my home buying experience was not pleasant. I felt like I was a number, I was told more than once, if you don't want it, there are others that do...way to make one feel welcome. Workmanship was an issue, ongoing, especially dry wall. I had to fight every step of the way to get things done somewhat correctly...no specialty items, just how it should have been done to begin with. If it had not been for BILLY, I would have walked away. He was the only person that was honest and listened to what I had to say. We had a hard closing date that Lennar would not budge on even though the house wasn't move in ready. It's been 2 months since closing and our issues have not been resolved yet. The construction manager had made promises that he couldn't deliver on. Not a good look for a national builder like Lennar.

Bad customer service

I had to close on my house with over 30 things still needing to be fixed by the builder. They return 3 month later to fix a few things. Currently my garage door does not look like the house houses in the community and my dish washer has never worked since I bought the house. A lot of minor issues I will have to hire someone to fix for me later. This was not a good experience.

Cindy at east highland Lilburn the new house sale agent was very unprofessional never called me for walk through never returned any of my calls Very bad experience. First time my walk through got cancelled she never informed me second time she never confirmed my walk through time. She were not helpful at all.

Terrible finishing work

Literally every single piece of crown molding in my house has split and separated from the wall and we have only lived here for 6 months. There is a wall that is 2 inches slanted out in the middle of a hallway, the grinder pump wasn't installed properly and I spent a full day fixing it myself. Cal-Atlantic had a great design, Lennar however is terrible at execution. Shooty work all over and no pride taken in the craft. So many warranty issues I have to deal with.

Poor Workmanship

Considering what I paid for the property the workmanship on the house is poorly done! The materials used (i.e cabinets are cookie cutter, flooring is cheap) are of the lowest quality of builders grade material! Thus totally unexceptionable!!

Lennar - Just know that if something is broken or not working properly

Just know that if something is broken or not working properly be prepared to wait a loooong time to have it fixed because of mishandled scheduling issues with subcontractors. Also, the repair work can only be done on week days forcing you to take days off from work only to have the workers not show up which is incredibly frustrating. It's been almost 6 months without a working master bedroom shower

The quality of the home is subpar I have been in my residence for less than 6 months and I have already had to have major repairs to my HVAC unit and I am still looking for compensation from Lennar. The poor craftsmanship is a direct correlation to excessive billing.

Not a great experience. There are couple of builders who are arrogant and not professional, they dont respect the customer at all and dont listen to them

The sales team has completely gone wrong on day1, They gave wrong info on which are basement lots and which are slab homes and completely messed up the sales during 1st week. The Mortgage team communication was worst as they did not give the loan estimates in time and just don't respond to customer calls. The quality of construction is worst and not up to mark of Lennar. Overall Lennar failed to deliver a quality product from sales to finish line!!

Bad - water leaks continuously from structure and still not fixed

Lennar has promised to fix several issues including leakage issue from the structure within 14 days of closing the house; however, it’s more than a month and I am still waiting on the fix. Builder has been responsive but it’s of no use when things don’t get fixed. We need some action and not just talks. Very Bad !! I don’t think after this I will recommend Lennar to anyone.

I have purchased two homes from this builder and my first experience was definitely not a good one. The person in charge of my house could care less about the quality of work being done. It has caused me great stress in trying to get my house in the shape that it should have been from the moment I walked in. There's really to much to write. My second house my builder was much better. Still some issues which I'm in the process of having taken care of. Thank goodness for the gal helping me on both houses as she has been a god send. She is getting things done properly.

Very poor attention to resolving “punch list” and warranty issues . We have been in the house for 4 months and major items still remain unresolved. Lennar has become completely unresponsive to our requests to resolve these matters.

Unfortunately Lennar is more focused on selling houses than building quality homes and providing good customer service. My closing date was moved up three weeks but my house had numerous items that needed to be fixed. I was assured they would be fixed after closing. Five months later, some of these items still haven’t been repaired. I submit warranty items that need to be addressed and nothing happens. Lennar eventually closes out the ticket like it’s been completed, but it hasn’t! This has happened numerous times so I eventually call customer service. It takes months to get things ...

Between AC not working day of move in after multiple issues prior to closing, ants, overall bad workmanship, shower needing to be replaced, sewage smell, faulty wiring, faulty plumbing, and almost everything being “not covered after closing. Would not recommend. They build these houses so fast and don’t care what happens after closing. Only nice people are the Sale Agents, after that it’s no good. If they do come out for “warrantable” defects, it’s “we’re doing you a favor”. Need some sense of responsibility.

Do not close on a home and believe that they will have things wrapped up when they say they will. Would not recommend.3 months in huge crack in ceiling doors won’t open on back of house. Lennar is production builder and it shows. Get them in and close.

I believe that the actual foreman, Luke, whom I dealt with was not the initial lead for my home. He (and Kelly in the sales office) was a pleasure to work with and they were both very attentive with any matter I brought to their attention. Once I moved in, I noticed the quality of the build was not the “Lennar” quality I’ve come to expect from the homes my friends built with Lennar in Texas.
