Instead of being “ wowed” our home buying experience was terrible. The inside of the home was ok, the tile floors being the worst….in fact we are still trying to get the floors clean and presentable. The customer rep seemed bored and mechanical and did not act on any issues for over a month. Our construction manager Mark was the only reliable person that we could talk to. Workmanship is absolutely terrible. Extremely disappointing to find out that the interior was painted a flat white, no one told us and we spent more money painting that we should have. Lennar should have given us some credit for fixing stark white walls. Even the landscaping was seemingly done without thought. The backyard is bumpy, a friend has already fallen. The workers are careless and there isn’t any craftsmanship. I was told that Lennar is a production builder….I believe it. Move in experience was kind of a hustle. Need to identify al issues immediately and if find other problems must go through on line process that has not been paid attention to. I had to pay for outside people to address my issues.. sorry got into this situation.

We would have given an overall higher score had we not used Lennar Mortgage. The process of securing our mortgage was complicated, confusing and duplicative. On the other hand we love our home and have found Lennar to be very responsive to our questions and to any concerns we may have had.

This home buying experience has been a total nightmare. Everything from poor workmanship to electrical, plumbing, door issues, etc. We closed 2 months ago and still have multiple issues that have not been taken care of. In addition, we found out after we closed on our house that Lennar does not include screen doors on the patio doors! We purchase them from C&C window for $720.00. When they went to install them on the triple slider, they couldn't install because the door frame was installed incorrectly. C&C replaced the door jam and installed the screens but in the process ripped out a big section of drywall and Stucco that still hasn't been repaired. In addition to that I still have a list of 14 items that have not been corrected. Once they get your money, good luck with getting issues fixed. ... More

I believe lennar is priced competitively in triple creek. You will miss out on some upgraded features but if your not afraid of some diy projects you can make it what you want and save a few bucks.

This is my second experience with Lennar, first house had good quality in almost everything; the new house had a lot of issues and now is really difficult to get them fixed. I only got help from one person (Mr Lee). Also the way that they does the closing is annoying, my realtor had to get paperwork through the title company after almost two months because they never gave me a copy.

The quality of EVERYTHING in my home is garbage. My experience with Lennar has not been a good one.

Lennar is extremely unresponsive and quaility of work is poor. I would never buy from Lennar again. I just did a walk-through with BTI Parnters at Marina Pointe. Their attention to detail was night and day comparted to Lennar.

Communication was absolutely horrible through the home buying process. My close date was changed more than half a dozen times and we were over 1 yr delayed, I received a house with many issues that are still being resolved including exposed electrical wires, unfinished kitchen cabinets, etc. The warranty team takes quite a long time to resolve problems when something is submitted. Lots of corners were cut and it was a very unpleasant experience overall.

Do not buy, run away. Sales team made false promises, they are just looking for your money. No quality and construction issues left and right. Tile issues, plumbing issues, poor worksmanship, cutting corners everywhere. They want to save on everything.just expect atleast 4walls.

The only “positive” thing about this experience was that our home was done on time as promised by Lennar however there were A LOT of imperfections once we actually got in the house. Also not to mention that the home being done on time is the bare minimum from their end. We had our walk through scheduled the week before closing like it’s always done with any new construction. During our walkthrough we marked everything that needed to be corrected and very clearly communicated this with the construction manager. When we returned a week later for closing NOTHING had been done. There were a lot of paint touch ups that needed to be done, faucets to be fixed, towel holder was put at the wrong spot in the master bathroom, grout in bathrooms was discolored, tiles were dirty and stained, front door would not close right, elements missing from the house, paint was on the carpet in almost every room, backyard was not leveled before putting down the grass, and the list goes on with many many other big imperfections. On top of all of that there were no cleaners sent to clean the house before it being handed over to us. The house was dirty in every aspect. The day of closing we also expressed how the towel holders and paper towel holder they put in the bathroom are so outdated and looked horrible but instead of at least removing them for us and doing the drywall repair we were told by the construction manager that “his hands are tied”. We were told that the model homes we saw had the same ones , but it makes no sense to me how they took the initiative to put different different type of counters in the kitchen compared to the model home (flat instead of a breakfast bar) but could not put something more modern as the towel and toilet paper holders in the bathrooms. It is hypocritical that the house we got was different in some ways compared to the model home but only where it was convenient for them to be different without even notifying us of the differences. It would’ve been the least they could do for us after arriving there the day of closing with nothing being done. We spend the next month having numerous different workers come in the house fixing what should’ve already been fixed. The construction manager kept open communication with us and made sure most of the things got done, however, again, that is the bare minimum. Also would like to note that later we found out that the construction manager that was in charge of our home was on leave during the building process due to personal reasons which we completely understand, but I can confidently say we were MORE than patient and did not receive the above and beyond service we should’ve received to make up for this horrible experience. We are fist time homebuyers and we had the most awful experience with Lennar and with the entire home buying process as a whole. We will definitely never consider Lennar for our next home, or recommend Lennar to anyone. ... More

Terrible. Have not been fixed. Nothing. No response.

