There were minor hiccups along the way, like a slight problem with getting a later appointment for the walkthroughs date and a few unexpected repairs that popped up during the inspection. Everything went good like it supposed to be

The builder offered its own financing, gave us a great price and it was all done in a month.

Unfortunately, I had the worst and most humiliating experience buying a home with Lennar. If they wanted to know about my two-year consecutive employment history, why didn't they ask me at the beginning? I understand that the FHA process is rigorous, but the procedure adopted by Lennar was terrible. I have never been so disrespected regarding my professional career as I was during this purchase process. Lennar asked me how I got a job at an American company if I had no “recent” experience in business or team management. Have they never heard that when a professional moves to another country, they need an adaptation period, and the career “gap” is completely acceptable for companies looking for qualified professionals? I sent all the evidence used in my EB2NIW process (which was approved two years ago and approved by a US federal agency) and they still kept asking me if I really had this experience, because the underwriter was not convinced that after 4 years out of his/her field of work, a professional cannot have a “gap” in his/her career and return to doing what he/she used to do even though he/she has 16 years of experience in the field in which he/she works. Overall, we have had a great experience with Lennar. We had “one bad day” on the day we moved in but after that, everything has gone smoothly. We HAVE recommended Lennar and unless something drastic happens, will continue to do so in the future.

Unfortunately, the workmanship and materials were severely lacking in our new home. We had multiple issues that could have been avoided if the proper time was taken. I feel as though the priority in this new community is quantity of homes built versus the quality of those homes. However, I will say that the responsiveness to the issues that were brought to their attention was, for the most part quick.

Quick and on time .

Josh (onsite project coordinator) was helpful. Finance team had way too many people and handoffs. We had to submit the same documents multiple times. Also, our closing date was mixed up due to all of the different players. The house was significantly cheaper than other builders in the neighborhood. However, you get what you pay for. It's like we purchased a brand new Fixer-Upper with all of the modifications and upgrades we are having to make.

The process was easy. The entire team was responsive and professional every step of the way,even after closing.

The purchasing experience was smooth and organized. My only issue is the amount of registering required for each Mirada association after purchase. This is my second Lennar home. I would recommend Lennar if you are looking to purchase a new home.

No problem with my home

We went from we’re just taking a look at an open house to unexpectedly buying a new construction home. For years we had been eyeing Medley homes for when the time was right. Then we met with Joe and we went over all the incentives and before you knew it we were putting a down payment. The entire purchasing process went incredibly smooth. Everything was transparent and amazing communication from everyone involved. We used Lennar Mortgage and title and it was all seamless. I’ve worked in the mortgage industry in the past and know home buying perils. I was completely in shock at how smooth everything went as they prepared us for everything. Have been in the house for over a month and just last week entered three work orders and was impressed at how fast all were fixed. Really have nothing but praise so far. Be make sure to have a good Lender that will help you out through the process. Steve the first lender we had from Lennar quits on us. and I feel that he didn’t do his best to help us get the house. the 2nd lender we had outside Lennar was one of the best and she helped us get our dream home. But whatever happened Lennar still one of the good builders I know.

Working with John Malone at Lennar was one of the best parts of buying our new home. From day one, John was attentive, straightforward, and genuinely committed to helping us find the right fit. He never made us feel rushed or pressured — instead, he listened closely to what we wanted and offered thoughtful guidance based on our needs. What really stood out was how organized and responsive he was. Anytime we had a question or needed clarification, John got back to us quickly with clear answers and helpful solutions. This is my second Lennar purchase. The actual home buying experience was Rocki, and there was turnover in the personnel that I worked with that complicated the situation. Ultimately, we were able to resolve all of the hiccups and closed. The folks at Lennar Title were very pleasant and responsive. The Lennar mortgage team was more hit and miss. I did not feel that the homebuyer orientation covered everything that it should have, but I’m happily settling in. And generally pleased with the purchase.

Entire purchase experience was miserable.

The finance people, and sales person was awesome. The concierge person seemed a bit unorganized or lost. Wasn't told to switch sprinklers and ended up with a water bill of $2,000. Many blue tape items were not addressed.

The initial buying experience was great, Phil and Jennifer did a great job getting me looked after. There were several issues with the features of the house that I was nit happy at all with unknown to myself or the sales department.

It will be great when the pool and all of the construction, including the park across the street, are completed.

My experience with buying a home with Lennar was amazing. Everyone was friendly, knowledgeable, patients and always ready help. The home was delivered on time and exceeded our expectations. I highly recommend this team to anyone looking to buy a new home

Customer service has been excellent so far, and the walkthroughs with the builder representatives were extremely helpful. The level of some items are low grade and it would have been nice to be able to upgrade. For instance, the cabinets are cheap and don’t even have soft close hinges and drawer slides. The washer and dryer must be the most basic models and are very loud. The blown-in insulation in the attic appears to possibly be lacking. There is none over the garage. The darker color of the garage doors are nice, but they soak up heat from the Sun and turn the garage into an oven. The paver driveways are very nice but also too narrow. ... More

All in all our experience was not too bad was very disappointed that the sales person did not tell us of another property same model that was available because she didn’t think we’d want to be on a corner lot. I only found out because I looked at the on line map on the availability and noticed that there was a corner unit available for less than what we were going to pay!

While initially the salesperson at the development seemed professional and caring about our needs, as soon as a purchase contract was signed they were no where to be found. The followup from our concierge and construction manager were horrible. Felt completely as though we we a number, used only to get Lennars quarterly revenue booked and after that just dismissed. I wouldn't do it again.

Overall good experience, good communication and great people from the realtor, mortgage broker to the title company.
