It was a great experience to see your home being built from ground up. Our new home consultant Stephanie was great and kept us up to date. Closing day was a little hard because they had so many homes to close on the same day and were behind, house was not 100% completed but they did come and finish it within the week. Small things like mirrors, shelves and screens.

As far as my experience it’s been ok however, I feel like Lennar needs major improvement on their customer service/interaction with their customers, we need to provide better quality materials and do a better job on the cleanliness of a brand new home once completed. I wasn’t happy with my garage door / motor, as they promised it would be a good quality garage door/opener and I received the lowest possible garage door / motor. Lennar needs to give the customer more options and selections on picking colors and materials.

Working with the sales agent was a pleasant experience. However, Lennar was rushing me to close on a home that wasn’t ready for move in and 2 months later I’m still chasing after people to fix things that should’ve been done prior to closing.

I just love everything about my new home, from the front to the back, and the sides, it's perfect especially for 2 people, the construction makes it very spacious in the living and dining area, with vaulted ceilings.

Construction manager was very responsive to our questions, post closing. Suggestion: at closing, all incomplete work documented and signed by Lennar rep. And buyers as done by GL homes. This would alleviate buyer anxiety.

There is a lot I could unpack here. 5 month delays, miscommunication, lack of communication, and being ignored. From sales to financing this entire team seems like no one has the right information...and those that do fail to communicate. The house itself is fine...but working with Lennar people is an exercise in frustration. They *say* they will answer your texts and return calls. They dont. They say welcome to the Lennar Family. Well this is a family that only sees each other on occasion and rarely speaks...

Delays in construction. The quality is terrible. We were made to do a walkthrough of the townhouse when there was absolutely nothing ready. They took another 4 weeks to complete. If that was known to the folks working there why would they schedule and walkthrough and try to close just to show the numbers at the end of month? Had roof leak on the first rain after moving in. Great response to attend that but being quality builder this is not acceptable.

The builder uses low quality trades, makes numerous mistakes, and hires staff with no relevant construction experience. They fail to keep their word on basically everything, workers do not show up when scheduled, and, overall, Lennar is the McDonald’s of buying a house. Absolute garbage.

We bought this house for a family member. There were so many issues with it at the walk through we were told by their foreman Jake that it could take weeks to get it finished. I explained to Jake, Ray, the salesman and the person at the walk through that since we lived out of town we would require 72 hours notice to plan a trip back to do the final walk through before closing. The closing was scheduled for less than a week away. They all said ok, we understand. For a home that was over 1/2 a million dollars, the quality and craftsmanship were not there. Things never added up to what the builder was thinking from the landscaping (who puts really big trees right next to one's house and expects there not to be a problem 10 years down the road), Even the kitchen looked like someone brought in a bathroom with the subway tile backsplash in which we asked not to be put in. There are a lot of little things in the house that look rushed like floor tiles not level and raised in areas. Our staid have a good finger width gap between the wall and the stairs and the carpet was laid on top of it hiding the error but my 2 year old found it. The downstairs hot and cold were switched so the cold is actually hot and the hot is actually cold. Our sales representative and construction manager were very nice however you could tell there was too much on their plate. I constantly had to call to get updates. There was very little proactive updates sent to me. Quality of craftsmanship is embarrassing. Our new house orientation was a joke. We took 3 hours marking mistakes instead of going through how to manage our house.

Communication was poor among the different professionals who I was working with during the home buying process (consultant, loan officer, construction manager, etc.). As soon as I closed, my consultant stopped responding to any emails for assistance with simple issues. There are a number of things that I have found after my initial walkthrough, within my first month of living her (i.e., cracked cabinets, paint flaws, grout flaws) that should have been done right in the first place that are frustrating to deal with now.
