I would not recommend putting anyone through the experience we had! Stay away from Lennar, and even further away from Lennar Finance!

good builder but have a problem with their tile company. Lennar tiled my whole house minus the bedrooms and was promised that at least 2 full cases of tile in the dye lot would be left in house prior to closing. Owner of tile company. John Grimmer who i spoke to personally, said he bring the day after closing which never happened. I offer to buy additional cases at retail price to have more tile on hand in case of a sub surface crack or any damage after closing. I bought a Pulte home last year, but it was too small and decided to go with Lennar on a bigger home. The overall workmanship was poor and the quality of materials for cabinets, paint, baseboards, size of patio only 6x4, irrigation missing spots and not covering evenly., handles on toilets breakdown after 4 months. I understand this is not a custom home, but even with higher building costs and labor I think a better product can be offered. They make a lot of promises they don’t deliver! It took me 4 months to get our ice maker and dispenser to work after 3 service calls. It finally works. I still have blue tape on 3 of my cupboard that have not been addressed, after several emails and text. They sell your home as a “smart home”. However nothing is set up in your home so you have to do the leg work to make it a smart home that you purchased. Garage floor is bubbling up, painter never returns your text to schedule. Washer has had issues spinning. Waiting for warranty work January 5.

New Home buyer please do not do with Docu sign procedure, never get chance to review purchase documents. Sales person high light few things and get you to sign documents, once documents sign and if we question about things to be done in the house, we will get to hear that you sign documents!!!

Lennar is one of the worst companies I have even dealt with. There were and still are so many issues with our home and when a claim is submitted nothing happens. When we eventually get contacted for a claim we are told that it’s a cosmetic issue or it’ll be MONTHS before they can do anything. I go out of my way to tell my friends and family to think twice before buying with Lennar because they do not care about they customers. DO NOT BUY FROM LENNAR - unless you want to waste your money and time.

We were happy to finally be in our home after the exhausting process. There were still issues that took some time to resolve. Lennar is a good company but some of the companies they have to use are sub par. The people who installed the washer and dryer were completely incompetent. Hooked us the waterlines backwards and failed to vent the dryer plus they banged up the wall bringing them in.

Building a house consists of many jobs combination. When one job is complete, the other previous job is demolished or severely damaged. As the result: no supervision or any kind responsibilities from the workers and management. For instance: installing a very expensive quartz countertop with no supportive brackets underneath! They tossed the heavy stone countertop straight onto the wooden cabinet without 3 or 4 supportive brackets at all! Do your research. I have been in my home for almost 4 months and still have things getting fixed. From a chunk missing from stairs to broken tile throughout the house. Poor workmanship seems to be a trademark of Lennar and the customer service is even worse.

Overall was a pretty poor experience. Glad it's over and will never go through Lennar again. All of our neighbors have reported having dealt with very similar or worse issues. Most, if not all of our neighbors have had to have additional work done to their houses after move in. Everything is just halfway done. No real effort is put into any part of these homes. Our loan officer was definitely the worst part. Definitely a shady operation going on. If you can, go through a different lender for sure.

The lawn care is very poor. Most of my plants have died and the lawn has weeds and bare spots and the water does not drain completely. The HOA says that they are not responsible and will not fix this issue, given that the plants and grass were of poor quality. It would also be nice if Lenna gave the homeowner the option to get a water softener installed.
