We love our new home at Candleberry Place! Denise, the sales agent, recommended the perfect home for us, she was so helpful and really listened to what we were looking for! She is a great asset to Lennar! Haney, the operations manager, was also very helpful when we purchased our home. He listened to my concerns about some minor problems with the home, and he had them corrected right away! He was easy to get in touch with, and followed thru with any concerns we had. Our house has all the latest amenities and we are glad we moved here!

House itself is great, but Lennar used it for equipment storage and as a some sort of break room for a few months, and now, after a close rushed by Lennar, all we hear is, “Do you have that in writing?” and, “Can’t do anything about it after the close.”

Good communication, save on the day of closing my final home walkthrough was scheduled at 9:30a and closing was scheduled at 10:00am. The locations were 45 min apart, so I missed my final walkthrough.

Considering this is a 55+ community the access to the A/C unit is in the attic. OK if you have a 2 story model. I don’t but A/C is still in the attic with access pull down stairs in the master closet. The last step to reach the attic floor is approximately 3 feet. An extremely dangerous and for most older people impossible to accomplish. As a former Appraiser I have a reasonable understanding of building codes. Experience in rather disappointing, but since I have bought it there's no choice. For instance, any addition or modifications can only be done by their 3rd party contractors or warranty is voided. When contacted 3rd party for addition, they are charging 3 to 4 times higher.

My backyard is a swamp

I have a “swale” in my backyard that remains constantly wet, regardless of dry weather. Despite multiple dry days, the area never dries out. When I walked outside, I found not only standing water but also frogs and mosquitoes breeding in what has essentially become a stagnant puddle. I was assured by the builder and the seller that it was nothing to worry about but the issue has become worse and no one seems to want to help resolve the issue.

My experience was the worst probably in this community. I started off renting first. When I was renting I had an excellent experience in the community so I decided to start the process of buying. As I was looking around to different communities my husband wanted to stay in the same community we currently were looking into. He talked to the woman in the front office to see if or what we can do. She gave him a number to a man named Oliver. Oliver contacted and started the process. Lennar Homes is a typical large volume driven home builder. Cuts corners to keep cost down for them. Paint quality is horrible. Watered down paint is barely on the walls. Adding floodlights in front and back is great, but for $15 more per light they could have added motion sensors. Floors are uneven, baseboards are all over the place and not straight at all. Hardware on kitchen cabinets installed wrong. Fireplace is nice, but a blower to push the hot air out would have been a nice touch at a very low cost. Hello Team, Lennar is reputed builder but with zero quality on concrete. They basically don’t know how to use right concrete mix. Lack of engineering direction. All the appliances in our home are leaking. Ex : Refrigerator leak, Dishwasher leak. When we ask about concrete issues, customer service came and said sorry it’s a bad work may be done during the night time. We can’t do anything it is what it is. I was given two gate fobs about a week after I closed on my property and they do not work. Three different requests have been made to rectify this problem and I still haven’t heard back from the current HOA manager. The far gate remains open 24//7 but I would like to have this problem rectified as soon as possible. Also my name is not on the gate directory! Why is this when I closed on 12/20? Staff showed signs of incompetence, lies were told about the readiness of the property, loan officer was a fast talker, and often was delayed in response, closing attorneys were big liars and incompetent, onsite realtors told several small lies ( not Malcom). I’d never go with Lennar again or recommend. Emily is great! Promote her.

I purchased a house in 2024 at a Lennar 55+ community and am very happy with the company, their product and their employees. They communicated with me in a prompt manner and helped answer any questions I had along the way. The only thing that was bumpy was the Docusign process.

From my deposit being paid until the signing at closing is where my buying experience actually gains most of these 5 stars. My new home concierge was fantastic, greatly helped me navigate my mortgage, inspection, and set up processes. Additionally, my new home orientation walk through with Chad and Cody was fantastic. Both were exceptionally knowledgeable and genuinely cared about my home and fixing (the minor) issues that we noticed in final walk through.

Builder didnt share all the details of the property. After closing it has been 2 months and still didnt had mail box keys. Never this was disclosed till we close the home. No ETA for building swimming pool and cabanas that are in plan.. But still have to pay the full HOA amount which covers these maintenance costs. Overall I felt, chaulking is not done properly and when asked, the response is, it is standard. Have to escalate above some members I am interacting to get things done. Overall it left a very bad taste with this purchase experience.
