Communication was horrible. Pretty bad and very stressful experience with the closing process.

Lennar employees we worked with were very nice and helpful throughout. My main complaint is the agent said we were getting certain amenities to the house such as the house being set up as a smart home. That wasn’t the case. There were other things we thought we were getting with the home but were disappointed when that was not so. I love our new home and our community, but the lack of knowledge of my agent displayed and the let down we felt put a sour taste in our mouths about lennar. And the end when we brought these things up during our final walk through, but said those types of amenities were for “luxury homes, in more upscale communities”. That comment stayed with me after we moved in, I started to notice, things about the house that appeared rushed and sloppy. Paint and plaster on the floors, tub, carpet. Random screws protruding from the ceiling. When I walk barefoot upstairs, there are certain places I can actually feel like a nail or screw that wasn’t drilled or hammered all the way through. I will be a little more detailed in how I inspect my next home when the time comes, especially if it’s a Lennar home. The buying process itself went very smooth with Lennar. They kept us update to date on what to expect any were on target with time lines. However, the quality of the home is just not there. We noticed issues during the building process and even brought up a few and they weren't ever really addressed. We have uneven spots in the floor upstairs. Walls where you can bowing in the dry wall. They did a horrible job on most of the caulking around our sinks and toilets. The carpet was laid where there are pieces that meet in some odd areas. The tile in our upstairs bathroom looks like the put in no spacing and just slapped pieces in place. They use flat paint which is horrible for any room and we have already had to repaint after just 5 months because you cannot even wipe off the smallest smudge. Overall I would never buy a Lennar home again or recommend it to anyone I know. ... More

In all the process, communication was very poor. When we got to the inspection process we didn’t even got time to go through the entire house, cause they guy was in a time frame. During construction process we never got any updates of how the house was going.

Buyers must ensure the get the name and phone number of the upper management before closing. If it is possible to have a converzation with them. That is necessary in case any complaint is not answered by the immediate managers, one can raise the complaint to a higher level. At the moment I have several problems that only the administrator gives me an answer and no management is able to write or call me to tell me how to solve the case. They close my complaints without being resolved, they don't care if I agree or not.

The builders mortgages Company is very difficult to deal with. I would not recommend using Lennar mortgage company.

Went through the walkthrough on a friday and were supposed to close on Wednesday. Get to the home on Wednesday for final walk and most of the punch list was not completed. Construction manager said he just checked the home this morning and saw things weren't done. So no follow up and no care for getting things right. Part of the roof needed re-shingled and told on the morning not doing it. No warning or heads up, fix was shoddy work also. ended up having to have a run in the roof re-shingled day after closing.

do not sign any sale contract until you are sure you get a fear deal, especially when home market is going down, I end out buying my home overprice, if you sign it and give a deposit, they won't give credit even if you see they are selling the same model home for 65k less of what you sign for.

The buying experience was ok . It was after the sale when you notice issues that the builder refuses to fix. Like grading issues and water problems that they won't address. It is very disconcerting

Overall, construction is very cheap, down to the electrical sockets which I have never seen the likes. The appliances are another issue. They will not last long. I have never seen this quality in a new build. Very disappointing. You could have done some better.

Overall did not have a good experience. Aaron and Lennar Title were amazing, but everyone else was extremely unresponsive and unprofessional. We were given an interest rate during our initial purchase agreement that later turned out to be nothing but a dream. They made promises they couldn’t keep, and it was nothing short of a nightmare. We also had a serious grading issue that we addressed during our walkthrough, and after badgering numerous people the day before our closing date because it still had not been addressed, we did not even know if we were going to close the day of or not until late afternoon. Steve the construction manager was extremely unresponsive during this whole process. When I read the Lennar builder site everything seems to be high end qualities. The loan officers and other personnel are great but the building quality and workmanship is cheap, lack of caring, and attention to details. It shows in the tiles uneven and not all full has adhesive, terrible caulking, painting is cheap and easily marked, cheap shower tiles with grout not sealed, cheap carpet, no shower doors, drain very slow, washer and dryer small and low end of GE, the water line was set up incorrectly and full of sand, sliding doors constantly have bugs and debris coming through, extremely cheap windows blinds and uneven, it’s already falling apart at the back door, HVAC or thermostat no one can explain why when change from 69 to 72 within a few minutes temperature reach 72 on display or when change from 72 to 69, it jump to 75 degree working it’s way back to 69 but it takes forever to reach that setting. Constant bugs and ants and black bugs look like black pepper coming in the house. Very tiny back porch, one of the power plug the hot and ground wire was touching each other baseboards are not painted they are original color from the manufacture. Sloppy with caulking and other sticky residues, filter was dirty when I moved in causing the AC to not working properly. Garage floor are not grouted, leaving left over paint cans and buckets behind with nasty residue. Counter top not clean underneath full of white powder, some part of the kitchen are caulk and some are not. One of the kick base plate was not glue or nail in properly so it’s already fell apart in less than 1 1/2 month. My first electric bill was $205 for a very small house. I barely uses anything. above the garage has no insulation. Inside walls has no insulation, This house has no radiant barriers like my Holiday home. Smoke alarms came on randomly I had to turn of the main switch. Terrible grass in the backyard almost unusable backyard, uneven, very sharp poky grass, grow sparsely, no gutters so water coming from the roof will damage the backyard. Getting bombarded by salesman on the first day. The outlet some nice and tight but some are too loose. One of the door to the laundry room wasn’t closed properly so I had to fixed it myself. Currently I have 3 rooms AC vents closed. Two bedrooms and a bathroom to help cool master bedroom and living room cool faster, it’s not right one bit. I have my fan on 24/7 to help cool the main bedroom and living room. Would I buy Lennar again? My answer is a BIG NO! Even with low interest rate from Lennar Lender. The only good thing about Lennar at this point is their mortgage and loan officer team, 5 stars from me and their Apps and quick response team. ... More

While initially the salesperson at the development seemed professional and caring about our needs, as soon as a purchase contract was signed they were no where to be found. The followup from our concierge and construction manager were horrible. Felt completely as though we we a number, used only to get Lennars quarterly revenue booked and after that just dismissed. I wouldn't do it again.

