and the responses were timely.

good material but very slopy workmanship. Have to schedule. Repair every week floor tiles were installed by a blind worker need I say more.

Any issues they answer right away

We are very happy with our home now, but the builders were very sloppy, and we had a lot of cleanup to take care of when we moved in to our place. The grounds in our subdivision are still cluttered with all kinds of construction trash. It is a shame that the company does not take more pride in what is left behind.

Many things told such as gated community, golf cart friendly fans in all rooms and water views not happening They say they did not promise it their salespeople did.

Home was a mess.. floors were so dirty, notch for front door lock was off causing door not to lock properly, many floor tiles without mud underneath (hollow sound), lanai light covered by drywall, electrical outlet in attic missing, garage floor has deep embedded lines in concrete, 2nd lanai light not connected to truss (couldn’t hang fan), poor overall craftsmanship

Lennar’s model is to build a lot of nice homes quickly. Community well planned and they streamline the process for output. This means no customization and a little less Quality Control than I would like. But, they fix the problems and the price gives you room to go back and customize the things you really want. They even worked with us to change lots mid-process. Overall. We are very happy

Craftsmanship was horrible. We were so depressed with the process. The finishing work is terrible, cabinets crooked, floors not done well, paint everywhere, windows mismatched and low quality, fixtures not installed right. Cheap, cheap, cheap. I do not know how you can increase prices and decrease quality. It’s very sad but everyone should be warned

Lennar was very attentive and friendly UNTIL we closed . Since then nothing . Promises made and thus far not kept . This is a beautiful development and nice homes . It is a shame we can not get any one from Lennar to respond . There are finish details to fix , still no mailbox key . We are very disappointed .

The buying experience with Lennar is as one might expect, A large company getting through a lot of detail in a streamlined manner. Some things fall through the cracks and they do a pretty good job of fixing those things. From a buyer’s perspective it seems like having the ability to make changes in the home at an early stage makes the purchase more attractive. Being unable to decide what the end result will be makes the home a cookie cutter product. When you are putting up your life savings it’s hard to understand that a company doesn’t understand that 8 or 10 different homes isn’t enough of a choice in possibilities to make thousands of different personalities happy with their finished product. This was an purchased as an investment property as good thing this was not our main residence. We had our walk thru with the main project manager and gave him a punch list of items that needed attention and or repaired. None of it got done (even after we closed) and they had us submit any issues once they got their money to a website to submit any further claims or issues. After a week of calling they came out and fixed some of the issues and we still have several items were still waiting on hat need attention. This has been ongoing on for over a month now. Home was delivered 1 year late with very poor craftsmanship and little quality control. House was not delivered in moved in condition and was very dirty. Craftsmanship is equivalent to DIY. Uneven flooring, cracked tiles, cracked grout, loose, rotted, moldy subfloors, missing cabinetry, electrical issues, crooked walls, sloppy paint and trim work.

2 days after moving in to the new construction home my downstairs bathroom had a sewage back up and overflow. I had 6 inches of sewage in my entire bottom floor of the house. Bayonet was sent out to scope the lines and clear the clog, they found construction rags blocking the path and the cause for the over flow. This over flow ruined almost all of my furniture and everything in the boxes that had not been unpacked yet sitting in my living room. I was told everything would be covered by Lennar, this was not true. 3 weeks of very loud dehumidifiers running 24/7, which increased my electric bill by almost $200, my living room was tented off where I could hardly get into my kitchen for 4 weeks, I also had to miss a lot of work just to be home while they replaced the drywall that had been damaged. I am a first time home buyer who has had a horrible experience with Lennar through this process. I have still not received an apology for the incompetence of the construction workers, only god knows how they got the construction rags in the pipes. After everything got repaired I proceed to ask about when I would be reimbursed for my personal belongings that were damaged considering I had been told the whole time that I would be reimbursed. I was then given a warranty handbook and told to read a section on page 9 that tells me they aren’t responsible for personal belongings damaged even though I have no control over this. I am getting married in august and still have about 10k that has to be paid off. I am now put further in debt because I have to buy all new furniture. This was supposed to be a fresh start and the beginning to an amazing next set of years, instead I am stuck in a rut thanks to Lennar. What a horrible experience this has been. I had tenant moved into my new house with lots of issues, unfinished drywall paintings, big issue AC is still NOT working after moving into the house for more than a month, glad our tenant was tolerant. Tenants started complaining about noises on the pipes, glad it turned out be something small. This was my worst experience and appreciate if you can look into the issues, this is my fourth home, I am owning and never had any serious experiences like this with any other builder. Hopefully someone can focus on these issues and come up with a resolution soon

This is the second Lennar home I’ve bought within four years. From my experience, Lennar has greatly improved their services. I do like the educational videos, and their process for warranty requests have greatly been improved. I do like my home, but workmanship still has a lot to be desired. For example, my pavers at one spot keep collapsing, and I have noticed that there isn’t as much as a speck of the white polymer sand applied on the surface to fill in the spaces. As a result, the spaces are enlarging. I have had a couple tickets called in for repairs in certain spots, which were done, but the issue keeps resurfacing. I am confident that Lennar will have a permanent solution for the pavers. After all, curb appeal is an introduction to one’s home.
