My experience with Lennar has been a blessing and I am amazed on how the process was almost effortless and very efficient. Yuki and Jennifer the loan officer was very nice and responded promptly to my emails and calls. I, for sure don't have buyers remorse.

I have owned several homes in my lifetime. Some new builds and some resales. NEVER have had such a terrible experience as with this home. When I wasn’t being ignored; I was being lied to. I have done my best to patiently work through the Lennar process but at this point I am all out of nice.

Very disappointed with Lennar. Everything in the house looks like low quality. The walls are paper thin. You can hear everything. Doors are extremely light weight. Only one internet port in the whole house. Sprinklers don’t work from day 1. When asked was told its not covered under warranty.

My new house is a bundle of issues. Starting from the exterior to the the interior of the bathrooms every part of the issue had bunch of issues. There were so many bulges and dips in the every room whereever there is carpet. The issue was raised before closing and is not fixed yet. The carpet and the padding inside the carpet are so cheap. Beneath the carpet we found trash, the people who did that didn’t even care to vacuum the area before installing the carpet. This is my 2nd & last Lennar home purchase. The quality of the workmanship was beyond horrible this time around and this home cost was $90k more than the 1st one. I've lived in apartments where the attention to the builders detail way surpassed the work of Lennar & their Trades. They do not care about attention to detail. The communication at Lennar Title is also horrible. My Realtor and I had to reach out numerous times to get a closing date and time. On closing day workers were still working on my home. In the beginning we had a few hiccups but everyone was available and supportive; however the bad experience started on the first day of the walk/ through when I was told it had to be done on a particular day and many things were not completed in the home. Since that day it has been an unpleasant experience. I finally realized no one cares once you’ve signed on the dotted line.

I am not a happy Lennar Customer! Too many issues to list here. It's exhausting. Poor communication, paid way too much for the quality of the home--materials, appliances, workmanship, quality or lack thereof, slapdash finishes, severely poor responsiveness, lack of integrity and more. All of this wears you down and leaves you angry and stuck.

Home buying experience was ok. Our Mortgage Loan officer was Amazing and our job site Superintendent is amazing. However, the quality of this homes is cheap and with no taste at all. Materials are cheap, kitchen Granite is ugly, Master Shower is cheap and you don't get to choose any other details or make any changes to your own home. Appliances are cheap too. So you are paying $401K for $100K value home. Very sad!

Really bad quality of the construction and lack of quality controls

The builder does not have any kind of quality controls. One month after closing, we have experienced all kinds of plumbing and electrical issues, not to mention so many items not fixed since closing. The house is in a really bad shape, e.g. cracked window/bathtub/grout etc. considering the price tag. The service request is submitted through an online system. Once submitted, you will need to wait to schedule a remote discussion with a representative, who will then transfer the ticket, each step could take several days to weeks.

I would never buy another Lennar home

Hi, This is my third lennar home, but my experience of buying of third lennar home was really bad that I would never buy another home from lennar. I had primary home and investment home from lennar prior to this...they were forcing me to close home with open drywalls and lot of work pending. Can you imagine closing home and some attorney coming to your home on Saturday evening 9PM to close home ? They forced me to do this although still pending items. They said If I dont close it today I will lose my 10% security deposit and my interest rate will go up even my rate lock doesn't expire ...

A lot of issue and they haven’t got back to me again

Well, the first week of living in the house, a lot of nails on the rug that my wife got cut on her feet. Another issue is where you put the towels broke off and most of them are loose. I try contact the person in charge of the warranty, but never got back to me. I’m missing a screen on my second floor. They never got back to me again about it there’s a lot of minor issue, but no one has got back to me

I have been waiting for them to fix things for over a month now. My yard continues to flood they left a tree up in the back yard that is touching my house we paid for a premium lot and did not receive that. We are unable to even use our backyard due to the water rhe back yard retains. I am not gonna eat these cost for a 400k plus home. The home was rushed and there were many issues not tended to. Lennar knew the yard flooded Jamar said I may need French drains. Which tells me lennar knows about the flooding issue. As a first time home owner i wish I never dealt with lennar at this point. ...

This is by far the worst new home experience ever, due to the fact that the home was poorly done and rush with missing cabinets in which I have to wait until Feb to get finished, poor and sloppy job on the interior painting in which half of the wall were not even touch and had to paint myself. Don’t buy here! My home was not cleaned and there were 19 items that needed to be repaired or were issues. The light over my shower was missing. There was a light switch but no light. The place was dirty. Contractor work was sloppy , paint spills, door sills, missing bolts in cabinet, no sill on granite countertops, I’ve had houses built before in Maryland, but I’ve never experienced anything like this before. They rushed to get the houses up too fast and did not pay attention to detail. I love this model, I just wish the construction was better.

We had a wonderful sales, mortgage and title experience with Lennar. But once we moved in there are sooooo many issues inside of our house. EX: Dishwasher broke after 3 days and we've been moved in now 2 months and still not addressed. Tile has spots on it throughout the entire house, pavers are pulling away from front porch and I could go on and on. Tried to contact their customer support person for our community and doesn't return calls without calling their manager but still NO issues resolved. I went in to this experience with Lennar with an open mind even though I read many bad reviews. In the beginning it was good and everything was progressing nicely. Then it hit dates changed multiple times which led to us being homeless for some time. Then we finally closed and it was evident that there was no detail to attention but we were promised it would be taken care quickly. Now two months in and I believe I have set the record for warranty ticket which the majority of them are not resolved. In short I will never but another Lennar home if I have a choice.

Quality of workmanship and materials are very poor. After an initial evaluation of the home, issues were notified ahead of time. The builder manager agreed to solve the issues and by surprise, the manager changed the mind and didn’t complete any updates as requested. After spending several thousands, I had to close with many defects in the home. Lennar didn’t complete the initial walkthrough issues identified and after two months of the closing, they haven’t fixed all issues. The appliances could have been better. The dishwasher was billed as stainless steel but is plastic inside. I had to deal with problems like cracked tiles that were grouted in even tho cracked, a dead tree in front and setting up the security by myself. Spectrum was the worst. After 3 appointments a troubleshooter was sent and all was done.

Lennar only cares about closings. Our house was not even close to being ready to close, but Lennar insisted that it was going to close. It took three weeks after closing before the house was clean enough to occupy. Paint, drywall compound and grout were all over the tile. Paint and stains were in the carpet. Installer cut lines and marks were and still are in the tile. Gas was not turned on for the dryer; hot water was not connected to the dish washer.
