My overall experience is fair.just had some issues regarding the date of delivery because the builder insisted on closing date even the home was not ready for leaving in it. Like painting,bathroom shower doors were not installed yet.

Unfortunately when we were about to moved in we had some issues that can cause delayed to moved in to our new home two weeks later after the closing day. We had to wait until the installed closet doors, for them to repair the cracked attic door inside the walk in closet, they delivered us dirty, dusty house, incomplete base board in bathroom, stained carpet in walking closet, loose dishwasher, hole behind the fridge.

Based on my personal experience and some of the fine people I have met in the neighborhood I wouldn't recommend Lennar! The home buying experience should be a joyful time in your life especially your retirement home and they took the joy out of the process and turned it into a nightmare and they can't give that back to my wife and I no matter how much the eventually try to correct the poor workmanship and fit and finish.

My experience with Lennar, it's been a nightmare to say the least from the beginning to the end. My first walk through was a disaster, no electricity and the house looked like been hit by a hurricane, 2nd walk through was not much better house was dirty patches on walls, carpet had paint and dry wall stains everywhere, doors and trims weren't finish, tiles in both showers needed to be replace, cabinets and pantry were missing shelves, all 3 pocket doors needed to be replaced and the list goes on. 4 months after closing we are still waiting for all this to be completed. I purchased a Lennar home, and understood that their would be issues with materials due to Covid-19. However, I was highly disappointed with the work and response to fix their mistakes. I still have a hole in the master bath, unfixed electrical, a broken front door, parts were stolen for other job sites, and more. Lennar’s motto is Quality homes built for you, which is a complete lie. I’ve had staff tell me well it’s a Lennar home, this is what you are buying. I’m very happy with the sales person he was super professional and helpful. Sales person was amazing but I am very disappointed with the contractor or who is in charge of the construction A lot of work was not done on the closing date of property and still not fix after almost 2 months for example,A few wall in the house have to be fix, plumbing part, painting still not done, few lights at the hall of the house still not installed.

Lennar does, under no circumstances, care about its buyers. They knowingly (construction manager admitted it) cut corners to get homes done in time. They then fail repeatedly to schedule contractors to fix the cut corners. Sales is an entirely different nightmare.

Persistence is key when dealing with Lennar. Will receive push back if items are not on “List,” upon move in. If persistent, issues will be fixed. Patience is needed. Overall, love the home. Just wish Lennar handled things differently & utilized better quality materials.

Everyone blames someone else, no one takes responsibility. They try to do the minimum and talk over you until you become so frustrated you either give up or walk away. The construction manager had no clue what was going on in our house. The paint was horrible inside and out, the grout had holes, the cabinets were rubbing and needed adjustment. The front door was crooked and the paint job was horrible. The garage door had no handle. All of our neighbors had similar issues. These are peoples homes...take pride in your work.

We were made several promises only to receive crafty excuses, repeatedly. Quality is lacking in so many aspects of this construction it's difficult to name them all. Attention to detail is minimal from Lennar subconstractors. Simply put, the Lennar Team lacks integrity.

Lennar insisted that they pay off my car with proceed from my sale in Atlanta. Payoff sent was 1000.00 over price and this money could have been put on mortgage. Lenders were VERY unresponsive, All of Lennars team except for one person in title were horrible at their job and never on the clock or in the office. Took more than 24hours for a return call and them they did not know anything.

Our best experience came with the team who met us at the home; the Construction Manager “C” who should in my opinion play a much bigger part with Lennar. The young man who did the walk through was fantastic and made us feel comfortable. Anna was very warm in person and helpful. We have NO love for your Loan Department at all. The lie “$11,000 towards your closing cost” shouldn’t be used anymore. Though there was a bright spot with “J” the rest of everyone else was unprofessional and extremely pushy. Zero QA/QC in our home. Customer care reps were sympathetic at first and helpful, but as we have been putting in the numerous daily work orders the past 2 months, the quality of service has dropped enormously and close to zero cares given. It all started to go down hill during the construction process and has now trickled down to customer care experience.

With the limited choices the builder provides when selecting your home, you would expect minimal issues at Move in. This is not the case. Doors are not hung straight. Appliances are junk, but you are not allowed to upgrade. Paver entrances & driveways are splattered with paint, with no follow-up to pressure clean them for you. While I could go on, if the Builder had a Process of Inspecting a Home and correcting obvious issues prior to Closing, they would earn 5 stars from their Buyers.
