While I do not believe my home is a disaster, I do feel there is a culture of doing questionable work for the sake of turning a sale quickly and then returning to resolve the initial lazy and sloppy work. Our builder told us he was in our home quite a lot during the build, but he failed to faithfully audit his teams work. What the SINGLE MOST OFFENSIVE thing he did was cause damage to the doorway the day of our closing and was not responsive to fixing the damage. Once you walk up the stairs and the upper floor. The wood squeaks, the paint job is mediocre. Once I moved in I started to notice wood clippings, where they just painted over them. So from one to ten in the satisfaction of my purchase. I give it a 3

Overall, the Lennar home includes several nice upgrades, but they will NOT add a thing, even if you are willing to pay for it. This is very frustrating. Secondly - and buyer beware on this - warranty service has been a nightmare. There is very little follow up once a warranty ticket has been initiated. The reps do not respond to e-mails or voice mails. Vendor appointments are missed completely with no warning or explanation. My Lennar experience

Where should I start, the construction manager promised to complete several jobs and did not. They forgot to turn on the water to the fridge and had to wait for service. The person that installed the dishwasher, left the cap in the tubing and caused water to flood and backup in the dishwasher. Had to wait to have that serviced. Had to replace the carpeting due to have a sinus reaction, to find out the flooring underneath was un-level and had to pay to have concrete lay down. Now, the AC breaker keeps tripping and I come home to a muggy hot house.

This is our third Lennar home and it will be the last! The quality of workmanship is very poor. The response to our issues is slow. A lot of promises were made. Even the mortgage side was a bit disappointing!

This has been a heck of a ride. The Lennar salesperson is great to deal with. Very charismatic and attentive. Unfortunately, as the salesperson, his work doesn't continue up to actual ownership and that is where the problem with Lennar lies. I highly suggest that if you buy from Lennar to get your own third-party inspector involved in the building process as soon as possible. There will be issues, trust me. Communication was not the best. The morning of closing, was told we might not get the home due to documents that were needed and not told to us until day of closing. Did not get a lot of information from Lennar rep. Thing that are supposed to get fixed still are not and can’t get ahold of correct person to do so. Will recommend due to beautiful homes but will no recommend due to lack of communication

Lennar makes a great final product… if it ever gets finished. Lennar forced us to move into our house early when there was a list of at least 28 items long incomplete. That includes broken cabinets and glass, holes in walls and electrical problems. We move in a month ago and have maybe brought the list down to 26 items. Lennar sold an unfinished product just so its management can receive bonus. Dirty business. Home once complete I’m sure will be beautiful.

In my opinion, lennar rushes through walk through and there is a lack of supervision while the house is being built. A house should only be allowed to be sold if perfect. Total lack of crafmanship....

Painting was terrible on the doors. Drips everywhere. Paint overspray on fixtures, paint on every hinge. Excess caulk around entire floor. Still fixing issues.

Overall it was a below average buying experience with a few bright spots (personnel) alone the way. Home was delayed four months and quality was subpar. Upon completion, it seems lennar took many shortcuts on these homes. They didn’t provide basics for homes such as doorbells, lights in the front of the house and basic countertops. This is our second lennar home and our first was way better at a much lower price point. This will probably be our last.

Alot of work had to be done in the house,after closing as the workmanship is so poor.We still have a hole in our foundation needing to be fixed and our fence has still not been put v up as promised nor has the grass been re graded or a retention wall placed as promised.Itvis a nice community but buyer beware.

The buying process and went well. There were small issues that were addressed with the home itself. Bigger issues have not been resolved and I feel I am being ignored by Lennar. A construction worker broke a sprinkler head, I told Lennar but nothing was done. Due to the busted head, my water bill was extremely high. I was told Lennar would reimburse me but needed to provide 3 bills. I did and never heard anything back. Two trees in my front yard died and the house was not 4 months old when it happened. It was not that easy as I assumed to buy a home with Lennar, very poor and little cooperation from seller and especially the mortgage team.Due to the unavailability of the Mortgage person i had to go with higher rate of interest. Very little information was provided on house construction status and have refused to change closing date to 2 days before due to my availability. Apart from it I have referred 5 of my friends who bought the house and no referral bonus was provided. The issues addressed during the orientation were not even addressed. Overall it was a bad experience.

So the sales process is very easy. Great mortgage rate towards the closing costs. Now here is where it goes sideways. We had a leak in the laundry room, all a Lennar issue. Took them 6 weeks to deal with it and it is still not fixed. Tiling issue in the kitchen, not yet resolved. Would I buy again, no, this is not a good company and the price reflects that they cut corners everywhere!!!!
