Purchasing a home from Lennar

This has been one of the worst home-buying experiences In which I have ever participated. Terrible, sub-par workmanship from especially the woodworkers, painters, And cabinet maker/installer.

1. Customer service representatives have extremely poor service, closed service tickets with out get job done. Very lack responsiveness! 2. Quality of all kitchen equipments poor and malfunction, customer service has no knowledge of how to fix it and refused replace malfunction machine. 3. The quality of the town home does not match to the value or worth for the purchase. 4. The quality construction poor- regrettably made wrong decision. The existing homeownerS are not not happy!

maintenance service is very bad

Worst maintenance service. Tickets are not resolved for months. They just close the tickets without fixing the issues. New house car garage has big cracks. No hot water for first 1 week. Patios are NOT properly cleaned. Lot of dents in each step of the stair case. Kitchen shelfs are not properly fixed, still not fixed after 3 months.

Poor materials and worse craftsmanship. Not trustworthy. They don’t deliver on their commitments. Their contractors are inefficient and extremely wasteful. I would not recommend Lennar communities.

Extremely bad quality construction and too many issues with new homes. And would not recommend and reference Lennar homes to anyone. Stay away from this builder new home construction.

Lennar bit more than they could chew when they took over Cal Atlantic

After moving into my first new home, I quickly learned that I should have done much more research on homebuilders before signing the initial contract. 15 of 17 of my neighbors, myself included, who all bought brand new $400k+ townhomes, have had the WORST first home buying experience with Lennar. Starting from our unreliable and gossiping builder to the terrible corporate warranty request process and service. During closing, the real estate attorney even stated that many other buyers have had similar complaints and issues with Lennar. While sharing my home despairs, I also learned of a family ...

Poor follow thru after sale

My home wasn’t ready prior to close. They had approximately 30 items on the checklist that needed to be addressed and corrected prior to close. I already sold my other home and needed to move. I had movers lined up to do so after I closed on my Lennar home. They asked me to close even know they were not close to complete and asked me for 3 additional days to finish the items we agreed to that were on my list to close. I should of trusted my better judgment & not close until the work had been completed. I closed & ended up moving into an unfinished incomplete home. They changed builders ...

Terrible builder

I have been in my house 4 months. The dishwasher, disposal and both thermostats had to be fixed or replaced. My roof has had to be fixed as well as my gutters. I think they are terrible builders, but they have fixed the items. Just seems it would be better if they did it right the first time instead of causing all the aggravation.

I bought a model home from Lennar.

They gave me windows that are damaged and refusing to fix it, garage floor uneven , sheetrocks with holes in it, horrible workmanship, their refusal to fix anything. It is appalling. Do not buy from Lennar.
