The purchase of the home from the agent and the mortgage lender were phenomenal. However, the quality of the work (still not completed) is a little disheartening. At this point I’m not sure if I would purchase another Lennar home.

I was surprised at how little urgency was taken to make sure my home was completed before my closing date. At closing I was told that if I didn’t like the house, they could sell it to someone else.

Overall I am now happy with my home, but it took a while to get there. The builder did not finish things that were promised to me at my final walk-through for closing date, and it has taken a very long time to get those things completed. The office staff at my community was great to work with, but I was not as happy with the building process.

The process was smooth but after living here for a few month now.The workmanship and quality of materials and appliances are so poor.I have had several issues since moving in.My latest issue was leaking beneath my kitchen sink which damaged the flooring.

The price of the home is a was higher than I wanted to spend and the fact that the taxes will go significantly is discouraging. No one mentioned that when you purchase the home the taxes are based on the land not the house. After the house is built is when you get the real sticker shock

The process is fast, but this tendency reduces quality. No buyers remorse, but be prepared to have to possibly deal with issues right after moving in to the home. For me it was replacement of the exterior water pressure backup spout, repairing a roof leak, and broken doorbell chime. I notice other minor things pointing to lower quality of work like crooked windows for example. But I am still happy with my purchase as any issue I encounter so far they do service eventually. I moved in 4 months ago.

Lennar employees we worked with were very nice and helpful throughout. My main complaint is the agent said we were getting certain amenities to the house such as the house being set up as a smart home. That wasn’t the case. There were other things we thought we were getting with the home but were disappointed when that was not so. I love our new home and our community, but the lack of knowledge of my agent displayed and the let down we felt put a sour taste in our mouths about lennar. In all the process, communication was very poor. When we got to the inspection process we didn’t even got time to go through the entire house, cause they guy was in a time frame. During construction process we never got any updates of how the house was going.

Buyers must ensure the get the name and phone number of the upper management before closing. If it is possible to have a converzation with them. That is necessary in case any complaint is not answered by the immediate managers, one can raise the complaint to a higher level. At the moment I have several problems that only the administrator gives me an answer and no management is able to write or call me to tell me how to solve the case. They close my complaints without being resolved, they don't care if I agree or not.

make sure all items are completed and done properly because you have a great hassle trying to get them resolved with the 'Warranty/customer service dept". Also, really check the outside of your home for slope and drainage... it has been 4 months and the drainage/slop from and between homes has yet to be properly addressed. there are times we have a small bass pond between the homes. it seems there is always something else to blame vs fixing the problem! will strongly stray away from a Lennar build again.

I had a lot of issues with the house they promise everything was going to be fixed by the closing date, then a month after still issues. I understand you built a lot of houses at once but you can’t turn your back to quality and good finishes. This is my second lennar I don’t think I’ll have a third one

We’ve had an okay experience. A lot of the finishes are cheaper quality with things missing like towel racks, toilet paper holders etc that you don’t realize won’t come with it. The way they dramatically slope the small sides of the home also just make mud pits on both sides of your house and our neighbors are having the same issues. We’re on the edge of the path and Lennar still hasn’t put sod down on the path along our yard so it’s another mud pit now overrun with weeds.

I still do not have items repaired. I missed my closing due to the home not being done. I was misled numerous time and I have no trust in the construction team. My sales rep was just that a sales person. Made many promises that never was every followed up on after the purchase

It has been a long hard struggle just getting the house. There were many set backs, which could have been avoided. Now that I am in the house, 2 appliances have failed on me, and it seems that I have to pay for the repair which again, was avoidable. The paint on the walls is so thin that I wiped it off just cleaning a stain on the wall

At the beginning of the purchase, everything went smoothly and fast. When closing came the house was inspected and a few things were defective. The workers had left broken tiles on the roof some were replaced but not all of them. The laundry room had a bad connecting outlet for the washer machine we had to replace. My refrigerator had no water nor ice coming out they promised it would immediately get fixed here We are two month later and no one has been able to fix it, Apparently the water hose was never connected to the water line under the kitchen sink.
