They build their houses fast and rely on the fact you have a 1 year warranty to fix the things they messed up on. That is only the things you find. The workers try to cover up mistakes even when some are obviously wrong. POOR integrity on the workers and PM building the house.

As soon as I moved in, a huge leak occurred in the master bedroom shower that caused a lot of damage and the response from Lennar customer service was horrific! The workmanship is terrible it looks like they just cut as many corners as they could. The paint job is horrible, it looks like they did one coat of paint and didn’t do it well you can see white spots everywhere. All of the toilet paper holders and towel holders are loose it looks like they drilled holes bigger than the anchors and just left it like that! The property was not ready on time, because of supplies difficulties and the pandemic. Lennar always updated on the time delivery and after 2 months of original date I have the Closing. My agent and Construction Manager kept me informed and updated. It was great experience.

I think when you advertise everything included in should be that way. House did not include a door bell (not even the pre wiring). And cable outlets only on Living room & Master bedroom, now have to pay and have some one crawling in my attic to get that done. It could have been done on construction so easy .Also front garage and back light excluded. Not even pre wired at least. I believe these are basic stuff you expect from a home, new or old. Would have given up that basic washing machine I traded anyway and those ceiling fans to get that. Hope someone really considers this. That's the only ...

The builder's sales team did not respond to buyer needs and concerns. The construction manager was only interested in getting home to close, not in correcting any problems, raised by buyer. Attitude of sales staff was "take it or leave it, too bad."

Builder lacks an eye for details. For example, the concrete pad for the air conditioner is at about a 15 degree tilt with chipped corners. The dishwasher is no doubt the cheapest on the market and has leaked since day one. The garage floor and front porch were covered in drywall mud splatter and paint.

I’ve been overall pretty disappointed with Lennar throughout the entire home buying process, even afterwards dealing with issues that continue to arise. As I ask around, I hear more and more how Tampa area Lennar has a bad reputation and I wish I knew that coming in.

The Lennar Team was outstanding during the process. My consultant was excellent and bridged the gap with the out if state home buying experience. The process was tailored and streamlined. However, the craftsmanship of the home was was less than my expectation. There were several defects in the details of the home. I had many service calls for the hot water heater after 4 attempts it was finally corrected. The overall construction of the home meets my expectations so far. However the details were subpar. I’m not pleased that the home warranty is only 1 year.

They do not check houses, appliances, smart devices, etc. enough before closing. They think it is best to just wait for the buyer to complain after closing, and then they try to be “customer friendly” but they are usually too busy to take care of the many problems that should have been taken care of before closing, Most appliances our of the lower value.
