Be sure and double check the paint job

Certain promises were made and kept, others were not.

We are enjoying our new home, but as we actually live in the place we have started to noticed a few things. I think one of the biggest issues is a lack of quality workmanship. There are paint splatters everywhere, we even have a paint footprint in our entryway. Didn't notice it at first because it blends in with tile colors but when the light hits it just right....boom...there it is. Speaking of the tile floor...several high spots..nothing major...just enough to notice when you walk barefoot. Trim work....well a lot of chalk in some places to compensate. IN general a lack of care....we also have dried grout on our shower floor which so far I have not been able to remove. Is the house built well....I think so....I just wish they took more pride in their work. ... More

All walkthroughs; initial and final needs to be better. At final walkthrough our home looked like it needed a lot of touchup that a 5 year old can see. Not sure why this was taken care of before we went so we could spend limited time we had on important issues. Aesthetically it just was ready. People who giving the walkthroughs especially for us the initial walkthrough here wasnt very good as the guy seemed like rushing us and gave us very litttle info on the home, eqiipment etc

After moving in, in less than 2 weeks a couple of things in the house were deteriorating showing the poor workmanship and the cheap materials used to build the house. After moving in I opened a window due to the smell of cleaning supplies when opening the window all of the window seal came off. First time passing mop and a piece of the cabinet molding on the floor just came off without even touching it. The seal or caulking on the floor used to seal the cabinet totally cracked (all this after 2 weeks of moving in) On the master bathroom one of the sinks is fully loose, the seal or calking was poorly applied so the sink is fully loose. These thing I can maybe see happening after a couple of years being in the house but not 2 weeks after moving in. Regarding responsiveness they do respond but they do take their time, when moving there were some issues with appliances it was taken care off but I had to be on top of it, calling over and over would be promised a date and they would never show up and wouldn't answer messages in a timely manner. ... Overall I had a good experience with lennar it was hassle free and everyone was very professional

No basis to star rate last 2, so we provided a non-committal 3 stars each What does Trustworthiness mean in this context? And fortunately, we haven't had to judge that. But, I really don't know what you're looking for in the last two. We're basically happy with the house and the community. Annoying items: 1.No ceiling lights in bedrooms and living/dining rooms Lennar rep (mostly very nice and helpful) said some want lights, others, ceiling fans. Our solution: ask the new owners before finalizing. What a thought!?! 2. Ditto for kitchen faucet. No flexible hose spray nozzle. I don't think I've been in a home since the 60's that didn't have a sprayer. I'm having to have an outside plumber do it. 3. The front door opens OUTWARD. Almost everyone who comes in comments on that. Not very shopping bags and boxes friendly. The items above are not deal breakers, but certainly annoying, and we either deal with them with our checkbook or have 3 important negatives in what will almost assuredly be our final home at 74 and 68 years of age. ... It was our understanding when making the decision on buying in this neighborhood, that there was going tp be a dog park and playground put in. I can't get answers on the timeline for thus and the one person who responded was the previous construction manager who said here doesn't think they're doing it anymore. The buying process itself was great but a couple months later we are missing out on what was a huge selling point for us on this neighborhood...

While the sales contact I worked with did seem like a used car dealer, he did stay late to get the sale. Lennar hasbeen caught with their hands in the cookie jar a few times. Lennar owns Eagle Mortgage and Eagle Mortgage owns the appraisal company. This allows them to get to closing quickly, which is very nice for the buyer. It also makes it very easy for lennar to put loan packages together that it shouldn't. I am lucky, most of the process was easy and efficient. It's not the best build quality in the final touches, but it is a solid house.

Buying a home with Lennar was a good experience. Anessa the Lennar rep is what truly made it worthwhile. Other than that I have not had any issues so far except for not enough coats of paint on the wall and having to kill bugs inside the house due to them leaving windows open etc while building the houses.

Also, another item is the toilet roll holder, I asked for someone to call back and no one has yet ( 2 weeks ago ), Seems that the holder will not hold any roll that we've used. Right now we use it as a hand towel holder?

I have had some problems inside and outside the home, which have not yet been resolved and have been reported at the time

Over all I’m satisfied with my new home. I knew going in what to expect. Lower end fixtures and appliances, drywall work definitely not the best but about what I expected from a track home. People at lennar very helpful but slow to respond to minor issues. Never did get my garage keys and bathroom exhaust fan never has worked.

I a sense se are happy with our new home. The only issue we had is after you move and how responsive are the knolowgist. We have a lot of issues that still have not been taken care. For example our shower base in the bathroom we have on the master room came defective. A new shower base was put on but till this time have pass more than three weeks and we still not able to use it. The drywall and ceramic tile have not been installed yet. Our double blind was replace but the blind used was defective.

My home still does not have a front door lock. My construction manager told us he ordered the lock a day after we closed on October 21, 2024 and told us he would have it in two weeks. It is now December 12th and the construction manager does not return my calls. He has our garage door opener which he was supposed to use to open the house to install the lock so I will need it back or a replacement. This whole experience is unprofessional!

Sadly, our issues that were in our walk through were not resolved yet and we have been living in the house for almost 2 months. We put so much money into buying this home it's sad we can't get stuff addressed in a timely manner.

Appliances are bottom line quality. Too many web sites. Should be one portl with one usr Id and password. Too many regulations. Why do I have to pay an application fee after a project is approved. Not very responsive to some issues. Construction manager and staff make promises and take too long, if at all, to respond.

Purchase this model only for because of the layout and having my mom close. Excellent floor plan. Quality of work and materials used could be better. Compromise only for floorplan layout and lot size.

I'm EXTREMELY disappointed in the quality of materials and labor . I bought this Townhome because' Lennar' was the builder. Ryan Homes has comparable prices and locations but I chose this because Lennar had such a good name in the building industry. My other home here in FL was not a Lennar but my dad's home, built 2003, is Lennar and the quality of his home is excellent, I would NOT recommend Lennar to anyone these days. They do not build anything. They sub it all out and the contractors get paid for the job, not the quality of the work. -- Granite countertop seems are very obvious. -- Cheapest CERAMIC tile you can buy .. but when I asked b4 i bought, they weren't sure if it was porcelain or not. -- Shower rod fell during first shower. -- Kitchen corner cabinets have no top so grease and dirt fall to the base of it .. they should have put no bottom then, at least it would be able to be cleaned.. etc, etc. Just cheap materials used , lazy contractors, every corner cut to save a dollar ... ... The closing experience they have it on point, but responsiveness to issues is a failure. Still waiting on stuff from the exemption list to be fixed. Every time they say they are coming they just waste my time because they don’t show up and the response is just ohh well.

Lennar makes the home buying experience easy. However, after moving in to my new home, I discovered that it seems like hired contactors do not pay attention to details. Poor paint job....drips everywhere.

Michael and Joe say they will fix a reported problem but never follow through. Upstairs floor boards are creaky and depressed feeling as though your going to follow through. When reporting problems pertaining to workmanship of home the buyer is told that it’s a cosmetic issue and that it’s not covered even though it’s the fault of the builders. When buying a new home you should feel good about it and not feel that there is a mountain of problems. I live across from a model home and people constantly ask me about our Lennar house and neighborhood. I am at the point where I’ll be telling them the truth. I’m not happy ... More
