The sales process went well. Good communication etc. on the other hand, Lennar support after closure is terrible. They do not promptly respond to issues nor take accountability of damages that you observe when you start living the house. I am still waiting for responses to several service requests. My impression is that they do not want to fix the issues.

Dealing with Lennar for the past couple months has been nothing short of pure misery a complete disappointment. You open a warranty request and they keep you ignoring you. Multiples times I'm been trying to hold the warranty service from my community and not luck.

I am def going to be writing a review. To news channel 8, Facebook , Instagram , Twitter. I am shocked at what my house looks like. There is not one piece of molding in any room that is clean and hole paint streak free. Not one. Two doors in house don’t close. Which they were told at walk through never fixed. Holes in both showers in tile. I am saddened that I spent this much money for a place that the inside is literally embarrassing. I have pics which I will be sending you. I will also be sending to social media as I can already tell I am not going to get this stuff fixed. The blue tape during walk through was ignored. Heck some blue tape is still there and was painted over. Very sad. Many people warned me about Lennar. But we ignored it. Totally full of regrets. Unfortunately I have to say that I’m extremely disappointed with the quality of the construction in general of my Townhome. I was very excited to get a Lennar home due to reputation in the Texas market ( I moved from Texas ) thinking I was getting a well made home. During my walk through I was surprised of how many issues the house had , holes in the wall , unfinished paint every where, doors that needed to be sanded and painted, windows frames that needed to be finished, grout on the tile not cleaned, areas in the bathrooms where the tile need grout to seal the tile, a half wall in the master bathroom completely crooked, carpet completely loose in the second floor, I can go on and one with all the details that still need to be repair . During my final walk through I told the construction manager how disappointed I was that most of the issues that I asked to be fixed still were not fixed, the response that I got was “ well this is not one of the most expensive of Lennar homes line “ …,, waooo I was speechless with that statement. Now Im dealing with the Waranty , which is been a nightmare, and still dealing with the horrible customer service from a rude person that communicate through text messages only and acting like he’s doing us a favor. He’s not respectful of our time and wants to schedule things any time . We’re busy professionals in our house , and the repairs need to be accommodating our schedule not the other way around. If I knew I have to go through this nightmare I would not buy a Lennar house. ... More

Love my townhouse. However I am almost 2 weeks moved in and my sons room and his bathroom have no power. Had to send in a request and it could be weeks before someone comes to fix it.

Overall process was great. There some hiccups towards closing with Lennar's lender, stuff that could have been avoided if the documents we provided were processed earlier, instead of the week before closing.

We bought because of the area and pricing , realtor was 5 stars all around and still is, even after we bought he has helped in so many ways. I definitely recommend Aaron 100%. As for the Loan officer , was a terrible experience after the 1st interaction. She would never answer texts, emails or phone calls till she needed something from you. Was very negative that you would be approved although my income was double what was needed. I suggested if you do get assigned to NINA to run the other way. lol. Or ask for someone else. But the home is great , used some cheap materials and we had to do a few upgrades and adjustments to make it better. Wish the WiFi was able to hardwired in better places than kitchen and living room. Cu my offices can’t be hardwired since they are downstairs. Electrical is the bare minimum. So eventually you will have to upgrade. Master bathroom we had to upgrade because floor was very slippery and 3 different neighbors agreed. They said double pane windows but they are not. We have made about 5 warranty calls. The HOA is not good at returning emails or calls either till they are ready to talk to you. The response time is a snails pace. Otherwise great neighbors. The gym is terrin as well. ... More

We would have given an overall higher score had we not used Lennar Mortgage. The process of securing our mortgage was complicated, confusing and duplicative. On the other hand we love our home and have found Lennar to be very responsive to our questions and to any concerns we may have had.

All in all our experience was not too bad was very disappointed that the sales person did not tell us of another property same model that was available because she didn’t think we’d want to be on a corner lot. I only found out because I looked at the on line map on the availability and noticed that there was a corner unit available for less than what we were going to pay!

Employees were polite, but communication was subpar. In addition, workmanship quality was not top notch.

The experience was not too bad but there were things we wish were clearer at the time we decided to sign in to buy the townhouse. Initially, the post we saw on Zillow said 100 HOA which we thought it was great. But after signing in we learned that it was going to be 220 HOA plus $99 CDD which was not in the post we saw. And after we purchased we found out the HOA was $270 instead so it's something a little disappointing because we could've been told from the beginning. The townhouse also was supposed to be done by February or March but it took them around 2 more months to get it built and delivered to us. We had to use special financing in order to qualify and also we got incentives for the purchase but all those numbers were pretty confusing and we still don't understand were the incentives went and how the 11k extra that had to be paid for the special financing worked to help. We're very happy with our new home and I believe somehow the incentives helped us but I would rate everything around 3.5 for not being clear enough with us to understand the numbers the way it should be. ... Everything was going great until last minute we were required to bring more money to closing. The drive through closing was just not ideal. But overall we love our home and anything that has gone wrong was fixed or waiting to be fixed

Very hard a times to get responses to our questions. Being in central time zone we would get information so late in day we couldn’t get things sorted out before people were gone. Not knowing whom to contact at times it seemed like we were directed to a lot of different people that we hadn’t really talked to. Easier to deal with 1-2 individuals for us.

