Loan process and move in expectations.

The loan process was a complete nightmare! We literally showed up to closing and were told that our loan had not had its final approval and had to wait an additional 3 hours for them to get it figured out. Mind you, this was after we were told the previous night at 8:30 that we were good to go. No one called us to let us know of the rescheduling either which is completely unprofessional. We also had to continuously provide the same proof of funds over and over and over again. Quality control and workmanship is below avarge and a lot of mistakes.Close on house and had to spend 1500.00 to have tile floors cleaned and not the only one.

Worse home buying experience

Honestly this was my 3 home purchase but if was the worst of the three. More stressful, communication wasn’t good at all, timeline kept changing, walkthrough and final walkthrough did not repair a lot of things that were broken or damage. Plan to purchase again but it will not be with Lennar.

Lennar's workmanship is surprisingly sub par. This is truly a production home and that is what you get. There are such minor design features they missed that would move their home from below average to top notch but unfortunately, Lennar's home design team must be novices at best to have missed such minor things in their floor plans, at least in the many plans we reviewed. The community was the selling point for sure - NOT the Lennar home. We wanted to be in the community and had very limited home design choices with Lennar within our budget. The community is a good-looking community BUT since we got here, there are TOO MANY issues with the CDC not properly following up with things to do despite there is a major budget. So where does this budget money go? Also, they cancel meetings most of the time and the homeowner have little to say because they do not want to listen during the meetings. Also, gates are not working, sometimes the water fountain stop working, palms are all over the entrance, flowers have not been replaced nor the mulch and the grass looks pretty bad in many houses. Lack of communication isn’t professional.

Second time buying a home and this time around It was not very pleasant. With the exception of Tee the everyone one else lacked good communication. From Ben the builder to Karlene my phone calls were never returned or emails answered. Going over weeks.

The quality and the materials used in the whole house are not the best standards. There are gaps, and unfinished work, and the materials used are very basic quality. Even the amount of time and follow-ups it takes to get unfished works done from construction managers is also humongous. If no follow-ups, nothing we'll be done. So a lot of waste of time even after paying for the house.

Our sales agent was great when we first looked at the house and when we first signed the paperwork. After that everything went downhill. Our sales agent was no longer timely in responses and our Lennar Loan Agent was very unresponsive throughout the process to the point we went with an outside lender. He wasn’t explaining things as they were happening and just kept asking for more info anytime we reached out to check in on the process, this was the only time he talked to us. This is my second time buying with Lennar. It started off great but all went downhill. They kept pushing our closing out (understandable with new construction) but the worst was when we were scheduled for our new home orientation and we got a call less than 30 minutes beforehand when we were already almost there that the home wasn’t ready and our closing would be delayed (again). they are pushing these houses out so fast that a lot of things aren’t finished by closing and the final product is rushed. workers don’t take pride in their work and very sloppy. glue on floors, paint on tile and granite. I purchased a single family home a +55 Active Community and would not ever purchase from Lennar again. Attention to detail and simply doing the job right the first time is lacking. 1. For the past 20 years, I have worked in Real Estate and in purchasing my own home, one would think I would have a better experience. I closed because I needed to but today, my issues are still not resolved. I chase to get things done and no one responds. Worse experience for any homeowner. The home was NOT Move-in-Ready when we did the final walk. Far too many outstanding issues that needed to be fixed and are still NOT fixed! Sloppy paint and caulking job throughout the home. Missing all bathroom fixtures...they were deleted by Lennar without informing their Customers under contract. We have NO light fixtures above the sinks! Unbelievable!! Once the down payment went through so did the fast response to issues. Closed early to help them out and immediately regretted that because there were issues with filthy grout on brand new tile floors throughout the home. Painters and cleaners not good in my opinion. Very bad experience this time with Lennar and its crew(Construction Manager/Sales consultant) very poor responsiveness and responsibility. Poor quality of construction. Several issues pending to be addressed post closing and negligence from Lennar in not fixing them. Would not like to get into nitty gritty but very very bad experience.

The home itself is a decent starter home. However, there was lack of communication throughout the entire building process as well as promises for things that were not kept. Plans changed without relaying of information. We still are having difficulty with communication and the houses was “completed” 10/31/2022.
