We were very apprehensive about purchasing a home given numerous concerns about pricing, history, and quality of the homes available in addition to the unknowns of the various areas. Compared to several other similar home options across the Treasure Valley, the Lennar home yielded the best bang for my buck addressing the pricing concerns. We had a great RE Agent who helped us find the right style of Lennar home to fit our needs. We were from out of state and it helped with keeping up with updates and pictures to watch the progress. We're happy with our home. But we do need some follow through from Lennar to address and complete maintenance issues.

The moment i walked into and saw the Lennar model homes, I knew that I needed to buy one. Mostly because everything is included ...all appliances ....and a washer and dryer and blinds ....omg , wow! In addition, from the sales person in the model home all the way to closing escrow, Lennar had it extremely organized and kept me I formed every step.of the way until I got the keys in my hand. As a first time home buyer who went through this process unrepresented, I felt like overall, there was more to be desired. The pros I experienced were that the timeline was quick, and I did not experience any delays in closing. Things I have to note for areas of improvement are as follows. Communication - I was often the one reaching out to see what step we were at, if anything additional was needed from me, and what would be coming up next. My team was responsive, but I wish they were more proactive in communicating. Quality assurance - we were told that Lennar does not do the blue tape ...

I did not use Lennar‘s mortgage company, but used their escrow company. As a loan officer myself, I found their escrow to be lacking in service and responsiveness. The overall purchase experience was OK at best. Now that I’ve been in the home for over a month. I have requested several repairs through the Lennar website and it is going on eight weeks and the repairs have not been completed or scheduled. I have reached out to the Millwood homeowners association and have yet to receive a response from them as well. It’s been frustrating, and I’m hoping they make some improvements on the Customer ...

The person who submitted the contract did not tell me about when loan consanguineous needed to be met. The preferred lender never called, only emailed and missed appointment times and never told me about special offers expiring. It was difficult to close home when I needed it. Craftsmanship was just ok. Never received final walk through since I came from out of state. Would have helped a lot

We were always curious about Lennar and their workmanship, especially considering how many things they include with the purchase of their homes, almost as if they try to cover their behinds with flashy objects. But thankfully this is not the case! From start to finish it was a great experience, easy to work with, great quality, and we are very happy with our new home.

The home itself is great. Good build and no issues. However, if you are using Lennar as your finance loan company, I would rate an “F” . No follow up through the process. No responses to questions via email. Extended our move in date a full week, leaving us homeless. My out of pocket expenses for air bnb and storage of our belongings. I will NEVER recommend them as a mortgage company. Worst experience I have ever had.

The Arctic’s home buying experience was the wrist experience I’ve ever had and this is my 4th house. Not to mention the walk thru and inspections restrictions. I was not able to attend either of walk thru appointments because they refused to reschedule to accommodate my work schedule. Which the led to things not being done. I’ve already had several issues with the house including my door bell melting and smoking my garage door not being install properly as well as several other small issues like pan not being touched up, gauges in my walls that were not corrected. Not a good experience throughout the whole process

Overall they made it clear that they have a product and their budget that they needs to be met. The trades get alloted not enough time to do a good job which is notable There was a lot of delay when putting in offers which led to losing that initial house. They reduced a lot of the features of the home from one street to another in the same development.

Beware of build

You should know the experience of buying the home was smooth and easy. But after moving in we have had several major issues including cement steps that were not within code and having the included washing machine and dryer shaking the house so much many of our rooms have cracks in the seams in the ceiling and in the corners. Lennar states everything is structurally sound, but we have now involved a lawyer and other neighbors who are also experiencing this. A once dream experience is quickly becoming a mistake

Great up front experience - warranty issues dismissed without consideration

Overall home buying experience was good. The house looks nice and seems to be pretty quality for a new build in this day and Age. After moving into the house, I had an issue with the yard being improperly graded and a large puddle forming anytime the grass is watered or it rains.. The landscaping has a one year warranty, and I made a warranty claim which was promptly dismissed without anyone even coming to look at the yard or assessing it. I am doubtful that any warranty issues will be solved by them unless you get a lawyer involved based on this experience

All I can say is Lennar will try very hard to work with you if issues come up. The first sale of my house in another state the biyer bailed out on the purchase. The second buyers of my house bombed out as their co signer was refinancing their residence and could not co sign for the buyers when they were refinancing. The third sale of my out of state home went through in flying colors and I was allowed to purchase the home of my choice after Lennar had me under contract more than once. We were disappointed in the quality of the cabinets and drawers. the upper cabinets cannot be opened together without creating damage. They are not deep enough by an inch and the drawers are very shallow as well. One outside hose bib is not enough. The website and final/actual inclusions are not consistent. The people were all great. It was very frustrating to have credit cards that I use for business get added to the home mortgage with my credit, debt to income ratio and 30% down. My realtor spent 3 hours on her hands and knees cleaning paint off of the floor.

The overall purchase experience was good. They are efficient in getting everything done and the quality is great. The only negatives that I marked down on are that they don’t allow any modifications or changes at all in the process, you get exactly what they say and not all that is advertised. (No ceiling fans or ring doorbell that were on the online listing) The HOA rules are also way overdone. Overall buying experience was good when it came to the lending and sales departments. The house had several issues that were not identified during the final walk through because they could not be used at that time. The internet cable was not connected and had to be fixed by the internet company. The Ring doorbell / keypad did not work and had to be replaced. The downstairs toilet did not function correctly. Overall this was not a move in ready house as advertised and I am disappointed with the overall experience.

Overall decent home but so so so many imperfections everywhere. Nails popping, creaky floorboard, missing caulk, dented walls. Definitely can tell they use cheap contractors. The special interest is what helped but definitely a lot of headaches to deal with.

I did re was uest what I thought was a minor addition of a sink in the garage which could not be completed. Working outside and in the garage makes a sink there very handy and useful. Overall quality is good, wo I ld have like a double sink today. Top row of kitchen cabinets are almost usless unless you live on a ladder. Not yet unpacked but things are c coming together. Have yet to spend a night in the house to much unpacking.
