Do not buy, run away. Sales team made false promises, they are just looking for your money. No quality and construction issues left and right. Tile issues, plumbing issues, poor worksmanship, cutting corners everywhere. They want to save on everything.just expect atleast 4walls.

Bad quality construction, cheap products. Lennar has very customer service and zero post-sale commitment. There is no SLA for the resolution of the issues. Uneven flooring, lousy painting, cracks on the walls.

The house is supposed to be new and without problems, on December 9 I did the closing and there were some things to fix. The engineer in charge of the house promised that he would fix the house in a matter of weeks, as of today, January 31, the house remains the same and both the engineer and the customer service person are still missing without letting me know when they are going to fix it. the problems that the house has. The treatment that my wife and I have received in a matter of the house is incredible. It is unacceptable that they have a group of people working without caring about the things they do. Dont buy from Lennar, EVER! They are cheapskates who cant do anything right, force you into closing early with promises of fixing things, but do not deliver. The material is cheap, the labor is crap, the multiple mistakes due to their cheap laborers is absolutely horrible. The home is not worth the price they charge AT ALL! I could have done a better job than their day laborers. Their construction manager Derrick clearly has no idea how to do his job or how to manage his workers to make sure they do it right. We have had nothing, but issues and we have only been in the home a month. The padding between townhomes walls is not enough, the padding under the carpet is none existent. We can hear everything! There is no sound proofing whatsoever, its like living in an apt again. The paint mistakes, the caulking missed, the leaking windows, tile floors installed incorrectly, the broken cabinets, and these are some of the issues we have that have yet to be fixed, The sales people have no idea what they are selling. No one in this organization communicates with anyone else. Sales people promise one thing, but that is clearly not what is done. House was a mess when we moved in. Walls needed repainting and when they repainted the workers got paint on carpet, tile, everything and it is not cleaned up yet. Our A/C has gone out 3 times and is still not fixed. No one from Lennar follows up when work order is put in. Finally, the HOA is charging us a late fee because Lennars title company sent them a faded check that HOA could not cash and cannot get a hold of the title company to cut a new check. I would not recommend to anyone to deal with Lennar.

BAD COMPANY AND STAFF

The homebuying experience has been less than ideal. From putting in an offer on the house being told last minute that I can’t close due to a quote on quote SHA policy until my family member outlined the FHA guidelines did the sales team change their tune. The lender that was referred by Lennar again not great. I asked multiple times during the process for additional review of my good faith estimate, and was told I had to get back with the sales agent who never returned my emails. Chris who is on the construction side has been the only person to follow up and show any type of customer service. I did not close on my loan until November 30 after 10 PM after I demanded a mobile notary to come to my house due to the hick up with Lennar ‘s closing department. I was asked for the same document multiple times causing tons of stress for a newly divorced homeowner. The customer service with Lennar is by far the worst I’ve ever experience. This is my fifth home purchasing and I have never been treated so poorly the day of closing I did not even get the full experience as other homeowners with the red carpet roll out or even the banner and balloons. I notated the condition of my cabinets prior to moving into the house and here we are now at the end of January, and I’m being told my cabinets will not be fixed until May. The paneling of the cabinets are pilling off one of the actual doors is completely off the hinges, broken cabinetry in the kitchen and nothings been done to expedite this. Furthermore, I have not been able to hang up any clothes in my closet as my comply closet is completely broken and that was also outlined prior to closing. My backyard is a complete utter mess with holding water everywhere. I would like to have the great customer service. This is our third new home and has definitely been the worst of all three. The craftsmanship and details are lacking. The response from Lennar has been lacking and when they do respond, they say it isn’t covered or need to call another company.

Worst experience i ever had in buying a home

The only positive I've had throughout my experience is with my Sales Consultant Joe Casinguay. The Construction side of Lennar is Horrible! Communication, Quality of Construction, Integrity, Pride is workmanship from their Trades is nonexistent! My first new construction experience and I will not do it again unless I'm my own General contractor. If you care about buying a quality home and having good communication with the builder, Do Not Buy from Lennar!!!!!!

I have moved to three other new built houses in the past, this was the worse experience ever. From beginning to end- starting with the sales person, who did not know much, everything had to be asked to supervisor, she provided wrong information. I was told all the closing cost would be covered and it was not, I am still waiting for answers, since November 29th- closing date. My home was not completed when it was supposed to be, I had to move in to a house needed another week of work. As of now, there is still long list of items needs to be completed. Horrible experience, will not recommend anyone to buy a Lennar home. Pressure their client’s to close on homes that are not finished and getting them to do any repairs is a hassle.