While the financing process had its challenges, the personal experience of working with the team was positive. However, it seemed that the sales department was somewhat misleading regarding the selection and purchase of the home. They were quite insistent that the prices of other homes would be significantly higher than the existing one, possibly to meet their sales goals. I would advise future homeowners to conduct a thorough inspection of their house before signing any contracts. During our cleaning, we discovered overspray on the glass doors, windows, and countertops, as well as some cracked cabinets and leaking plumbing drains. On a positive note, the neighborhood is very beautiful, and the friendly neighbors help ease some of these concerns. ... More

Construction inspections very low quality. Sloppy and lost trust in the inspection manager. Many cosmetic complaints and had to pull teeth for adjustments. Would recommend Lennar evaluating their construction manager and their definition of what quality is.

Great experience with Adrianne, our sales consultant. To this day, it is so special to see her in the community. She has stayed friendly with us and has graciously introduced us to our neighbors. We had some difficulties with construction following up on items. We were rushed to close on December 31 with several outstanding items; particularly landscaping agreements between Lennar and the HOA. The agreement was for the builder to clean up the "buffer" area between the lot line and the golf course. This took lots of phone calls and follow up from folks that are not part of your construction team. The area was mowed, but the agreed upon installation of pine straw has not been completed as of today. I also was not impressed with the quality of the build. You can tell people were rushed to do their jobs as painting was sloppy. There was a safety hazard with the glass shower that we had to have fixed. The support for the glass was being held by a drywall anchor, and fell out of ceiling pretty easily when the glass was removed. Some other small things that were not considered are; no light in the guest bathroom shower, the master closet door should have been placed to open on the opposite side to provide more working space and no vanity lights in the bathroom are just some of this issues we have uncovered. The appliances are cheap and will most likely have to be replaced in the near future, specifically the dishwasher and washer/dryer. Overall, we are somewhat pleased. Before you close, take your time to look at the home with a magnifying glass because there are many careless mistakes, issues that it will overwhelm you after closure. You will not only be dealing with your move but also requesting repairs so many issues and keeping up with all the trades services that will have to come to your home to fix the issues. Ease look at painted walls, outlets, cabinets, appliances, garage door.... Please take your time because it will save you many headaches.

Buying a home can be very overwhelming and Lennar did well at streamlining the process. I just felt very misled after I signed the commitment letter and made my down payment. Things I were told were included were in fact not included. Things I was told would be addressed prior to inspections were not and were just brushed off as “easy fixes”. I had to send documents back several times for incorrect numbers. My sales agent went MIA after he got the commitment letter from me. I couldn’t access my mail for a week and a half because there was finger pointing on who had my key. Ultimately we are happy in our home now but I would recommend a new buyer not let them rush you through and fully READ everything yourself down to the smallest details. ... More

Landscape issue not fully resolved as reported before moving in, which should have allowed for down pmt to be refunded. Pressured to close. Hoping that community involvement will make the home buying experience worth the investment. AM grateful for having been offered a reduction in price to accommodate seller motivation to complete present development.

I was familiar with lennar homes because family members had purchased homes with lennar. However the buying experience was less than ideal. The selling agent, lennar lenders, title company... none were on one accord. We kept getting conflicting information regarding the closing date, what we needed to close, etc. Once we moved in, we realized that issues that we were told would be fixed before closing had not been addressed. The stove did not work, a piece of the refrigerator was missing that was present during our walk through, the kitchen sink had scratches that were not present during the walk through. The interior paint has splotches and random paint drops on the floor and glue on some of the tiles that we have not been able to clean off the tile, and some cracked tiles. The grout on the floor tiles are different colors, and when it rains the sliding glass door leaks. These are just some of the issues that we have noticed so far. We plan to have a warranty inspection done soon to see what other issues there might be, although I am not holding my breath that the "warranty " will apply to these issues. Also, we were charged for electricity and water bill for the three months prior to closing (refund still pending). Overall, this is not the experience that I was hoping for. The only positive thing is that the neighborhood is gorgeous, well maintained and quiet. Hopefully we will be able to fix the problems with the house without too much of a hit to our budget and eventually make it feel like home. I had a lot of issues with the house they promise everything was going to be fixed by the closing date, then a month after still issues. I understand you built a lot of houses at once but you can’t turn your back to quality and good finishes. This is my second lennar I don’t think I’ll have a third one

From the mortgage process all the way to completion...a huge joke. Won't respond to messages. Won't acknowledge things not on original walk through that was a rush job. Made a repair that is now messed up again....

Not caring, no following up.

I have a villa on Gable Dig loop. The single car garage could have been bigger. Drive way could have been bigger. Few guest parking spot could have been done for villa owner.its a 55+ community. No one would like to go to clubhouse to park the car for guest in Florida’s hot weather. Still builder can help building few guest parking spots on every street. These looks small issues but it’s not for 55+ people.

I am very disappointed with the quality of materials and finished products that I received from Lennar.
