The experience is real bad,first the sales person woman was rude ,after complaining to her supervisor it became good. The loan officer lady Rachel Davies is real pain and very rude. After closing the house we observed multiple issues.including door and cabinet needs to be replaced and it is almost 45 days still the doors and cabinets not replaced. Over all it is a very bad experience with Lennar.

Overall it was an okay experience. Unfortunately the excitement that comes with buying a home for the first time was deflated a bit when arrived to our home. It was painfully clear that sub-contractors were not held to any sort of standard resulting very poor craftsmanship. QA/QC was not conducted to standard by Lennar’s construction manager. I would like to have gotten the same quality of workmanship that was in the model home. I'm sorry to say that didn't happen and even though they made many many promises to make things right, I know that it won't happen. They only make money by building new homes, not by fixing their mistakes. It makes me sad to know that the quality is not getting any better and they really don't care.

I had a great expectations based on the previous reviews from the homebuyers, team and support was great but the carpentry was no where near the expectation, hope they change the carpenter or ask the team to improve the work and get the things done perfectly rather than going with a workaround fixes. There are a lot of places where we can't see unless if we bend, those are the places where they wantedly skip the work or if it is done, that is just a work around! I have raised a lot of carpentry request post moving in, its been more than a month, there are no fixes applied yet!

The paint job mostly on the inside of the home was the worst I ever experienced. There are whole strips of wall not painted. They missed along the base boards, corners and doors. I tried to get it touched up by they still did a sloppy job missing most areas. During the walk through the Lennar rep used blue painter tape to also mark missed areas. It appears the painters just took down the blue tape and didn't touch up all missed spots. Every neighbor has complied about the interior painting. Even your own reps said it was poor. Some issues were not were not resolve without several phone calls, emails, or requests for repairs. Issues with ouside were not resolved at closing and finger was pointed to HOA who pointed responsibility back to Lennar

Customer service from Lennar has to improve a lot compared to other builders. This Lennar home is my 3rd home in Tampa and had better customer experience from other builders. For eg: During mortgage approval, Lennar was not flexible to give me options to decide. the representative was very insisting on one option and was always late to respond to queries. another example is Lennar closed the home without appliances in place and took nearly a month to instal. Several outstanding warranty issues have not been resolved nor any attempt to fix them. Deena my construction manager and warranty contact will not respond and fix MANY ITEMS THAT WERE NOTED SINCE PRIOR TO MOVE IN DATE. the quality of home is not up to the mark, closing was rush. There are many things that are not fixed, done, or ready upon the closing of the homes. After moving in, a lot of issues were found and took almost a month to fix most of things.

While the purchasing part was easy smooth and fun the moving in was the most stressful. I will explain why. I moved in with a lot of cosmetic issues. The paint was poorly done inside and out. Whoever touched up the paint did not use the same color and I have spots everywhere in the house. The guest bathtub had a giant Tiger claw scratch. The cabinet draw will not close. The sales rep was responsive and patient with all my questions as a first time home owner. Other than that I found the closing and move in process a disappointment. During new home walkthrough my house was a complete mess and not at all ready for closing. There was no paint or carpet, people were working where I was supposed to be inspecting, there were major electrical issues, the wash machine and dishwasher did not work, a worker even had food in the refrigerator and freezer. There were things that we were satisfied with. In our final walkthrough some of the discrepancies were taken care, some were not. I understand the warranty section and having to wait until we got on the list to get those things fixed. But, the other stuff like touch ups that were marked with tape didn’t get taken care of. We had good experience from sales to closing process and then the final walk-through with the On-site Customer Care Manager. Everything was great until we had to submit a service request and dealt with a Lennar Customer Care Rep from Tampa Care center. This person became very hostile and rude when she couldn't answer my questions. Not only she yelled and accused me of yelling while I was speechless, she continued to bully me to shut me up. Very bad care services. I am very reluctant to deal with Lennar Care center now.
