The whole lennar process is designed to optimize their company’s benefit at the expense of the customer. They have rules / restrictions / policies which make the entire experience awful for owners (this includes home buying, inspections, closing, lennar mortgage, and warranty). I will not buy another lennar home.

please read reviews prior to purchasing from this builder. They are not off. I wish I had. my comments are all based off things I experienced and NOT what I saw on a review. I didn't see a review until the closing and then realized I was experiencing just what was being described from multiple reviews online

Poor Grading of Lot

I have been attempting to get resolution regarding grading issues with my lot. I have experienced standing water for greater than 24 hours after a normal rain within 10 feet of my home's foundation. This is an issue with the standard noted under the warranty. The warranty states the builder is responsible for at least one attempt to correct this issue. I have only been in my home since July 2021 and have attempted to communicate with customer care for the past 3 months. I have been told several times that a landscaper will come to assess the grading; however, this has not happened to date. I ...

Initial process was great, however we still have punch and warranty items left open after 4 months from closing. There is no sense of urgency or communication regarding a resolution. I have to call and hassle only to be told “I’m waiting on my manger, so I can give you the correct answer “. It seems like Lennar has left Dunwoody Village in their rear view mirror.

House is OK materials are on the cheap side. Workmanship kind of haphazard. Ignores questions about amenity completion and landscaping of common areas, no one takes responsibility for these issues. Have been ignored by Builder Customer Care and HOA representatives or have received conflicting answers to other questions.

I had to close on my house with over 30 things still needing to be fixed by the builder. They return 3 month later to fix a few things. Currently my garage door does not look like the house houses in the community and my dish washer has never worked since I bought the house. A lot of minor issues I will have to hire someone to fix for me later. This was not a good experience.

Once you get the CO and move in, the work that should have been fixed was not completed on our home. I plan to start with work order for each of the items not completed.

The location was key. I like the look of the townhouses but the roads and parking in the complex was not repaved, the gates and fences were not finished and many of the wires around the complex were not buried. Lots of outdoor things not completed when it was stated they would be done upon building of the houses.

Very difficult to get repair work completed. We also have a common area behind our property that we were told would be cleaned up and landscaped when we closed. We have been in our home for 4 months and cannot get the area cleaned up. It is very embarrassing.

When I have filled a complaint it has been addressed promptly. I do have a problem in the quality of some of the construction grade materials: appliances, ceiling fans, flooring, interior doors, paint windows etc. I would have been agreeable to pay upgrades to get better quality.

For the most part my experience was excellent, and I appreciate Hunter Hadley’s assistance in trying to have issues corrected. He was the only person I dealt with any of these issues, so I really can’t rate anyone else with Lennar regarding my home purchasing experience.
