Overall decent home but so so so many imperfections everywhere. Nails popping, creaky floorboard, missing caulk, dented walls. Definitely can tell they use cheap contractors. The special interest is what helped but definitely a lot of headaches to deal with.

I did re was uest what I thought was a minor addition of a sink in the garage which could not be completed. Working outside and in the garage makes a sink there very handy and useful. Overall quality is good, wo I ld have like a double sink today. Top row of kitchen cabinets are almost usless unless you live on a ladder. Not yet unpacked but things are c coming together. Have yet to spend a night in the house to much unpacking.

From the time we picked out our home to closing working the Lennar team went very smoothly. They are organized and our home closed on the day they said it would. We have had no hiccups and everything is in good working order. Our neighborhood is quiet and clean. Thank you Christine, Betty and Tony!

So far so good. I had a few small issues but they where taken care of in a timely manner. Overall happy.

This was a simple process from start to finish!

Lennar is a horrible company to purchase a home from. Very poor quality. They cut corners wherever possible. Paint quality is horrible. Do not buy a Lennar home in Idaho

What an incredible experience buying a home from Lennar has been. From start to finish, everyone we met and worked with was top notch-professional, caring and really good at what they do. We love our new home. Quality and workmanship is excellent. Very happy with Lennar!

Outstanding from the initial walk thru of the models thru the homebuying experience. Christina, Gus, and Escrow were wonderful to deal with.

Where to start. We showed up with keys in hand to a house with trash outside, paint on almost every exterior window, side paneling was bowed, flooding, nails all over roof, which all of this was called out on our inspection and walk through 2 and 4 weeks prior. We were lied to on multiple occasions. We had to change our move in date as almost every single side panel had to be replaced, then the entire interior had to be repainted which in turn pushed our movers and painters back. The "management" team had poor communication and acted like we put them out. Very unprofessional, took no accountability, lied to me more than once, and once we signed off, good luck getting anything else done. We have uneven walls, baseboards, nail heads, etc. Oh! And we have a soaker tub 80 gallon and Lennar only installs a 50 gallon hot water heater... false advertisement! I cant even fill my tub with hot water. We will not recommend Lennar to anyone and especially not the local team here. Very disappointed. ... More

We’re so happy with our new home. It’s quite an upgrade for us, and we were especially excited about having most everything included with our home (appliances, landscaping, etc). Thanks!

The whole experience of purchasing a home with Lennar was seamless and easy. Love that they had a dedicated person for our walk throughs and he was on top of everything. He did a fantastic job at doing the new home evaluation. They were super helpful in answering our questions and when we have had a few small issues they are quick to respond and get it fixed.

For the most part it was OK and easy to follow, they need to be more on the spot with communication. the one bad thing that happened is that one of the people in the finance department took it upon herself to contact my insurance broker and change the day the home owners insurance would go active. She did this a total of 7 times during the process. despite being told on the phone and through email that she was NOT to contact and request changes to the brokers directly. My insurance company was so fed up with her crap that they were getting ready to tell us that "they would no longer be interested in covering our home if this continues." causing me to have to inform the brokers that if she communicated to them about my account that they were not to respond and forward it to me. ... Having a problem because Lennar's criteria for room temps for a two story is not good. I thought heat rose. Upstairs is cold. Won't move thermostat upstairs for me so it's going to cost me at least $200, plus patching walls. Spent a lit of money for this home I don't think I'm asking to much to be warmer upstairs

