Had us put earnest money down, told us they that we could sell the house we were in then continue the purchase process on the new build only to inform us that we had 5 days to sell our home or we would miss out on the new home. Watched the home be built and showed our 5 kids as well, hired a fence company only to be blindsided. Stay away from Lennar neighborhoods

The process was smooth overall. Minor is*****s involving quality.

Everyone is professional and very friendly. They act with a sense of urgency and are very thorough. The staff always returns your calls and are very helpful. When you purchase a home from them you receive the upmost value when purchasing a home.

Not impressed with the quality of work. There is still on going construction and trash everywhere. Definitely not appealing when you are trying to sell homes.

Overall, the home buying experience was positive, except the closing. We did not get a lot of information that we expected, and the attorneys were not very organized.

The process of purchasing the home was good. The overall quality of the home so far is ok but I have had issues with my dishwasher and it has not been fun going back and forth between Lenar and Electrolux, the weather stripping on the front door was trash, and all the items that were identified in the walk through were not fixed as promised.

In the first two weeks of living in the house, i'm very fond of the floor plan and the quality of the finish. the house is very well insulated and the appliances provided with the house r four in excess of standard builder quality appliance.

Buying a home here has been a lesson in the difference between "sales promises" and actual workmanship. While the brochures highlight premium selections, the execution is fundamentally flawed. The most glaring issue is the rampant screw pops throughout the drywall. By definition, workmanship refers to the quality of skill and care applied to a task. When screws are overdriven, spaced improperly, or misaligned with studs, it is a textbook workmanship defect. These aren't just "settling" issues; they are failures in the installation method that should be covered under any standard one-year workmanship warranty. Unfortunately, this builder treats these structural finish failures as minor inconveniences rather than a breach of their duty to provide a defect-free product. The community conditions are equally disappointing. Living here during continued construction has been a nightmare due to: Total Lack of Cleanliness: The site is consistently littered with construction trash and debris that drifts into occupied yards. Subcontractor Conduct: There is zero courtesy from the crews. They block driveways, ignore noise ordinances, and show no respect for the families already living here. The most frustrating part is the complete lack of follow-up. From the sales office to the construction supervisors and the warranty team, communication is non-existent once you close. You are essentially ghosted the moment the keys are handed over. Lennar’s mortgage lender was absolutely terrible. Celebration walk thru was knowledgeable. Cosmetic defects were not fixed/ repaired that we requested.

My experience with getting my home was everything! The communication & flexibility they offered me was just excellent! I recommend if you’re buying a home for it to be a LENNAR home. They treated me just like family & to still keep in contact is pure love! So pleased with everything they had for me!

This was a hit and missed experience for me. By this I mean some pleasant and not so pleasant. My house was already built and ready for sale some features were okay and others were not my choice but I accept them anyway. Overall it was a fast paste experience and lots of knowledge gained.

Moved in with a broken dryer, electric outlet wrong voltage, defective switch and floor gap

My wife & I visited a lot of 55+ communities between SC-NC-FL & GA. We focused only on Moving ready types of single family homes. The models by Lennar captured our heart as the floor plan matches everything we were looking for. The Master Bedroom, the 2 guess rooms, the open kitchen & living room space were perfect. The key room was the dining room as it was big enough to fit all we had from our home in NY. They used good quality materials and offer an excellent warranty package for both indoor & outdoor. The mortgage process itself was incredibly smooth and definitely a 5-star experience; the team made that part very easy. However, regarding the house quality, I have mixed feelings. While the home is decent overall, the workmanship is "good" when it could have been great. For a home price of over $500k, I expected much more attention to detail, specifically in the bathrooms and kitchen. We noticed that the tiles are not level in some areas, and the grout and caulking work could be significantly better. Overall, it is an okay home, but not something to brag about. Hard to contact responsible party.

This is my second new construction purchase and Lennar EXCEEDED my expectations. The team from start until closing made me feel heard!

