It's a brand new house which is nice. Materials used are very low end. Quality of products could definitely be better. Workmanship also could be better. Lots of debris, construction material, paint droppings, etc left behind.

The walk-through was a disaster. The Lennar walk-through rep was only interested in hurrying up the process because he has 3 other walk throughs. He was disrespectful of my time. He only placed the blue tapes on select items I pinpointed. When I asked about the toilet upstairs, he said - we will let the warranty take care of it. That was inappropriate. We just did the walk through and we expect the builder and its staff to rectify the problem.

I would warn future home buyers on the poor quality and lack of care in the craftsmanship. Painting and caulking where poorly done or missed completely. Materials like cabinets and doors have multiple dings and dents. Missing parts for appliances . Damages to shower glass and bathroom tub. There are inconsistencies with placement of materials. It’s clear that there is no care or compassion with the build of the homes. In discussion with neighbors I confirmed it’s the same for them as well.

Lennar rushed to closing the property. The quality of workmanship was greatly compromised. Especially bad was the tile floor, the grout was left dry over tiles by its construction people. We don't how to clean the grout and grout film over the tile floor.

Rushed incomplete 20k over original asking price did not meet their own deadlines

The house was not finished but was told it would be after two weeks of closing.How to make multiple phone calls to get a ceiling fan in an additional Outlet in garage. The floor was an atrocious after touch up painting was done. Also pointed out additional spots were touch up paint need to be done this was not completed either. The floor was notoriously gross and had to call and Stanley steamer to get the floor done this was a battle with Lennar. I would recommend having everything done prior to signing papers and not putting anything Off. Denise a sales lady was the most helpful.

One of the most appealing aspects of this location and villa model was that the open layout and design were just about what I would have picked for a custom build. Lennar's team made this process fairly painless and helped ease my mind in the midst of a crazy real estate market. The communication was excellent, and the house was ready on time!

The purchase price is reasonable. Overall, it's a good experience.

Be sure they finish your house completely before closing

From signing purchase contract to walkthrough, closing were very smooth. Lennar even provide homeowner insurance service! So far, no any warrenty issues. Love it!

Overall I am now happy with my home, but it took a while to get there. The builder did not finish things that were promised to me at my final walk-through for closing date, and it has taken a very long time to get those things completed. The office staff at my community was great to work with, but I was not as happy with the building process.

I wish I had not bought a lennar house it has really bad workman's and very cheap materials.

I have worked with several other builders and this home buying experience with Lennar by far is the worst. Builder rushed closing when the house was technically not ready. Lots of issues were promised to be fixed by move-in and ended up taking over months. Severe plumbing issues were found and quality of workmanship and materials is way below standard. I will never buy another house from Lennar again.

Push to close to make quotas. Over two hours rate at title office. During final walk through the home was not ready.

It had been 20 years since I bought a house. The process was simple and they were very helpful. Getting all the paperwork together was the most stressful part but again the staff was very helpful. I couldn’t have asked for a better group of people to work with!

I didn’t have the experience I was expecting. Very poor work quality, materials are not the best, paint was horrible, etc.

The house has too many issues and it is taking too long to resolve them. It was not worth it to pay so much many for a hoy with a very poor workmanship. It has been five months since the closing and stood Lennar hasn’t fixed all the many things wrong in the house.

The communication can definitely be better all around. I constantly had to reach out for things and do my own follows ups. One of our first walkthroughs i scheduled to have a home inspector come in. He was barely able to do his job the A/C unit was not hooked up. The only appliance that was plugged in for testing was the refrigerator. Those were one of the biggest things. I scheduled in advance for the inspector to come 1 week before the walkthrough and got the ok. I let the construction manager know that if things were not going to be ready for walkthrough they should have let me know so I could have rescheduled the inspector. When closing day did come communication between the tittle company and our loan officer was ridiculous. The title company provided us a time to get there we did and had to wait and wait. Between waiting for them to get the documents they say never received signing the documents it took about 3 hours. Always ask question during the experience. Coming from the North Region of the country some things you would not ask but just assume would be added on new homes. Here are a few things to know off the bat with a new build by Lennar, the tile floors was in my home and most homes in Floriday; however, the grout was not sealed just something the builder does not do that I would assume would be completed, no doorbells are installed and what I thought was weird coming from the North part of the region, no gutters are on the homes. All out of pocket expenses the buyer has to spend if they want the items completed. Also, the water is hard in Florida being close to the ocean which will require a water treatment system installed. Lennar market installing the dispenser which is cheaper, but over time the hard water does a lot damages to your pipes, so you will want to go with the entire home system installation which is expensive.
