Was left with dead SOD, every day I discover a new issue with the house. When I moved my stove there was a huge hole on the wall which I’m sure allows for uninvited guest (bugs) to make their way into the house. When we contact them for issues they don’t respond in a timely manner

Are house buying experience with Lennar was relatively easy! Buying a home can be one if the most stressful things you ever so! Lennar made it easy in a lot of ways!

After living in the house for a couple of months, my wife and I notice that there are paint spatters on the carpets and other flat surfaces, uneven floors on the second floor, poor grout cleanup on floor tiles through out the house. Agreed that these items are not huge issues (except for the uneven floors upstairs) but with these issues, 5 stars is not possible.

While the sales contact I worked with did seem like a used car dealer, he did stay late to get the sale. Lennar hasbeen caught with their hands in the cookie jar a few times. Lennar owns Eagle Mortgage and Eagle Mortgage owns the appraisal company. This allows them to get to closing quickly, which is very nice for the buyer. It also makes it very easy for lennar to put loan packages together that it shouldn't. I am lucky, most of the process was easy and efficient. It's not the best build quality in the final touches, but it is a solid house.

We were excited to be buying a brand new home in a great community. We trusted our construction manager that they were resolve issues and unfortunately we are now five months later and still battling to have items fixed. Do not trust them and get everything in writing.

Buying a home with Lennar was a good experience. Anessa the Lennar rep is what truly made it worthwhile. Other than that I have not had any issues so far except for not enough coats of paint on the wall and having to kill bugs inside the house due to them leaving windows open etc while building the houses.

I am a repeat customer with Lennar and this experience was not at all like my first one. So many things were wrong with the house and we purchased in May. I was built too fast and no one paid attention to details. I would not recommend Lennar to anyone

I bought a lennar home in Las Vegas, NV and now in Riverview. The only benefits is all inclusive. Cleanliness, responsiveness to problems, and customer service are almost non existent.

I never take these surveys but always will for Lennar. Out experience has been atrociously poor. 1 star is not a low enough rating. Ridiculous amount of issues with house and horrible customer service.

I was initially pleased with watching our home being built from the ground up however as it came time to close on the property things started going Awry. We picked out a corner lot and was advised by the agent this would all be our land. As they lay the sod we began to notice they weren’t filling in the corner side of the home. As we did our first walk through blue taping things that would need to be completed before move in the house was covered with blue tape. When we came back to complete our final walk through we noticed hardly anything was completed. Our home was still covered in blue tape with we met with the head guy who apologized for the work not being done no excuse this happened to be our closing day. While going over the unfinished items I asked about the side of the home not being completed with sod it was then after paying an additional $2500 for a corner lot we were advised it didn’t belong to us and they couldn’t rezone the area. My neighbor owns the same amount of land that I do but $2500 less to not have a neighbor on side of them?? After informing them this was the reason we purchased the corner lot because we have a small child and would be throwing birthday parties and family gatherings. I was then told I could still use the property for those things. Needless to say about a month later they put all kind of landscaping making it impossible to use the land. Not to mention other things that were wrong with the home like cabinets, paint, uneven windows, first floor isn’t cool as second floor just to name a few. With a promise and handshake we were assured all things would be taken care of and we could close on the home with no worries. Totally awesome experience, I’m telling everyone About the easy stress free process of home buying with Lennar .

We have been running into some cosmetic issues which we addressed immediately especially since the warranty would expired whiting a year. After that you on your own This is a beautiful house that has mostly everything we were looking for base on our family dynamics.

Lennar is a very good builder. You see what you get. Easy to deal with and responsive . Customer service is the best

I closed on my new Lennar home at the end of May, 2019. Shortly after I moved in, there were several problems discovered, one being a water leak inside the home, most of the other issues were relatively minor. The customer relations team member assigned to me, Rick, has been amazing at responding to my tickets and working to get the problems corrected. However, the contractors that come out to fix the issues have been my biggest problem. They do not want to be flexible and only want to come M-F from 8-3, that is when a vast majority of customers are working. Since I have started a new job, I am not able to take PTO or leave work early to be home. It has been a major inconvenience!! A couple of times, the contractors have been scheduled to come out to correct a problem and they just don’t show up at all! They have no care or consideration for us as the customer!!! My recommendations to Lennar: first, get better contractors in the beginning to do the work right the first time. I have had a new build before (different company) and didn’t have nearly the amount of problems. Secondly, have better quality controls in place so that most of the issues can be caught and corrected BEFORE the homeowner moves in! Third, when your customers do have problems, find contractors who are willing to meet the demand of the customers and can work more flexible schedules! While it costs Lennar a lot of money to build homes and correct mistakes, there is still a huge profit margin (if not, why stay in business?). Lennar - you need to take care of your customers and provide quality homes, not a home that is slapped together in a couple months with very little quality control checks! After looking as so many home builders from DR.Horton , Pulte , Meritage ,GLHomes and a few others we decided to go with Lennar , Why? Because Lennar builds the best homes and gives you the most incentives that any other builder can offer . Lennar staff is very friendly and always willing to help you and answer all your questions and concerns . We had the pleasure to meet and deal with Vanessa at the Enclave , Meadow Point IV and afternoon she showed us the house we knew that it will be our home . It all starts with lies. First, they sent you emails stating you need to change all utilities before the closing date only to allow you to be responsible for all the water and electricity used to finish the home. Then, you are faced with a high bill to congratulate you on your new home. Many minor issues you begin to see in the home that you didnot grasp during the 20 minute walk thru. All good and beautiful till you add a service to your home and then they claim you violated your warranty and they scratch it off the list as if you screwed yourself and they were waiting for you to fall. They are very quick to respond to issues but all issues are never resolved. They use companies that are only in their favor. I moved in April and already the paint outside is chipping. CANNOT WAIT TO SELL AND BUY SOMEWHERE ELSE. ... More

This isn't my first home with Lennar and I was very happy with my previous purchase but not so happy with my recent purchase. The home has had numerous problems including roof leak. I'm very unhappy and filled with buyer remorse. This will be my last Lennar home.

The liaisons to the customer makes all the difference. Ours was stellar.
