Buying a home can be very overwhelming and Lennar did well at streamlining the process. I just felt very misled after I signed the commitment letter and made my down payment. Things I were told were included were in fact not included. Things I was told would be addressed prior to inspections were not and were just brushed off as “easy fixes”. I had to send documents back several times for incorrect numbers. My sales agent went MIA after he got the commitment letter from me. I had a lot of issues with the house they promise everything was going to be fixed by the closing date, then a month after still issues. I understand you built a lot of houses at once but you can’t turn your back to quality and good finishes. This is my second lennar I don’t think I’ll have a third one

We’ve had an okay experience. A lot of the finishes are cheaper quality with things missing like towel racks, toilet paper holders etc that you don’t realize won’t come with it. The way they dramatically slope the small sides of the home also just make mud pits on both sides of your house and our neighbors are having the same issues. We’re on the edge of the path and Lennar still hasn’t put sod down on the path along our yard so it’s another mud pit now overrun with weeds.

I still do not have items repaired. I missed my closing due to the home not being done. I was misled numerous time and I have no trust in the construction team. My sales rep was just that a sales person. Made many promises that never was every followed up on after the purchase

It has been a long hard struggle just getting the house. There were many set backs, which could have been avoided. Now that I am in the house, 2 appliances have failed on me, and it seems that I have to pay for the repair which again, was avoidable. The paint on the walls is so thin that I wiped it off just cleaning a stain on the wall

At the beginning of the purchase, everything went smoothly and fast. When closing came the house was inspected and a few things were defective. The workers had left broken tiles on the roof some were replaced but not all of them. The laundry room had a bad connecting outlet for the washer machine we had to replace. My refrigerator had no water nor ice coming out they promised it would immediately get fixed here We are two month later and no one has been able to fix it, Apparently the water hose was never connected to the water line under the kitchen sink. Response to arising issues is poor, new community information in non-existent and the entire area need to be kept cleaner. The home construction workmanship needs extra attention to details for smaller issues that are important. I have several small home fixes that need done and I’m not getting a timely response for a fix?

The design is great. However, the lack of a thorough inspection by Lennar construction team and/or contractors have masked a lot of obvious issues. HVAC room not sealed properly, gaps in door framing, lumps in carpet, nails sticking out, uneven tiles, to name a few.

We closed on home 2 months ago and still require over a Dozen repairs to be addressed and one is security related. Have made numerous requests to have these items repaired. Seems that Lennar is focused on mass production instead of Quality. Overall, we love the neighbor's and facility attributes.

Where I can start? Beginning the mortgage process was a nightmare, they always give me a different number than the first time, at the end we agreed in the condition but was not that I expected. Then, the house build, they make me close my house end of November, the house was finish end of December, that’s crazy. The neighborhood is great and the house is beautiful, however the process was a nightmare and they could be better with us.

Don’t buy here! My home was not cleaned and there were 19 items that needed to be repaired or were issues. The light over my shower was missing. There was a light switch but no light. The place was dirty. Contractor work was sloppy , paint spills, door sills, missing bolts in cabinet, no sill on granite countertops, I’ve had houses built before in Maryland, but I’ve never experienced anything like this before. They rushed to get the houses up too fast and did not pay attention to detail. I love this model, I just wish the construction was better.

Lennar only cares about closings. Our house was not even close to being ready to close, but Lennar insisted that it was going to close. It took three weeks after closing before the house was clean enough to occupy. Paint, drywall compound and grout were all over the tile. Paint and stains were in the carpet. Installer cut lines and marks were and still are in the tile. Gas was not turned on for the dryer; hot water was not connected to the dish washer. We like our home a lot but somethings were done poorly, We had a broken cabinet when we moved in and called customer service someone said they would come fix it but never did and frankly we shouldn't have anything broken in a brand new home. We had a few other hiccups but overall we like our home and our community.

My salesperson was very friendly and responsive. The communication as an out of state buyer was sufficient, but once she handed us off to the warranty people it’s all been downhill. Poor responsiveness, people leaving and now I don’t know who my contacts are. Outstanding work that should have been done prior to closing. As far as my experience it’s been ok however, I feel like Lennar needs major improvement on their customer service/interaction with their customers, we need to provide better quality materials and do a better job on the cleanliness of a brand new home once completed. I wasn’t happy with my garage door / motor, as they promised it would be a good quality garage door/opener and I received the lowest possible garage door / motor. Lennar needs to give the customer more options and selections on picking colors and materials.

Communication was poor among the different professionals who I was working with during the home buying process (consultant, loan officer, construction manager, etc.). As soon as I closed, my consultant stopped responding to any emails for assistance with simple issues. There are a number of things that I have found after my initial walkthrough, within my first month of living her (i.e., cracked cabinets, paint flaws, grout flaws) that should have been done right in the first place that are frustrating to deal with now.
