Been 60 days still one of the bedroom is not finished

1. Even though we reported these issues during pre-drywall inspection, none of those were fixed 2. Forced us in a threatened way to close the house even without fixing the reported issues. 3. I fell and tripped in the room because of pulled out carpet, frames and closet doors left in the room without any safety concerns. 4. Multiple meetings and multiple people come in and go to look at the issues. This affected my work and personal life significantly in a negative way. It is unacceptable and negligent on their part to let us suffer this long.

broken irrigation systems

When we did the inspection few days before closing, the irrigation system broke. So Lennar turned it off. This killed our lawn because no water for the grass. Lennar promised us that they will take care of the lawn and irrigation system. What they did was let the irrigation water the grass everyday and the running time was very long. The front and back yard turned to paddle, wasted a lot water. The water bill for the first month was more than 600 with no one live in the house. And the house was very dirty, some construction waste left inside the garage. We have to hire the cleaner to clean ...

Lennar is a poor builder that is full of excuses. They contract with cheap trades who do not respect that this is someone’s home nor do they care about their workmanship. Many of the trades have cut corners and did shotty work, including crooked doors, ceilings, and general crappy cover ups. Lennar should be ashamed of themselves.

Lennar responded:
Hi, thank you for sharing a review. We want to apologize for the disappointing workmanship you have described and will be sure to pass this feedback on to the local team. Lack of action

While the house was completed, due to the rush the house has so many issues. The lack of response from Lennar is insane. I have people showing up with no prior warning, its been over a month and problems just keep arising. We pointed out things during final inspection in Dec that still are not repaired. My cabinets need repair and they want to come in 6 months to repair them? My breakers were tripping, down the towel holder falling and need to be repaired twice. The paint job looks like my teenager did it. The list just keeps going.

Lennar responded:
Hi Yara, thank you for taking time to share a review. We appreciate your feedback and are sorry to hear about the poor experience you have faced with your new home. Additionally, we would like to apologize for the poor communication provided by the team. We found a lot of mistakes and after being in the home for a few months we still see things that were not fixed but at this point, we are told that is cosmetic. We still have a big hole in our back yard which I've almost fallen a few times. Just received a letter in the mail that my CCD cost is going up and my monthly mortgage also went up. We still have no pool or playground as promised when we moved in but we have about 75 more new homes. Almost forgot to mention it took about two months for us to get a mail box and had to go to the post office every other day if we could make it before ...

So many things that was supposed to be repaired but wasn’t. The lake is filthy with garbage. Concerned what health hazards it might posed to us. It Hasn’t been cleaned in the 4 months we live here. The workers broke the apron on my drive way, from driving over it due to all the work trucks blocking the roads, and I was told it’s not warranted because it’s not half inch wide. No listens or hear. We feel so violated and disrespected. Sad that We bought into this development.

Very basic cheap construction. Things that should be included are upgrades or not offered. Carelessness on several items in the home. No padding under carpet and can fell rocks where the carpet was laid down. Changes made during building of the home that buyer not made aware of. However I do like the community that I live in.

Unfortunately, I had the worst and most humiliating experience buying a home with Lennar. If they wanted to know about my two-year consecutive employment history, why didn't they ask me at the beginning? I understand that the FHA process is rigorous, but the procedure adopted by Lennar was terrible. I have never been so disrespected regarding my professional career as I was during this purchase process. Lennar asked me how I got a job at an American company if I had no “recent” experience in business or team management. Have they never heard that when a professional moves to another ...

Lennar responded:
Good morning Daniel. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention. We’re truly sorry to hear that your homebuying experience—particularly during the loan process—was an unpleasant one. That’s far from the standard we aim to uphold, and we regret that we fell short of your expectations. Moving forward, we hope to earn back your trust as a homeowner. If there are any outstanding warrantable items, we encourage you to submit a warranty service request through your Lennar account. This will help ensure your concerns are properly documented and followed up on by the appropriate ...

I am totally unhappy with my experience with Lennar. They already raised my HOA fees and I’m only living here a month. Every time I turn around they are charging us for more things that were never explained either at closing or when I first looked at the community. Living in a 55t community, most of us are on a fixed income. Had I been aware of all the extra dues, I never would have bought here. Very unhappy and will consider moving.

On the day of closing I went to home to do another inspection and items like the cabinets that had scratches were not fixed. Was told that it will be done when I come back from closing. Never happened and it’s now been 2 months and I still haven’t gotten it fixed. So don’t sign until the items they need to fix is fix because then u will end up having to do the run around

Lennar responded:
Good afternoon, Melissa. We appreciate you taking the time to share your experience with us. The experience has been an experience you do not want as a homeowner. It started with discouraging you from having a Realtor and getting a Lawyer. Get your home inspected as there are many flaws and some areas not completed to standards. You must take your time during the initial inspection of your home to include the outside landscaping area. I had dead trees and when request of replacement was done Lennar stated that landscaping is not included. Ensure your irrigation system works!!! Tiles in the home chipped and cracked not replaceable by the warranty, do not understand this!!! Check your ...

Poor craftsmanship and low budget materials and design decisions. The sales team only cares about one thing; taking your money and the construction / install team do not take any pride in their work. The communication between all departments was terrible. They are all reactive and not proactive in more ways than one. If I had to do it all over again I would not buy a home with Lennar. I do not recommend this company and if know anyone considering in purchasing a home with Lennar I would advise them to reconsider.

The sales person was awesome to deal with through the whole process and is the only person that helped me resolved major construction issues. The Lennar Construction Rep was not knowledgeable and lacked insight and dedication to resolve issues identified by me or a 3rd party inspector. Now I’m dealing with major and minor construction warranty issues with no follow up by a new Lennar Warranty rep. Seems like it’s a common thing.

I had tenant moved into my new house with lots of issues, unfinished drywall paintings, big issue AC is still NOT working after moving into the house for more than a month, glad our tenant was tolerant. Tenants started complaining about noises on the pipes, glad it turned out be something small. This was my worst experience and appreciate if you can look into the issues, this is my fourth home, I am owning and never had any serious experiences like this with any other builder. Hopefully someone can focus on these issues and come up with a resolution soon

Everything was shiny and painted very pretty in the beginning. Unfortunately that was not the case. My move in date was pushed back multiple times, I was asked to close on the home prior to having the keys to the home. I found many errors during the walk through and was told the errors would be completed prior to my celebration. On celebration day the errors were not completed and I continued to find more defects, and was told to submit warranty tickets. My kitchen is still missing cabinet doors. Lennar gave me the keys to my house knowing the house was not ready and not build to standard. ...

I'd love to share photos of the subpar workmanship throughout the entire home. From cracked drywall and ceilings, uneven and poorly installed crown moldings and baseboards, sloppy painting, unfinished lanai patio and concrete areas, cracked garage floors, doors installed incorrectly, missing towel and toilet paper holders, chipped tiles, and the list goes on and on. Check your included options on your contracts and make sure you get everything on that list before you close. This will be my first and last Lennar home. Lesson learned!!!

During the buying process we never received updates from the building manager, although we were promised that we would receive weekly updates. At the initial walk-through, there was a long list of punch items to be done. We were promised they would be done by the closing the following Wednesday, when we arrived at the closing walk-through 90% of items were still incomplete, including zero appliances.
