The builder uses low quality trades, makes numerous mistakes, and hires staff with no relevant construction experience. They fail to keep their word on basically everything, workers do not show up when scheduled, and, overall, Lennar is the McDonald’s of buying a house. Absolute garbage.

Constantly finding stuff wrong with my home. Submitted issues for two months and still unresolved. They rushed the close, the house was not livable for the close and they forced us to close. I am unhappy with the quality of workmanship… everything seems rushed and messy.

My experience with Lennar, it's been a nightmare to say the least from the beginning to the end. My first walk through was a disaster, no electricity and the house looked like been hit by a hurricane, 2nd walk through was not much better house was dirty patches on walls, carpet had paint and dry wall stains everywhere, doors and trims weren't finish, tiles in both showers needed to be replace, cabinets and pantry were missing shelves, all 3 pocket doors needed to be replaced and the list goes on. 4 months after closing we are still waiting for all this to be completed. Lennar insisted that they pay off my car with proceed from my sale in Atlanta. Payoff sent was 1000.00 over price and this money could have been put on mortgage. Lenders were VERY unresponsive, All of Lennars team except for one person in title were horrible at their job and never on the clock or in the office. Took more than 24hours for a return call and them they did not know anything.

This was a HORRIBLE experience especially as a first time homebuyer. I understand delays because of COVID, but no reason for the craftsmanship to be so poor. I can’t even get in contact with anyone to come out and fix the piece in our contract that they legally have to fix and we closed 3 months ago! The communication has been TERRIBLE after we signed our commitment. Closing kept getting delayed because no one wanted to do their job. There was so much trash including beer cans on the property during building. I would NEVER recommend a Lennar home.

How long does it take for cosmetic repairs? I was off from work 5 days for closing and I spent another 5 days after Christmas waiting for technicians to complete the scheduled job request. I communicated with Lennar staff voicing my concerns and was advised I need to schedule another request Monday through Friday? Would I recommend Lennar- absolutely not. I put down 20% and this is what I get! No not happy at all.

It is sad to see that the so called “Construction manager” don’t care about the construction but to have the “job” done. I closed in November and I did not even get a welcome package until this week. The sales team is excellent (Ali Meye) and they care even after the sales is done. I really wish somebody from Lennar with some kind of power within the company could contact me and go to home. Nobody gives us a name or a phone number where to call and how to solve the problems. I am in conversation with a new rep. Lennar Title was so bad and the experience with closing ruined the experience of home buying. It took 4 hours to close because they were so backed up. The woman was so rude and we did it from my car. The quality of appliances is so bad, they are pieces of crap and I wish I just got some cash instead. Still unresolved issues.

Lennar is one of the worst companies I have even dealt with. There were and still are so many issues with our home and when a claim is submitted nothing happens. When we eventually get contacted for a claim we are told that it’s a cosmetic issue or it’ll be MONTHS before they can do anything. I go out of my way to tell my friends and family to think twice before buying with Lennar because they do not care about they customers. DO NOT BUY FROM LENNAR - unless you want to waste your money and time.

How awful the support and timeliness of fixing issues that shouldn’t even exist because of the poor workmanship of the builder

Do your research. I have been in my home for almost 4 months and still have things getting fixed. From a chunk missing from stairs to broken tile throughout the house. Poor workmanship seems to be a trademark of Lennar and the customer service is even worse.

Let me start by saying from the time I've dealt with the sales team all the way through to the Customer Care Team was a horrific experience. I bought my home in July 2021 and we are now in November 2021 and the defects in my brand new home have still not been completed. my bathroom shower pan was defected and it took 4 weeksand attempts with Lennar and Stewart tiling to completed the reinstallation on my shower pan. the time were poorly affixed after installing a new shower pan. I know now I would never hire anyone from Stewart Tiling or purchase a new home from Lennar. I really have to say ...

Absolutely horrible experience. Horrible Quality , customer service, and the Vice President of Sales - John wanted to even try to fight and he became angry by clinching his fist and grinding his teeth and became aggressive in his stance and tone. There is no quality in this home and Cindy the superintendent is worthless. Things are slowly getting done months and months later thanks for John S and Tad. our house AC flooded 2 months after moving in. It was a horrible experience and hardly anyone helped us get things resolved until the Regional Manager stepped in. Ken did an incredible job but all other employees of Lennar that I talked to seemed uninterested and negligent while our home was flooded.

I have been dealing with an open issue at my new home since we closed on 10/21/2020. I have in writing that if the front and back yard does not grow correctly, Lennar will replace. I have a huge gap in my front door, I was told the part is on back order and they will get back to me soon. its been 6 months that we have lived with a gap that you can see daylight from, 6 months. they are unfilled holes in the front of the house above the garage, the front shingles were put on with very little workmanship! Waist of my VA home loan

If I could do this all over again I would definitely go with a different builder. The home that me and my wife purchased was very cheaply built. I waisted my VA home loan and I wouldn't recommend anybody to buy a home from them. They use cheap contractors to build and fix things so you pretty much get way less than what you pay for. I've been complaining about different issues shortly after moving in.

They did not kelp their promise to fix things before closing. And they even did not fix things after closing. Never buy new from them or will not sign closing documents only after they fix everything.
