Lennar - There were several issues with our home upon move in which we

There were several issues with our home upon move in which we were told would be taken care of. We had to continuously contact customer care and the construction manager to complete tasks that were not completed as promised. We had a ticket opened due to a cracked cabinet and back splash prior to closing date. The ticket was closed without being addressed or us being contacted. I had to continously reach out to customer care to figure out why the ticket was closed without the work being completed and they weren't able to tell me who closed the ticket or why. Our cabinets are still not fixed. ...

I purchased a new built and was promised during closing if there is any problem we will be out to fix it. A lot of below standards. 2 months in cabinets are falling off and apparently it’s a problem in the entire neighborhood along with drainage issues around the houses. No one wants to properly fix anything of or it takes months to get someone to come out to the house.

Lennar - I was promised warranty work on my house and they even dropped

I was promised warranty work on my house and they even dropped off the materials. While the house next to me was getting constructed they got stucco on my house and they didn’t fix it. Greg the Knowologest was amazing. He got everything fixed for me and called me the next day. The new knowologest took over and is horrible. Before Greg let he said the GC would fix the paint and the GC never did. No the new knowologest said he not going to fix it. While buying the house the waiting until the last day to say they needed documents to close. They have 3 weeks and waited until the last day. The ...

During my initial walk through I found several issues to include a/c not working, toilet not working and several cosmetic issues prior to closing. The worst thing I found was someone had used and spilled something in my microwave and urine on my master bedroom toilet. I was in complete shock and disgusted and the construction manager, Mark, was made aware of these findings prior to move in. The day of closing the house seemed in order but the toilet was supposedly being replaced and when I mentioned to the construction manager that the a/c was still on the same number he said it was fine and ...

Our experience continues to be exhausting and frustrating. We had a 9 page punch list on the first walk through which was not addressed by the closing date. Being in the house for almost two months we are still waiting to get things corrected that should have never been issues if the builder used common sense. The issue costing us, is our AC is not working properly through out the house costing us high electrical bills. Light switches did not work, had to paint the entire house inside and out, seals on all windows had to be replaced, still waiting on hardware for the hurricane shutters. ...

This home buying experience has been a total nightmare. Everything from poor workmanship to electrical, plumbing, door issues, etc. We closed 2 months ago and still have multiple issues that have not been taken care of. In addition, we found out after we closed on our house that Lennar does not include screen doors on the patio doors! We purchase them from C&C window for $720.00. When they went to install them on the triple slider, they couldn't install because the door frame was installed incorrectly. C&C replaced the door jam and installed the screens but in the process ripped out a ...

My home buying experience was not pleasant. From the start representatives tried to force me to use Lennar financing and threatened that I could lose my deposit if I went with another lender. From there it got worse. My closings date was chosen by Lennar and it did seem like there was any coordination with the construction side. A week before closing I have my orientation and the electrical had not been tested so there were no lights or AC and the water had not been tested with we could do a proper walkthrough. The day before closing I spoke with a representative from the construction side ...

Please take your time during your walk through. Everyone is moving 100MPH to get you to closing and lots of fine details are left out. We made the mistake of doing our closing the morning of our walk through...the men were still in our home "completing" the last-minute items which were still not done. Once you close, they are not timely in sending people to your home to repair. You go with many days and hours wasted of no one coming or calling you back. You get the round around of calling A, B and C because they are no longer responsible for those items you now need repaired in your BRAND new ...

finishing of corner areas and fine points sub-standard. shower had to be re-caulked after a few months. bath tub is noticably not square. i measured it 1/2" off. the dividing wall between shower and tub is also crooked. noticable gaps between floor and bathroom cabinets. House was not cleaned prior to move-in. Window holes are also not cut square. Just waiting for something major to break as AC units, washing machines, and crown moldings issues are already happening in other homes in the neighborhood. I found it extremely frustrating that the walk thru time is dictated by lennar and not the buyer. I asked them to send me a calendar invite and was told " we don't do that". My experience with david weeklyvwas amazing and they worked with the buyer. Lennar has a very military like feel to the home buying experience. I wanted a different front door and was told no, I wanted different colored cabinets and was told no. " we at lennar don't do that" is what I was told. In my humble opinion Lennar is a turn and burn company in regards to their buyers. Lennar just cares about the sale. However my ...

Closing on the house was a stressful situation in itself. I've had several issues inside and outside of my house to include quality of craftsmanship and quality of material. My door frame has been split since before moving in but I could not see due to the builder painting over the split in the frame until recently due to opening/closing the door on a regular basis and the paint wearing off. The drainage in the yard has been an ongoing since I moved in.

They concentrated too much on mass production and just getting to closing!

They do not check houses, appliances, smart devices, etc. enough before closing. They think it is best to just wait for the buyer to complain after closing, and then they try to be “customer friendly” but they are usually too busy to take care of the many problems that should have been taken care of before closing, Most appliances our of the lower value.

Really wish they would've taken there time more. You can really tell the house was rushed with quality of workmanship. I would've liked to move into a new house and not a 90% complete house. The first month was nothing but people coming fixing holes, texturing walls, painting, stucco repair, washing machine flooding, two windows not opening, damaged cabinets, missing/damaged molding, etc. It was quite irritating having tradesman in our house fixing things on a house that wasn't finished. Unfortunately with my kids starting their new school 3 days after the scheduled closing we had no ...

The house itself is nice and a good value for the money. The process of buying the house from the mortgage lender all the way through the celebration and acceptance had MUCH to be desired. Issues riddled throughout the entire process. Warranty claims had to be reopened because they were incorrectly denied. Several issues were found during the celebration walk and none of which were addressed before the home acceptance. The only person that kept their word through the entire process was the sales agent, Dennis. Even when I told him of some of the issues that I was having he jumped right in to ...

My bad experience was with Lennar Mortgage. With proof of employment, excellent credit and a generous down payment, they were not able to past the fact that my employer would not provide proof of remote employment. It was so frustrating that I paid cash for the house just not to have to deal with them. As far as the workmanship - overall, the house is fine but there are a list of issues where they just got lazy and did not check their own work.
