It was a great experience to see your home being built from ground up. Our new home consultant Stephanie was great and kept us up to date. Closing day was a little hard because they had so many homes to close on the same day and were behind, house was not 100% completed but they did come and finish it within the week. Small things like mirrors, shelves and screens.

As far as my experience it’s been ok however, I feel like Lennar needs major improvement on their customer service/interaction with their customers, we need to provide better quality materials and do a better job on the cleanliness of a brand new home once completed. I wasn’t happy with my garage door / motor, as they promised it would be a good quality garage door/opener and I received the lowest possible garage door / motor. Lennar needs to give the customer more options and selections on picking colors and materials.

Working with the sales agent was a pleasant experience. However, Lennar was rushing me to close on a home that wasn’t ready for move in and 2 months later I’m still chasing after people to fix things that should’ve been done prior to closing.

The loan office -Rachel was amazing. While the process was long I totally understood why. The team was amazing. While I am still finding small issues here and there, my rep Jon from customer service has been very responsive so that has been great.

Cheaper than other builder you get a lot of appliances at no cost but then he cannot change other things

Substantial unreimbursed costs associated with multiple closing commitment delays. Terrible painting and painting followup.

Lennar is wonderful with their explanations through the process, during the process, and the customer care team is there to assist you after the process. Love this team

We have been in the home for about 2 months and so far haven’t had any issues, and any that we did have were taken cared of very quickly

Construction manager was very responsive to our questions, post closing. Suggestion: at closing, all incomplete work documented and signed by Lennar rep. And buyers as done by GL homes. This would alleviate buyer anxiety.

There is a lot I could unpack here. 5 month delays, miscommunication, lack of communication, and being ignored. From sales to financing this entire team seems like no one has the right information...and those that do fail to communicate. The house itself is fine...but working with Lennar people is an exercise in frustration. They *say* they will answer your texts and return calls. They dont. They say welcome to the Lennar Family. Well this is a family that only sees each other on occasion and rarely speaks...

Delays in construction. The quality is terrible. We were made to do a walkthrough of the townhouse when there was absolutely nothing ready. They took another 4 weeks to complete. If that was known to the folks working there why would they schedule and walkthrough and try to close just to show the numbers at the end of month? Had roof leak on the first rain after moving in. Great response to attend that but being quality builder this is not acceptable.

I wish communication with sales agent was easier. On several occasions, we had to initiate communication. Even if sales agent doesnt have answers, Im ok with that - but that needs to be communicated.

A lot wrong after closing. Rushed to close then slow to fix problems

The builder uses low quality trades, makes numerous mistakes, and hires staff with no relevant construction experience. They fail to keep their word on basically everything, workers do not show up when scheduled, and, overall, Lennar is the McDonald’s of buying a house. Absolute garbage.

Great overall experience took us 3 weeks to close

We bought this house for a family member. There were so many issues with it at the walk through we were told by their foreman Jake that it could take weeks to get it finished. I explained to Jake, Ray, the salesman and the person at the walk through that since we lived out of town we would require 72 hours notice to plan a trip back to do the final walk through before closing. The closing was scheduled for less than a week away. They all said ok, we understand. Fast forward a few days and we are told that even if they don't get anything done inside the house we would be closing on the specified day and they would just address the issues under warranty. I was not happy with that option but I was told that I would be held in default of the contract and lose my $50k+deposit even though they weren't done, if we didnt close when they wanted. The upstairs closet door actually opens into another door and uses the other door frame is its door stop. Terrible design there and the same for the office door downstairs Jake, the construction foreman is extremely rude. Horrible people, horrible company. So sorry to have met them. ... More

For a home that was over 1/2 a million dollars, the quality and craftsmanship were not there. Things never added up to what the builder was thinking from the landscaping (who puts really big trees right next to one's house and expects there not to be a problem 10 years down the road), Even the kitchen looked like someone brought in a bathroom with the subway tile backsplash in which we asked not to be put in. The outside of our home is not painted in the proper color scheme as indicated in the design plans. The master bathroom shower has a small shower head on one side of the shower and 80+ inches on the other wall is the shower bench in which the water from the shower head never reaches the bench. The shower door in the master bathroom lacks sealant and water goes all over the floor. The Master bathroom has Cabinet Shells but nothing inside and no way to organize the things that might go under the sink. Laundry room lacks functionality as the cabinets are too small. The Kitchen Sink was a single stainless steel sink 14 1/2" by 22"....could not even put a big pot into it and lacked functionality of a normal sink. Overall closet space is very limited. For a new house, I expected to pay a bit to add my family touch to it but 25,000 to sink in is a bit ridiculous as I had to remove the bathroom from the kitchen (got rid of the white subway tile, removed all carpet and put in tile, Cut the white quartz counter top to accommodate a bigger sink that provides functionality. Installed a Shower Panel to get water flow to the bench (barely gets there but 1billion % better than the small shower head. Still waiting to properly fix the color scheme of the house. Have to pay someone and ask HOA for permission to remove the soon to be big trees from the house all together to prevent problems with foundation and/or sprinkler system. Sigh...the list keeps growing and I just am left asking Whomever designed this home and layout must have been higher than high. ... More

There are a lot of little things in the house that look rushed like floor tiles not level and raised in areas. Our staid have a good finger width gap between the wall and the stairs and the carpet was laid on top of it hiding the error but my 2 year old found it. The downstairs hot and cold were switched so the cold is actually hot and the hot is actually cold. When buying the house we seemed to be told one thing by someone and then another by someone else so the process was stressful when it could have been very streamlined. We were told by a couple of people who would take over in the process next and it always seemed different than what we were told. One or 2 people throughout the entire process would be much more beneficial and less confusing. Waiting until the day before we closed in the house to get approval for the loan is unacceptable and that practice needs to be better because some people give up their rentals they have when they get a move in date at 30-45days out. Underwriting shouldn’t take that long. If it comes down to manning then perhaps slowing down production would help ensure better craftsmanship and help the administration side of things as well. ... Very good . Very fast. Excelente atention

Our sales representative and construction manager were very nice however you could tell there was too much on their plate. I constantly had to call to get updates. There was very little proactive updates sent to me. Quality of craftsmanship is embarrassing. Our new house orientation was a joke. We took 3 hours marking mistakes instead of going through how to manage our house.

Communication was poor among the different professionals who I was working with during the home buying process (consultant, loan officer, construction manager, etc.). As soon as I closed, my consultant stopped responding to any emails for assistance with simple issues. There are a number of things that I have found after my initial walkthrough, within my first month of living her (i.e., cracked cabinets, paint flaws, grout flaws) that should have been done right in the first place that are frustrating to deal with now.
