Not a great experience

Overall it wasn’t a great experience. I was not made aware of my lot boundaries even after closing, slates were not installed. Lot of my land is wasted because that I can’t even use and there are bushes and it’s not leveled. There is a slant on my backyard where Walter stagnates but every time I ask builder, he just come up with some reasoning. Bad design : hvac outer unit makes a lot of noise. And master bed room is right above it. You can’t even sleep it’s that much of noise. Same noise is there in the living room. That unit shouldn’t have been placed outside of living room.

As with any new build, you will have a lot of dirt and debris, but a lot of of the ground is rock. These homes go up very quickly and you have to stay on top of quality control.. Overall very satisfied with my purchase and responsiveness to issues.

For the price we pay for the home, you would think the quality would match however that isn’t the case. Not only did they rush to put it together, after we purchased the home before closing they were sloppy. We had a walk through and they still did not fix issues. Just removed some of the tape and acted like they did. Still to this day, we are finding tape they never addressed too. All around just think they are sloppy and want their money - not interested in having returning buyers bc they try to scam you.

First time buying Lennar home so not aware of negotiation. Me and my neighbors bought same model house around same time but they got 50k less than , what I paid. It is more than 10% discount they got. Even other side neighbor negotiated 70k on listed price. Now I am feeling like fool to buy this house.

As I’m living here I’m finding a lot of little things that could had been corrected. I do not think Lennar uses a quality assurance person to check their work. Examples: Uneven drywall Vents that shake and make noise Cracks in drywall Weeping holes that protrudes out the house Creaks in stairs weather strips falling off doors Entrance doors that won’t lock Chipping of cement in garage floor

Worst Construction Company in History

Probably the worst construction company I’ve worked with. False promises and poor construction quality. Promised us few things when signing the contract which were later modified to cheaper options / alternatives. We paid million dollars for this home and the quality and build materials are the cheapest ones on the market. Price gouging everywhere possible while not even providing bare minimum quality. False promises as well. Will never ever buy a Lennar home or recommend to any of my friends and family. You lost a customer.

My wife and I met Ms. Denise from driving around and looking at new communities, then walking in when possible. From the day we met Denise we knew we wanted to take this journey with she and Lennar, and that is exactly what we did. The overall experience was absolutely phenomenal. I was deceived multiple times by various Lennar teams. First the lots were incorrectly classified and assigned incorrect lot though I was 2nd person to have the scheduled appointment. They never disclosed about a drainage easement. During development process again deceived multiple times with wrong promises and the same experience continued post closure. I wish I never bought a home with Lennar.

Don’t Recommend Lennar Homes

Between AC not working day of move in after multiple issues prior to closing, ants, overall bad workmanship, shower needing to be replaced, sewage smell, faulty wiring, faulty plumbing, and almost everything being “not covered after closing. Would not recommend. They build these houses so fast and don’t care what happens after closing. Only nice people are the Sale Agents, after that it’s no good. If they do come out for “warrantable” defects, it’s “we’re doing you a favor”. Need some sense of responsibility.

The sales team has completely gone wrong on day1, They gave wrong info on which are basement lots and which are slab homes and completely messed up the sales during 1st week. The Mortgage team communication was worst as they did not give the loan estimates in time and just don't respond to customer calls. The quality of construction is worst and not up to mark of Lennar. Overall Lennar failed to deliver a quality product from sales to finish line!!

We had a great experience overall with Lennar at their Candleberry Place development. A lot of the finishes are good quality, with just a few things that were “cheap”. Master shower enclosure is flimsy, the fireplace could have been upgraded beyond builder grade, paint was Sherwin Williams, but flat - should have used eggshell or satin finish for the ability to clean. Love the appliances, counter tops, tub and shower tile, flooring, the garage is a nice size for two cars with room to walk around. The delayed opening of the pool has been disappointing.
