You take the bad with the good

While Lennar may be fairly easy to work with to resolve problems, I feel there shouldn't be as many as I've encountered. Unfortunately I bought rather late in this community and it seems as though the builders were in a rush to get done. This shows in some of the sloppy work that was done and things that were caught in the final walkthrough. Some of these weren't corrected before closing and some seem to have fallen off that list altogether. Now I'll have to deal with them under the warranty.

Being delayed from closing on the home while it stood completed and it costing $5000+ to live during this time. No good reason for delay .

get a closing date included in contract if possible and penalties if possible. These people should be more responsive to people spending their money. No reason for these major delays that cost me in excess of $5000 . for temp housing. Im sure that this survay will go no where, and nothing done for me or the next person,

When I initially decided to purchase my home, I was told the closing date would be in September of 2020. When I saw construction had not yet started on my home (well after construction was supposed to have begun) I brought it up with Lennar staff. I was subsequently told the home would not be ready until closer to January 2021. As a result, I was offered a different lot with the same floorplan, which was supposed to be ready around September of 2020 (the original agreed upon timeline). In all the process, communication was very poor. When we got to the inspection process we didn’t even got time to go through the entire house, cause they guy was in a time frame. During construction process we never got any updates of how the house was going.

I've had a few issues not so much with the house but with the homeowners association. Next to impossible to get anyone to respond. Adam, whom was the first person from Lennar I talked to to get the ball rolling for the buying process has gone way and above in helping resolve my issues with them. Adam deserves the most credit in this home buying process. My walk through guy was awesome as well. Explaining to a T everything about everything. Again he needs an applause.

Buyers must ensure the get the name and phone number of the upper management before closing. If it is possible to have a converzation with them. That is necessary in case any complaint is not answered by the immediate managers, one can raise the complaint to a higher level. At the moment I have several problems that only the administrator gives me an answer and no management is able to write or call me to tell me how to solve the case. They close my complaints without being resolved, they don't care if I agree or not.

Love my townhouse. However I am almost 2 weeks moved in and my sons room and his bathroom have no power. Had to send in a request and it could be weeks before someone comes to fix it.

My experience so far has been pretty OK, until I move into my home and see how they respond with taking care of items that are still outstanding as far as the punchlist goes and then I can give you my honest opinion but right now so far so good.

Overall process was great. There some hiccups towards closing with Lennar's lender, stuff that could have been avoided if the documents we provided were processed earlier, instead of the week before closing.

The communication between staff was horrible. For example my husband and I would talk to someone in the loan department and would expect that message to be delivered to the each person on our mortgage case, but instead we would have to explain our self again and again for the same matter. We also had short notice when it came to gathering information to be sent over, and was then told certain things would be accepted but came to find out later in the home-buying process it’s not accepted. The communication was so bad that on the day of closing we didn’t have a time to close. We were waiting ...

How bad my house looks inside

I am def going to be writing a review. To news channel 8, Facebook , Instagram , Twitter. I am shocked at what my house looks like. There is not one piece of molding in any room that is clean and hole paint streak free. Not one. Two doors in house don’t close. Which they were told at walk through never fixed. Holes in both showers in tile. I am saddened that I spent this much money for a place that the inside is literally embarrassing. I have pics which I will be sending you. The build of the house is amazing. The construction manager and employees are awesome. The realtor we were in contact with from Lennar was so helpful. Our lender with Lennar was awful. Communication didn’t exist with her. Would no recommend using Lennar lender to anyone.

Overall a good experience. Some details left behind, we are fixing it since are not major. The grass in the back isdamaged and still no replacement after two months. The value is in line with the product received. I'll buy again from Lennar, but will avoid these mid range properties.
