I’ve been overall pretty disappointed with Lennar throughout the entire home buying process, even afterwards dealing with issues that continue to arise. As I ask around, I hear more and more how Tampa area Lennar has a bad reputation and I wish I knew that coming in.

Communication was the biggest problem working with Lennar. As a first-time homebuyer, my experience was ruined because of my sales rep. The title company also gave me poor service as well. I was called after 6 pm to close on my house at 8 pm because that day I wasn’t even sure If I would since I didn’t hear from anyone. So I didn’t leave the title company until 10 pm.

My wife and I were so excited about moving into our new townhouse in Florida. We were all prepared to turn key and settle in. We were not prepared for what we encountered when we arrived home after closing. I wish I could turn back time and wait on my close. Make sure you have everything complete before you sign. If Dillon is your construction manager, leave completely, he is not only incompetent, he is rude and unresponsive.

Will not buy a Lennar home again. Quality and craftsmanship no longer exist because its about producing as many cookie cutter homes as possible. Home River is a joke and the HOA cares more about a weed in someone's yard then the roads being filled with parked cars to where people cant get through or sometimes get out of the driveway in a safe manner. Numerous times the trash truck cannot get through so our trash sits full.

Disclosure about flood insurance and the rental townhomes directly across the street from my house we were never informed about these issues. If we had known we were in a rental community we would not have bought, the agent in the model was not informative.

Did not anticipate as many issues with a brand new construction which I continue to run into. It seems that the rush to build to sell these houses is a priority and attention to detail is not. I trusted Lennar to deliver a finished home to the expectation as identified when it was sold to me. That was not the case. From an unclean house to malfunctioning garage door is not what I expected when I set out to purchase a newly constructed house. Very disappointed.

If they wanted to know about my two-year consecutive employment history, why didn't they ask me at the beginning? We purchased a 6-year-old model in bad shape, Lennar didn't correct every warranty item, just a few of them. They refused provide information and keys to the home. Therefore, we needed to locksmith and get new lock and keys for $340.00, and same the pavers we did them for $250,00 in Nov. 2024. But Lennar never repaid us.

My experience so far with Lennar Triple Creek 50 QR, has been very negative. Mainly since moving into the home there has been a strong (methane/sulfur) odor problem in the house that has not yet been resolved. A work order submitted via the Lennar Home Warranty Portal, only to have it denied stating "not covered under warranty" Workmanship, materials and appliances are of poor quality, The home is not worth the price paid. I regret making this Lennar at Triple Creek 50 QR home purchase.

When looking at the home, we were told that ALL lawn and landscape maintenance was covered - lie. We were told that the gates would start to be closed for security - lie. On the day of closing I went to home to do another inspection and items like the cabinets that had scratches were not fixed. Was told that it will be done when I come back from closing. Never happened and it’s now been 2 months and I still haven’t gotten it fixed. So don’t sign until the items they need to fix is fix because then u will end up having to do the run around

Thought we made a good choice. Buying part was rough and a lot of bad information and uninformed people. Once moved in, if we communicate issues found, nobody cares or shows up to fix them. Really thought Lennar was better than this. Thought wrong.

The material used are cheap .. the wash mashing dryer and dish washer were cheap.. they put the filter for the air conditioner on the ceiling.. someone forget to tell them this is a retired community..

The experience has been an experience you do not want as a homeowner. It started with discouraging you from having a Realtor and getting a Lawyer. Get your home inspected as there are many flaws and some areas not completed to standards. You must take your time during the initial inspection of your home to include the outside landscaping area. So, there were multiple cracks on the masonry of our Lanai, it was hard to ignore. The construction manager kept saying it was within code. We had to put up quite the fuss, including consulting a lawyer to get them to fix the cracked Lanai on our supposed new house. Poor craftsmanship and low budget materials and design decisions. The sales team only cares about one thing; taking your money and the construction / install team do not take any pride in their work. The communication between all departments was terrible. They are all reactive and not proactive in more ways than one. If I had to do it all over again I would not buy a home with Lennar. I do not recommend this company and if know anyone considering in purchasing a home with Lennar I would advise them to reconsider.

The house was not cleaned at all prior to closing, and we were promised that things would be fixed in the days after our closing. We still have not had anyone come to our house to touch up the damaged walls and paint issues. The concrete driveway has FOOTPRINTS on it from the construction workers, but Lennar says 'its within tolerance' so nothing will be done about PERMANENT FOOTPRINTS in our concrete driveway. Horrible experience and will never buy Lennar again. Also the sales agent Yatsi is among the worst sales agents we have ever dealth with. Totally clueless.

Too many problems throughout the process. Starting out with many misinformation while dealing with the selling consultant. A significant amount of builder fee had not been told until after the down payment was made. Slow responses to requests throughout the entire process. Finance advisor was the worst, not being responsive, giving high mortgage rate and manipulating the closing disclosure to keep it high.