The design is great. However, the lack of a thorough inspection by Lennar construction team and/or contractors have masked a lot of obvious issues. HVAC room not sealed properly, gaps in door framing, lumps in carpet, nails sticking out, uneven tiles, to name a few.

The experience went well for the most part. Our first point of contact (POC), Nicole, was OUTSTANDING! She was friendly, personable, attentive and resourceful. She communicated with us at every turn. Megan, our finance POC was also on point. She was resourceful, quick and responsive. Not giving 5 stars across is due to the condition of the home and the responsiveness to our requests/communications. Jarred, our POC for construction issues, was great only once. Getting a hold of him has always been a problem. We had a number of issues that needed attention. Most were handled quickly but not all. Voicemails and emails to get updated went unanswered...not what professionals want from other professionals. At this moment in time we have not been assured that all issues were corrected and we're 2 months out/past from closing. ... More

Bad quality construction, cheap products. Lennar has very customer service and zero post-sale commitment. There is no SLA for the resolution of the issues. Uneven flooring, lousy painting, cracks on the walls.

Worst experience ever, they don’t even deserve one star. Stay away from Lennar DO NOT buy a house from this builder

We closed on home 2 months ago and still require over a Dozen repairs to be addressed and one is security related. Have made numerous requests to have these items repaired. Seems that Lennar is focused on mass production instead of Quality. Overall, we love the neighbor's and facility attributes.

We were very pleased and impressed with our New Home Consultant. The buying process was handled efficiently and professionally through her. Unfortunately, the experience of dealing with construction issues has not been the same. Both the new home orientation and final walk-thru were very disappointing due to the number and nature of items needing attention, the cleanliness of the house, as well as the responses from the construction rep regarding these issues. A list was made by the construction rep at the final walk-thru and we were promised the items would be taken care of within days after closing. With issues unresolved almost six weeks after closing, issues were reported to the portal on Feb 7 and we are awaiting a response. ... More

The house is supposed to be new and without problems, on December 9 I did the closing and there were some things to fix. The engineer in charge of the house promised that he would fix the house in a matter of weeks, as of today, January 31, the house remains the same and both the engineer and the customer service person are still missing without letting me know when they are going to fix it. the problems that the house has. The treatment that my wife and I have received in a matter of the house is incredible. It is unacceptable that they have a group of people working without caring about the things they do. Lennar homes tried to sell us the home which was 80% complete. They force is to close threatening to take away the deposit money. We had a 80 items on the to do list at the time of walk-through end since we have closed two months ago, I have had no luck in getting any of those items taken care

My experience with Lennar has been quite disappointing. Despite being promised that all pending tasks would be completed prior to closing, several important items were left unfinished. They were in a rush to close all the homes by November and there was no focus on completing the work before closing. The closet doors were not fixed, shower rods were not installed, the painting was not done to a satisfactory standard, and there were drywall cracks and partially painted lanai door. I would not recommend purchasing a home from Lennar. They did not demonstrate a customer-centric approach and their responsiveness declined once the closing was completed. Despite repeated attempts to follow up on the unresolved issues, the builder seemed disinterested in resolving the matter. I strongly advise against purchasing a home from Lennar. It may cost a bit more, but it would be worth considering other builders such as MI Homes or Pulte Homes. Dont buy from Lennar, EVER! They are cheapskates who cant do anything right, force you into closing early with promises of fixing things, but do not deliver. The material is cheap, the labor is crap, the multiple mistakes due to their cheap laborers is absolutely horrible. The home is not worth the price they charge AT ALL! I could have done a better job than their day laborers. Their construction manager Derrick clearly has no idea how to do his job or how to manage his workers to make sure they do it right. We have had nothing, but issues and we have only been in the home a month. The padding between townhomes walls is not enough, the padding under the carpet is none existent. We can hear everything! There is no sound proofing whatsoever, its like living in an apt again. The paint mistakes, the caulking missed, the leaking windows, tile floors installed incorrectly, the broken cabinets, and these are some of the issues we have that have yet to be fixed, The sales people have no idea what they are selling. No one in this organization communicates with anyone else. Sales people promise one thing, but that is clearly not what is done. House was a mess when we moved in. Walls needed repainting and when they repainted the workers got paint on carpet, tile, everything and it is not cleaned up yet. Our A/C has gone out 3 times and is still not fixed. No one from Lennar follows up when work order is put in. Finally, the HOA is charging us a late fee because Lennars title company sent them a faded check that HOA could not cash and cannot get a hold of the title company to cut a new check. I would not recommend to anyone to deal with Lennar.

It was a pleasure to deal with Phil during the whole process. I would recommend buying with Phil.
