They said the the repairs would be done 5 days after closing now I have been my home for 7 weeks and still no work has been done word to new buyers don't sign at closing until the home is done

For a home that was over 1/2 a million dollars, the quality and craftsmanship were not there. Things never added up to what the builder was thinking from the landscaping (who puts really big trees right next to one's house and expects there not to be a problem 10 years down the road), Even the kitchen looked like someone brought in a bathroom with the subway tile backsplash in which we asked not to be put in. This isn't my first home with Lennar and I was very happy with my previous purchase but not so happy with my recent purchase. The home has had numerous problems including roof leak. I'm very unhappy and filled with buyer remorse. This will be my last Lennar home.

If you are going to purchase a Lennar home be sure you can be onsite everyday looking at the construction being done. The workmanship was not good on our house and we will be putting in rework tickets the entire year during our warranty period. You also need to do a thorough walk through before you accept the house and pack your patience for closing; just plan on a three hour ordeal. Good luck!

Brand new house but it's one problem after another.

So many problems, but the biggest one is that my brand new house that I closed less than 2 months ago, now has diffused mold in the kitchen and a water leak under the concrete. I can't even move in even though I'm about to make second mortgage payment.

Where to start? Immediate leak from upstairs kids bathroom the first time one of them took a shower. Leaked down into the bottom floor soaking insulation. Still waiting five weeks later for it to be fully fixed so my daughter can have her on room back, so we don’t have large holes in her wall and the downstairs ceiling. Whoever put in the grass cared nothing about people safely mowing their lawns. We selected Lennar because it was building homes in the area we wanted to live. No other builders really had inventory in our our price range and timeline. What a mistake! Worst experience I've ever had. They were late completing the home. The mortgage division is incompetent. They cost us thousands of dollars due to their mistakes.

Not a good experience with the sales manager and her forcing us to close on the house to meet month ends numbers when repairs and gas line leak needed to be fixed. They threatened that if we didn't close even though there were major issues that they would put us in default and we would have to pay late fees. For our initial walkthrough the home was a mess, wasn't cleaned and debris all over but wanted to close on time and blame us despite these issues

Home was supposed to be completed in 5/2023 which is the reason we selected the property. We were then told it would close in June 2023. We coordinated the sale of our residence to coincide with the closing date in June. The closing was then pushed out to July 2023. Make sure you are getting the whole truth about the fees that are charged here. There are 3 different accounts: 1 - $180.00 the second fee is $237.01 the third B is $112.00. We were told everything was covered under the $180.00. But it isn’t so buyer be aware of what you are told. Next time I will get everything in writing with signatures. Trust me no one wants to make this mistake right.

Started off with a leak before closing and it’s been 2 months after we closed and it’s still not fully rectified. It takes numerous follow ups on our part to get anything moving. The warranty team has been the only competent people during this process and I do thank Stephanie and Shaun. Neighbors next door smoke detector goes off at least once a week for hours showcasing the material in the homes isn’t great quality. Is the worse experience I had, water was coming inside the house when raining through the windows I reported to everyone and my husband had to fixed almost a month and nobody has follow up this issue. Home was delivered 1 year late with very poor craftsmanship and little quality control. House was not delivered in moved in condition and was very dirty. Craftsmanship is equivalent to DIY. My experience with Lennar has been quite disappointing. Despite being promised that all pending tasks would be completed prior to closing, several important items were left unfinished. They were in a rush to close all the homes by November and there was no focus on completing the work before closing. Terrible customer service! Pressure to close on home when not ready. Told us to move form 4 states away that it was ready to move in. It was still rough, not finished. Had to live in hotel for a couple of weeks after closing. Poor responsiveness from managers. Shabby finish work. I will never buy from Lennar again and will do my very best to warn future customers.
