The location was key. I like the look of the townhouses but the roads and parking in the complex was not repaved, the gates and fences were not finished and many of the wires around the complex were not buried. Lots of outdoor things not completed when it was stated they would be done upon building of the houses.

Had a great time buying the house and love the aesthetic. The quality of the materials and workmanship is clearly low cost. Lots of little defects around the house that are noticeable. Responsive and promptness from the Customer Care team has been abysmal. Very difficult to get things fixed after you've purchased. Very disappointed with that aspect.

Please make sure you see your exact home before you purchase there was some confusion on the pitches versus what I received are what I thought I was gonna be receiving I had already signed my contract to build and then found I wasn't given everything that I seen on the picture so I had to pay an additional $1000 down and over 18000 more in upgrades to receive what I want other than this my home by an experience was great

I have struggled to get the "Exceptions/Punch List" worked on after closing. It is push and nag but still nothing. I am working on escalating now to see if I can get anyone at Lennar to respond and get the list of things completed.

The buying process was fantastic. Working with Lennar mortgage and salesperson was a great experience. However the process was rushed and the build reflects that. On the final walkthrough I did not see a completed house and had to go on faith the remaining items (gutters, weep holes, flooring) would all be addressed having to sign just a few hours later. It took 3 months to completely address the original exception list from the final walkthrough. Lots of sloppy job done. finished product is not up to the standard. I had to hire handyman to finish touchups needed. The home is not built with love. lousy paint job, imperfections in drywall, baseboards are not aligned with the floor properly. etc.

We are happy in the new house with lot of open issues. It was promised the exception issues will be closed in a month while closing , and still most of them are still open. Not sure if this survey is just a drama or will be taken seriously.

Overall, the experience has been pleasant. The finance side of the business went very well. But, from the time we completed our initial walk-through to now has not been so pleasant. I was told that Lennar doesn't complete a thorough cleaning of their properties. It's called "construction clean". So, we had to go through the entire property once we closed to clean all paint, tape, and sheetrock dust off of everything. Now, I have a warranty claim, and they are telling me it's homeowner maintenance. I am not pleased right now.

For the money you might expect better build quality. Switch plates that are not level, drawers that don't close right, stair rail supports that are not parallel, paint that is so thin you can see through it, concrete that is already cracked at move in, light fixtures not flush and falling out of the ceiling, support legs on the kitchen bar that wobble and don't support, windows that don't stay open, is that really a fireplace hearth, visible drywall joints, etc. Makes me wonder what's behind, or not behind the walls. They have been good to follow up, but it did take 2 months to get our second ...

I gave the overall buying experience only 3 stars because the closing date was postponed several times. When the actual date arrived I was nervous about closing because there was still a long punch list of things that were not yet completed/corrected. But I'm glad we went through with the closing. The wonderful foreman and sales office make up for the sloppy workmanship.

Can't say I'm surprised or disappointed with our experience so far with Lennar as we had fairly low expectations given the state of builders, build quality, and labor issues. I will express that for all the "issues" that have cropped up throughout the process, Lennar has been prompt to address them in a suitable time frame. Regardless, it still astounds me that there isn't more attention to detail during the build process so they didn't have to spend so much time, $$ and resources fixing things that could have prevented in the first place.

Non standard pricing on townhome designs and no quality of workmanship

There is no standard pricing on townhomes here as the prices are costlier for first time buyers versus investment home. Costlier prices for normal home than the upgraded homes. So, there is no standard trusted builder pricing as the prices going along the tide. Faster completion of homes, but no proper nailing & who knows what's gone inside the drywall !

The process to purchase within the neighborhood was entirely subpar. The agent who helped assist through the purchasing process almost made us not want to purchase the home- There was obvious flaws throughout the house (cracks in railing/misplaced and discolored carpet/ect) and the agent wouldn’t even acknowledge there were issues. Until we talked to a neighbor of their post-purchase experience we would not have moved forward with the purchase. The post-purchase process was phenomenal, however. Dusty and Lamar have been great. I'm mostly disappointed in how some of the homes in the neighborhood are maintained. I was surprised to learn the number of investment properties and rental that are in the subdivision. We have some houses were the grass has not been cut, dogs tied up in the front yards, basketball goals lying down in the front lawn, and couches in the garage where people just hang out with the garage door up. This is definitely not what I was expecting and I don't know what the homeowners association is doing. Overall, I'm just disappointed.
