On day 1 we had a water leak because a pipe from the AC unit burst inside the house. Weeks of inconvenience and worry. The paint is already peeling. Issues with the washing machine and windows. Very sloppy workmanship with little or no supervision. There is more I could add.

I have been waiting for them to fix things for over a month now. My yard continues to flood they left a tree up in the back yard that is touching my house we paid for a premium lot and did not receive that. We are unable to even use our backyard due to the water rhe back yard retains. I am not gonna eat these cost for a 400k plus home. The home was rushed and there were many issues not tended to. Lennar knew the yard flooded Jamar said I may need French drains. Which tells me lennar knows about the flooding issue. As a first time home owner i wish I never dealt with lennar at this point. ...

So many issues

Washing machine when on the spin cycle bangs the side The Dishwasher started smoking on the first use. The floors in the master bedroom squeaks very loudly as if it’s an old house. Paint on the carpet and tiles was told they be back to clean up. Of course no one came.

Aaron was phenomenal and has done all that he can to try and make the best of an unpleasant experience; he has truly been the only Lennar representative who values customer service and should be moved into a position of higher responsibility. The remainder of our experience has been wrought with nothing but frustration with Lennar blaming trade partners, the market, etc. I would never recommend a Lennar home and we have purchased two in here last year with a similar experience.

Lennar - My house was dirty when we moved in.

My house was dirty when we moved in. The paint look like a child had painted the ininsideCabinets in my bathroom have glue all over them glue on the main bathroom floor. The light fixture in the main bathroom is falling down and no one seems to care. I can't walk on either side of my yard because there is a really bad slope

The overall workmanship was poor, final product was rushed with many gaps from broken cabinets, sloppy paint job. Insurance premium through HIPPO (subsidiary of Lennar) was not paid forcing lapse in homeowner's policy and issuance of multiple dunning notices.

The material is very cheap, the work was done quickly and is falling apart. They take so long to fix the stuff they have messed up on. I would pay abit more next time and get a better builder.

I purchased a Lennar home, and understood that their would be issues with materials due to Covid-19. However, I was highly disappointed with the work and response to fix their mistakes. I still have a hole in the master bath, unfixed electrical, a broken front door, parts were stolen for other job sites, and more. Lennar’s motto is Quality homes built for you, which is a complete lie. I’ve had staff tell me well it’s a Lennar home, this is what you are buying. The communication between staff was horrible. For example my husband and I would talk to someone in the loan department and would expect that message to be delivered to the each person on our mortgage case, but instead we would have to explain our self again and again for the same matter. We also had short notice when it came to gathering information to be sent over, and was then told certain things would be accepted but came to find out later in the home-buying process it’s not accepted. The communication was so bad that on the day of closing we didn’t have a time to close. We were waiting ...

Let's start with Lennar Lender - Regina Stacy was the one who provided her services and she locked our rate when we didn't ask her; she also mentioned that we could change it free of charge later, which wasn't true - she did nothing to help us lower the rate. This was the main the most negative experience that required a lot of stress and attention. Overall build quality is ok but could be better. For some reason Lennar chose white paint for the interior - I would like to know this person and let them how they are not away of the trends and practicality of using white paint inside the house. ...

This home was overrated, over priced and structurally changed from the model home. Therefore it is not worth mentioning how bad this experience has been. Quality and workmanship is livable and ok with final product, but not good or great. Many items need to be fixed or adjusted. I am concerned how it will be after one full year. This is not the normal quality standard in prior build purchases from Lennar. Unfortunately I will not recommend Lennar nor buy Lennar in the future.

Lennar - The build of the house is amazing.

The build of the house is amazing. The construction manager and employees are awesome. The realtor we were in contact with from Lennar was so helpful. Our lender with Lennar was awful. Communication didn’t exist with her. Would no recommend using Lennar lender to anyone.

I absolutely love my home but there is absolutely no communication. Everyone was so friendly until we signed the closing papers. We were told from EVERYONE if you need anything even after closing reach out and we will take care of you. The project manager John is horrible. Extremely rude and acts bothered if you ask him something. Called him about a roof problem on our home that was a month old and was told “Well it passed inspection so whatever”. Then asked him about some breakers as they are not labeled well in the electric panel and he said he doesn’t know to call customer care. Then fast ...

Throughout the whole process, they were threats of taking the house. They were just extortion of making us pay more money just because they felt like it forcing us to use their lender even though their lender would never respond to me sometimes at all or I will take four or five days. The sales rep was very short and disrespectful. All around a horrible customer service. They acted as if we did not matter and if something didn’t work out, they could just sell it to somebody else. They didn’t want to help us work through any issues. I just wanted to try to take the house from us.

The only “positive” thing about this experience was that our home was done on time as promised by Lennar however there were A LOT of imperfections once we actually got in the house. Also not to mention that the home being done on time is the bare minimum from their end. We had our walk through scheduled the week before closing like it’s always done with any new construction. During our walkthrough we marked everything that needed to be corrected and very clearly communicated this with the construction manager. Lennar - The walk-through was a disaster.

The walk-through was a disaster. The Lennar walk-through rep was only interested in hurrying up the process because he has 3 other walk throughs. He was disrespectful of my time. He only placed the blue tapes on select items I pinpointed. When I asked about the toilet upstairs, he said - we will let the warranty take care of it. That was inappropriate. We just did the walk through and we expect the builder and its staff to rectify the problem.

Overall was a pretty poor experience. Glad it's over and will never go through Lennar again. All of our neighbors have reported having dealt with very similar or worse issues. Most, if not all of our neighbors have had to have additional work done to their houses after move in. Everything is just halfway done. No real effort is put into any part of these homes. Our loan officer was definitely the worst part. Definitely a shady operation going on. If you can, go through a different lender for sure.
