This was a HORRIBLE experience especially as a first time homebuyer. I understand delays because of COVID, but no reason for the craftsmanship to be so poor. I can’t even get in contact with anyone to come out and fix the piece in our contract that they legally have to fix and we closed 3 months ago! The communication has been TERRIBLE after we signed our commitment. Closing kept getting delayed because no one wanted to do their job. There was so much trash including beer cans on the property during building. I would NEVER recommend a Lennar home.

I submitted warranty requests more than 20 days ago, still haven't heard back from Lennar. Family room marble window sill still broken in two pieces. BTW, no one ever lived in this townhouse. All the defects are caused by the builder or sub-contractor.

Exterior and interior construction was rushed and shoddy. Construction manager and supervisor lied so much to homeowners on what they've promised they were going to do. My cabinet has a cracked before moving in September and still waiting on replacement. Still waiting on lanai to be installed as well. It's almost February now and nothing has been done. They put so many tapes to all over the house to remind them which ones needed attention and all they did was took them off. Nothing has been done. I will never reccomend Lennar. What I will recommend is a class action lawsuit against ...

How long does it take for cosmetic repairs? I was off from work 5 days for closing and I spent another 5 days after Christmas waiting for technicians to complete the scheduled job request. I communicated with Lennar staff voicing my concerns and was advised I need to schedule another request Monday through Friday? Would I recommend Lennar- absolutely not. I put down 20% and this is what I get! No not happy at all.

The house was not finished but was told it would be after two weeks of closing.How to make multiple phone calls to get a ceiling fan in an additional Outlet in garage. The floor was an atrocious after touch up painting was done. Also pointed out additional spots were touch up paint need to be done this was not completed either. The floor was notoriously gross and had to call and Stanley steamer to get the floor done this was a battle with Lennar. I would recommend having everything done prior to signing papers and not putting anything Off. Denise a sales lady was the most helpful.

I have worked with several other builders and this home buying experience with Lennar by far is the worst. Builder rushed closing when the house was technically not ready. Lots of issues were promised to be fixed by move-in and ended up taking over months. Severe plumbing issues were found and quality of workmanship and materials is way below standard. I will never buy another house from Lennar again.

It is sad to see that the so called “Construction manager” don’t care about the construction but to have the “job” done. I closed in November and I did not even get a welcome package until this week. The sales team is excellent (Ali Meye) and they care even after the sales is done. I really wish somebody from Lennar with some kind of power within the company could contact me and go to home. Nobody gives us a name or a phone number where to call and how to solve the problems. I am in conversation with a new rep. Lennar Title was so bad and the experience with closing ruined the experience of home buying. It took 4 hours to close because they were so backed up. The woman was so rude and we did it from my car. The quality of appliances is so bad, they are pieces of crap and I wish I just got some cash instead. Still unresolved issues.

New Home buyer please do not do with Docu sign procedure, never get chance to review purchase documents. Sales person high light few things and get you to sign documents, once documents sign and if we question about things to be done in the house, we will get to hear that you sign documents!!!

Lennar is one of the worst companies I have even dealt with. There were and still are so many issues with our home and when a claim is submitted nothing happens. When we eventually get contacted for a claim we are told that it’s a cosmetic issue or it’ll be MONTHS before they can do anything. I go out of my way to tell my friends and family to think twice before buying with Lennar because they do not care about they customers. DO NOT BUY FROM LENNAR - unless you want to waste your money and time.

How awful the support and timeliness of fixing issues that shouldn’t even exist because of the poor workmanship of the builder

Do your research. I have been in my home for almost 4 months and still have things getting fixed. From a chunk missing from stairs to broken tile throughout the house. Poor workmanship seems to be a trademark of Lennar and the customer service is even worse.

Let me start by saying from the time I've dealt with the sales team all the way through to the Customer Care Team was a horrific experience. I bought my home in July 2021 and we are now in November 2021 and the defects in my brand new home have still not been completed. my bathroom shower pan was defected and it took 4 weeksand attempts with Lennar and Stewart tiling to completed the reinstallation on my shower pan. the time were poorly affixed after installing a new shower pan. I know now I would never hire anyone from Stewart Tiling or purchase a new home from Lennar. I really have to say ...

Absolutely horrible experience. Horrible Quality , customer service, and the Vice President of Sales - John wanted to even try to fight and he became angry by clinching his fist and grinding his teeth and became aggressive in his stance and tone. There is no quality in this home and Cindy the superintendent is worthless. Things are slowly getting done months and months later thanks for John S and Tad. Lennar - Poor Workmanship

Sales Agent did not disclose property was in a flood zone. Lennar Mtg Rep figures was way off and was not meeting VA guidelines. Was forced to sign punch list stating everything was completed to be able to close. If punch out list not signed it would cost the us the buyers. Lennar promised to complete the pending items on the list from April 2021 and it is now August 2021 and we are still waiting after several request made. Very disappointed with Lennar and will never refer Lennar to anyone.

our house AC flooded 2 months after moving in. It was a horrible experience and hardly anyone helped us get things resolved until the Regional Manager stepped in. Ken did an incredible job but all other employees of Lennar that I talked to seemed uninterested and negligent while our home was flooded.

Water leak in the house

Two days after we moved in, we found the bottom of our kitchen cabinets were wet. We contacted Lennar right away and they left us without water for 24 hours and drilled through the concrete to find the leak. Three weeks later, it turned out there was another leak which was the result of an unconnected AC pipe from the second floor, flooding the kitchen for a month. Lennar only blamed their contractor, Bayonet Plumbing, the entire time. 30+ people came in and out of our brand-new home for a month, leaving us impossible to stay home due to the construction in the kitchen.