The worst part of our buying experience was the mortgage approval process. I will never submit to that again. The house was already completed, so we just had walk-through and punch list issues. We like the house so far, but follow-up is the Achilles heel of most builders.

Mostly good Front door does not close easily Have to pull hard to close and engage dead bolt. Trouble with all the window locks engaging to lock windows No pre-plumbing done to make water softener/filter easy to install Too many people involved between sale and move in. Would be nice to have one contact. Lennar track not very user friendly

I moved in 2 months after closing . Home was built in rush so there are many little issue including internet connection with HOA but they are very responsive in resolving all the issues . I have to send multiple tickets but they care and help to resolve the problem .

Our best experience came with the team who met us at the home; the Construction Manager “C” who should in my opinion play a much bigger part with Lennar. The young man who did the walk through was fantastic and made us feel comfortable. Anna was very warm in person and helpful. We have NO love for your Loan Department at all. The lie “$11,000 towards your closing cost” shouldn’t be used anymore. Though there was a bright spot with “J” the rest of everyone else was unprofessional and extremely pushy. I have been very vocal in discouraging anyone from financing with Lennar. There also is a person who needs remedial sales and customer service training in your “Home Protection Mortgage Insurance”. He was EXTREMELY unprofessional and rude. We do love the home, however there things that could be done to improve it. Our overall experience and totality of it all is a C plus. ... More

When I initially decided to purchase my home, I was told the closing date would be in September of 2020. When I saw construction had not yet started on my home (well after construction was supposed to have begun) I brought it up with Lennar staff. I was subsequently told the home would not be ready until closer to January 2021. As a result, I was offered a different lot with the same floorplan, which was supposed to be ready around September of 2020 (the original agreed upon timeline). When this offer was made to me, I was told this would be at no extra cost, as compensation for the mix up. I agreed to take the new lot, since I had already set plans in motion to move out of my current living space (banking on a September move in date). Two days later, I was told I would have to pay an additional fee in order to switch to the lot that would have been ready on time, and that I would have to stay with the original lot if I did not want to agree to pay more up front. I was obviously frustrated at this point, and was essentially told by Lennar staff that these were my only two options. I ultimately elected to sort out a living situation to fill out the additional time it would require to stay with the first lot, and not pay extra for a different lot. From this point on, the construction process went smoothly and expeditiously. The construction manager, Craig, was thorough and available throughout this process. However, on closing day, there was some kind of miscommunication somewhere in the Lennar organization and the construction crew was still working to correct some of the issues pointed out during the initial walkthrough when I arrived to move in. I'm not entirely sure who this oversight falls on, but it was disappointing things were not 100% complete and there had not been a cleaning done prior to my move in. All the aforementioned frustration aside, the quality of the home is top notch and I am incredibly pleased with the end result. I have not had any issues beyond a few minor cosmetic fixes. Good customer service. Home looks nice and modern. Quality of materials, paint, etc. could improve.

Quality of finished products (e.g., toilet fixtures) poor.

The finance people, and sales person was awesome. The concierge person seemed a bit unorganized or lost. Wasn't told to switch sprinklers and ended up with a water bill of $2,000. Many blue tape items were not addressed.

I think the sales agent was nice but the process which I’m sure is trained feels rushed and forced. You are not allowed to review documents. It’s sign and make a down payment. Will not be my last purchase but will definitely use a realtor or attorney going forward. Same thing for ky walk thru. Never got to noir or green tape so refused to sign for the walk thru. 2nd round although I taped half the tape was still up and not touched up. Overall I’m still happy with my purchase.

We recently closed on a single family home. The closing process was all one way. The builder set the schedule and we had to live with it. Living in another state required us to cancel flights and reboot them as their schedule changed. When I asked for an one day change in the schedule, I was told 'No Can do', but they later changed the schedule by a week. The workmen did a fabulous job of addressing all the building defects we identified during the 'walk threw celebration' which is really a home inspection prior to closing. We purchsed this home using a realtor as our eyes as we live 1500 miles away. Overall the house itself is built well with exception of the rooms being out of square! The shower for example is approximately 1 inch out of square, which is quite noticeable when using 2 inch square floor tile. The appliances are strictly builder grade and we will update these ASAP. The excessive paperwork trying to purchase this home was just that "Excessive and repetative" seems the right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing, many different people sending you the same information and when you have a question nobody seems to know who's in charge. I have several differant emails contradicting who to contact for the same issue, seems everone wants to pass the buck! One would think you should contact your management compaany with issues and they in turn would in turn decide if the issue should be turned over to the Master HOA, that is not the case here...you contact the management company and they tell you "That's not my job, you need to contact the Lennar!" in my mind that's why we are paying a management company, at least that's how it worked when I was the president of a HOA in Arizona, the members never had to contact the master association, everything was handled through the managent company. ...
