Overall had been below average, ok experience on an experience, high priced home, but, could have been a lot better.

Worst possible experience

I was deceived multiple times by various Lennar teams. First the lots were incorrectly classified and assigned incorrect lot though I was 2nd person to have the scheduled appointment. They never disclosed about a drainage easement. During development process again deceived multiple times with wrong promises and the same experience continued post closure. I wish I never bought a home with Lennar.

I'm a 3rd time Lennar Home Buyer and a Licensed Real Estate Agent. And this was the worst experience ever. Terrible construction quality, cheap choice of material and workmanship, unacceptable warranty service. The walkthrough coordinators lied on my face at every stage, instead of fixing the issues identified during the first walkthrough, they simply took the markers off and signed the final walkthrough on my behalf in my absence!!!! I can't even say how many dry wall and paint issues. They left all the issues unaddressed and on the day of the closing they knowingly didn't say a word when ...

Staff was 30 minutes late to walk through. Rude to me during walk through. Did THREE walk throughs for paint issues and they still never fixed many of the horrible looking spots on walls and baseboards. My $601,000 home looks like an absolute joke! Not to mention, I did not have a working oven for the first month of living here. Also, they were not prepared with paperwork and therefor made me wait at the attorneys office on my closing day for several hours. I would not recommend Lennar to my worst enemy.

Quality of workmanship&materials: A window was covered with sheet rock and went unnoticed until weeks after closing. Another builder acknowledged and took care of the issue. Painters were super messy, lots of paint dripping throughout the house. Did not hear from my builder. Trustworthiness: There was not a good repore with my last builder and I did not trust him. There were no apologies made for the mistake, he was not willing to suggest or recommend any product for grout; or provide model or serial numbers for appliances to be registered after taking pictures and saying they would send ...

My INTERESTING experience with Lennar

I’ve been completely and utterly unhappy with my home purchase. Since buying a Lennar home, I’ve had a gas leak, my floors seem like they are sinking in, and plumbing seems to be a problem. My home has been riddled with problems. If you're looking to buy a home, I would suggest you do a thorough investigation on the builder before you buy. I wish everyday I could get my money and time back.

Lennar - Worst experience ever.

Worst experience ever. Showed up day of closing to complete punch walk review and then head to closing. Show up and nothing on punch list was completed. Construction PM left as he had prior obligations. Never mentioned that we did not have a CO and couldn’t close. After waiting for over hour and half for someone else to show up to walk home ( no one ever did ) we get a call that CO won’t happen for another 5 days. This was 30 minutes before closing at lawyers office. Also found out that they don’t detail clean houses prior to closing and it’s new owners responsibility to have detailed clean, ...

The whole lennar process is designed to optimize their company’s benefit at the expense of the customer. They have rules / restrictions / policies which make the entire experience awful for owners (this includes home buying, inspections, closing, lennar mortgage, and warranty). I will not buy another lennar home.

please read reviews prior to purchasing from this builder. They are not off. I wish I had. my comments are all based off things I experienced and NOT what I saw on a review. I didn't see a review until the closing and then realized I was experiencing just what was being described from multiple reviews online

They gave me windows that are damaged and refusing to fix it, garage floor uneven , sheetrocks with holes in it, horrible workmanship, their refusal to fix anything. It is appalling. Do not buy from Lennar.