We started our Lennar experience on a very positive note with Ty, the on-site sales representative. Everything went down hill from there. We were contacted via email by sooo many different Lennar representatives that we couldn’t keep track of who needed what and when. Every document required electronic signatures with no or very little explanation. Oliver, our loan officer was very good but the volume of paperwork was overwhelming. Moving on, our home celebration was anything but a celebration. The Lennar rep, Kendra, made what should have been a joyful day absolutely miserable. She has NO interpersonal skills and was focused on getting our celebration done ASAP. Instead of focusing on the positives she focused on what Lennar would not do to make our experience better. Since our closing the builder, Heath, has gone out of his way to avoid us while his associate Hayden, has been very helpful. Speaking of helpful I can’t say enough good things about Rob in the warranty department. Wow… he is great. Our water heater failed almost immediately, the plumbing pipes under the kitchen sink unnecessarily takes up the entire cabinet. We currently have an open warranty item on the HVAC which short cycles and makes a very loud harmonics noise. Our first water bill was $199.00 and we weren’t even living in the house yet, we suspect that Heath was watering our neighbors yard from our house. This month I turned off the outside faucets and our water bill is $42.00. The HOA is very slow responding to request for exterior changes. Heidi, the salesperson, is excellent to work with. She has guided very well. Kiwan, the construction engineer, is amazing; he provides great customer service.

Incomplete and Substandard Work • The house was not properly painted only a primer coat was applied, which is completely unacceptable for a new home. • The shower door installed is incorrect and does not match what was agreed upon or expected. • Drywall (sheetrock) throughout the house is already cracking and separating, which indicates poor workmanship or materials. • Windows are not sealed properly, potentially leading to energy inefficiency and water damage and mold. • There are serious ventilation issues that affect air quality and comfort. • The HVAC system is deficient and either not functioning correctly or improperly installed. • Roofing defects have already emerged, raising concerns about water intrusion and long-term durability 2. Ignored Notifications I notified your team of these problems within the first 30 days of moving in well within any reasonable defect liability or warranty period. Instead of resolving the issues promptly and professionally, I was given the runaround and excuses. No clear plan or commitment was made to correct these issues, despite multiple follow-ups on my end. 3. Loan Issues Additionally, the mortgage terms I agreed to are not what was ultimately finalized. The discrepancies have created significant financial stress and feel deceptive. I trusted your team to guide me through this process ethically, and I now feel misled. This entire experience has not only been stressful and disappointing, but it also feels like a breach of trust and good faith. I purchased a new home, and what I received is far below what was promised and paid for. In addition to the physical problems with the home, there are major concerns regarding the loan process. The mortgage terms I agreed to were not what was ultimately finalized. Most critically, my 20% down payment was not properly reflected or credited in the finalized loan documents. This discrepancy has created significant financial stress and appears to be a serious oversight if not a deliberate misrepresentation. I had a two time ill experience with Summer who was processing my loan. Overall, my experience with Lennar was smooth and everyone I interacted with was very kind and professional except Summer. A document was requested of me which I could not obtain because nothing existed from the government site I was told to obtain it from. Because of the current climate in the government, I could not reach a person to help me secure a notification. Unfortunately, when I try to explain this this summer several times she was condescending and let her frustration come out in her tone with me. At some point, my interaction was with her manager/ream lead contacted me and he was much more professional and no condescending. This happened without me even saying anything. Really good overall experience with the purchase and follw up.

I had high hopes when I purchased my home from Lennar, but unfortunately, the experience during and after closing has been very disappointing. 1. Seller’s Credit Issue at Closing: Lennar attempted to reduce the agreed-upon seller credit at the last minute, just before closing. Despite our persistence, we were finally able to get the full credit restored, but this caused a significant delay during closing at the attorney’s office -- an incredibly stressful and unprofessional situation for what should have been a smooth process. 2. Driveway and Garage Issues: Within just a week of closing, my driveway started showing signs of damage with visible breakages and multiple pop-outs. The garage floor is experiencing the same issue. Despite raising multiple service requests through the Lennar portal, they were closed without proper resolution or even a thorough assessment. 3. Mailbox Key Handover Delay: I did not receive my mailbox key until three weeks after closing. This only happened after repeated follow-ups and personal visits to both Lennar’s office and the USPS—something that should have been streamlined as part of the handover process. 4. Backyard Grading and Water Logging: The grading in the backyard was done poorly. Whenever it rains, water collects and gets logged in certain areas. Again, multiple service requests were submitted, but Lennar management simply dismissed them, claiming this issue is not covered under warranty, despite it being a construction-related flaw. Overall, my experience with Lennar’s post-sale service has been frustrating and disappointing. What should have been an exciting and smooth transition into a new home has turned into a series of unresolved issues and broken commitments.