Sales lady wasn’t ethical. Charges were not disclosed upfront. The townhome wasn’t ready at the closing. Struggling to get the paint issues resolved after 2 months of closing. Poor workmanship

I have owned several homes in my lifetime. Some new builds and some resales. NEVER have had such a terrible experience as with this home. When I wasn’t being ignored; I was being lied to. I have done my best to patiently work through the Lennar process but at this point I am all out of nice.

My new house is a bundle of issues. Starting from the exterior to the the interior of the bathrooms every part of the issue had bunch of issues. There were so many bulges and dips in the every room whereever there is carpet. The issue was raised before closing and is not fixed yet. The carpet and the padding inside the carpet are so cheap. Beneath the carpet we found trash, the people who did that didn’t even care to vacuum the area before installing the carpet. The padding was not bound together which keeps moving when you walk, creating gaps. The framing is not flat. Every room has ups and dips. The carpet is not tucked well at the edges. The carpet in the model house is definitely twice as thick as ours. The exterior paint looks like it was not done by professionals. There is overage and gaps between the wood trims. The balcony floor has ups and dips which retains water after rain. There is a bulge in the dry wall of the master bed room. Faucets are cheap and each of them have different pressure levels. Landscaping looks like it was rushed.recessed lights in the loft area are put in at irregular places, and the list goes on. ... More

In the beginning we had a few hiccups but everyone was available and supportive; however the bad experience started on the first day of the walk/ through when I was told it had to be done on a particular day and many things were not completed in the home. Since that day it has been an unpleasant experience. I finally realized no one cares once you’ve signed on the dotted line.

I am not a happy Lennar Customer! Too many issues to list here. It's exhausting. Poor communication, paid way too much for the quality of the home--materials, appliances, workmanship, quality or lack thereof, slapdash finishes, severely poor responsiveness, lack of integrity and more. All of this wears you down and leaves you angry and stuck.

Hi, This is my third lennar home, but my experience of buying of third lennar home was really bad that I would never buy another home from lennar. I had primary home and investment home from lennar prior to this...they were forcing me to close home with open drywalls and lot of work pending. Can you imagine closing home and some attorney coming to your home on Saturday evening 9PM to close home ? They forced me to do this although still pending items. They said If I dont close it today I will lose my 10% security deposit and my interest rate will go up even my rate lock doesn't expire another 1 month. They said Will address all the pending issues next week but It has been almost 7 weeks and no one responds it. Even when I raise warranty ticket 1 week ago still no response. Lennar was never like this before, otherwise I wouldnt buy my third home with them. But I am done with them. Its nightmare as a lennar customer now...never seen anything like this. If they continue to treat their customers like this and think get away they are making huge mistake. This could be the beginning the end of largest home builder. I hope management sees these issues and fix them before its too late. Again this is not just my experience so many people in that neighborhood complained the same thing. So you get the idea. If you are first time home buyer I would remove lennar home from your shopping list no matter how attractive their incentives and sale price compared to other builders. I went in to this experience with Lennar with an open mind even though I read many bad reviews. In the beginning it was good and everything was progressing nicely. Then it hit dates changed multiple times which led to us being homeless for some time. Then we finally closed and it was evident that there was no detail to attention but we were promised it would be taken care quickly. Now two months in and I believe I have set the record for warranty ticket which the majority of them are not resolved. In short I will never but another Lennar home if I have a choice.

Quality of workmanship and materials are very poor. After an initial evaluation of the home, issues were notified ahead of time. The builder manager agreed to solve the issues and by surprise, the manager changed the mind and didn’t complete any updates as requested. After spending several thousands, I had to close with many defects in the home. Lennar didn’t complete the initial walkthrough issues identified and after two months of the closing, they haven’t fixed all issues. Also, more issues have been identified with several tiles issues (hallow tiles/different shades through the home and now Lennar can’t find the right tiles to fix the issues. ... More

Very poor quality Lot of missing things during the final walk issues are getting fixed only after so many follow ups Promising that everything will be resolved before final walk. But there were lots of missing and left overs during my closing time. I was in a worst mood when closing the house.

What a nightmare, not recommend. Cheap quality & overpriced. Terrible workmanship