Overall the experience was good. The beginning of the process is the part we could look back on and feel frustrated/a little taken advantage of. The first time we looked at a Lennar house we knew we really liked it and were very interested. We were definitely rushed at this part of the stage by the sales rep. We shouldn’t have allowed ourselves to feel rushed by him but it was our first time buying a new home and we allowed him to make us think there was risk in not getting the house (even though it was November and things were moving quite slowly). We decided to represent ourselves to save a little money on the purchase. Although Lennar did give us a small sellers credit, it was not nearly what they would have paid to a real estate agent. This is by far the most frustrating aspect of the purchase for me. At the time of the agreement we asked for a certain amount of credit (still less than they would have paid our realtor) and we only got half of it. Later when we were no longer negotiating and I was thinking more logically, this clicked in more. I confronted the sales rep and explained that there was no reason to not give me a credit equal to the amount of an agents commission (we hadn’t closed yet by the way) and he tried to explain it away and said they refused to alter the deal. We were definitely taken advantage of in this regard, and I am sure Lennar and their sales rep had a little party over selling a house to a young family without a agent and only giving a small credit. The other parts of the process were fine. Make sure you get an independent 3rd party inspection! They found a significant issue that had to be fixed. We were pretty pushy when we had questions and needs leading up to closing and that was important and I can’t recommend enough to others, be annoying! Get what you deserve. When negotiating, don’t allow them to scare you or make you think there’s an imminent risk of losing a house you like. The market is much slower right now and you have leverage unlike 2020-2022. Push them for what you deserve in the negotiation. You can save some money by representing yourself (and I don’t think it was risky), just make sure you PUSH them for a credit FULLY EQUAL to the amount they would have paid a real estate agent. ... Very easy process. The concierge is very helpful at guiding you to lender, title, builder. Makes it less confusing

Still waiting for things to be fixed

Great team helping complete our home for closing. Any issues after the sale are promptly addressed by the community representative after the sale and completed by contractors in a timely manner. Lennar is very interested in having happy homeowners. Very good value and quality. We love our Lennar home.

Still have water drainage issues lawn took forever

There is definitely architectural flaws when designing these houses, and it appears that Lennar doesn’t do the same thing on each and every house. Three Car garage houses have three coach lights that make the house look balanced at night, yet there are some three-car garage houses that only have two coach lights and then there are a couple of RV garage houses that have three coach lights and the rest do not and at night time the house definitely does not look correct… the added cost when building the house to put three coach lights on ALL the houses is minimal. and then on some floorplans, they make a very decent size patio and on other floorplans like mine they only make a 12 x 12 patio which is ridiculous when you’re incorporating the roofline. So be prepared to spend extra money after you move in to fix things that should’ve been done right to begin with… ... More

We are so happy with out Lennar home and the customer service we have received :)

My experience with purchasing a new build from Lennar was horrible and will Never do it again. They were not easy to work with, their were to many people involved and was extremely confusing, so many different people and not clear on what they part of the transaction they were calling from. The impression I got was, nothing is changing or negotiating with price, colors, etc, and come to find out the house was painted the wrong color, and did a crappy job repainting. They also had to remove the stone at the front of the house as well, because that was the wrong color as well. The subcontractors didn’t pay much attention, but to build and go onto the next house. While visiting the home while being framed, there were quite a few pieces of 2x4’s that were split and should’ve been replaced, to where they looked like they would crack as the home settles. I’m still having issues with the home, they said they fixed these issues but Im still dealing with them. The tone that was set by Lennar was, if it’s an issue, don’t purchase the house and move on. We purchased grass/landscape and all it was, was grass that had no shape to it, sprinklers that weren’t working so some grass died, and tones of bark with no weed fabric under. You’d think for $7,900 at least weed paper would be provided. The interior of the house supposedly had been clean for move in, Nope! The windows were filthy inside and paint on the floors throughout the whole house, which wasn’t noticed until I vacuumed and mopped the home. Everything was as cheap as they could get to put inside and outside the home. There is much more and I could keep going on but see it now as a waste of time because that’s how they do things. Our neighbor moved in and had a gas leak behind their stove and couldn’t figure out exactly where the smell was coming through until the gas company came out So dissatisfied and will never go through this again with Lennar. ... This is our 2nd Lennar purchase and again it was excellent. They are great to work with and make the process easy. Our new home is built very well. Airtight for the cold weather and we have not needed to report anything yet to be repaired or fixed.

Extremely helpful and joyful personnel helped make a complex and stressful transaction manageable. Also fantastic incentives and a well built comfortable home just put the cherry on top of a great deal!
