Love our home. Qualities is great for the price. There were some minor things that could have been done better (like some of the caulk work), but overall, a great house in a great location. All the new neighbors that I have talked to seem to like their new homes as well.

The loan process was smooth and professional. The sales agents at Lennar were horrible and unprofessional. The build side of things was ok, however the quality of the products used very low quality. The carpet is extremely thin and the paint is horrible.

Real Estate is way over-priced in Idaho, with that said, Lennar is a good choice for a Spec Home. Good floor plan, average to above average materials, interior workmanship above average - exterior workmanship below average. HOA a little quick to pull the trigger but it's expected, they're new at their job and folks are still moving in. Biggest complaints: single door pantry when there's room for double, no towel storage in bathrooms when there's room, closet shelves are too deep and closet depth too shallow, no rain gutters and only ONE outdoor water faucet??? Biggest Plus: Warranty Response to list of discrepancies, Accessibility and Layout of Subdivision, Lot sizes give better space between homes vs Competition cramming as many units into a Sub-D as possible. The experience was first rate. We are getting moved in now, and have to say it has been a joy to work with the team. Any issues were addressed quickly and honestly. The folks we worked with, cared and really gave a nut about us and making sure the experience was nice. Logan really stepped up to the plate making sure the water issue was addressed. The sales team was helpful and put up with us coming by about every 3 days to watch the house take shape. They answered our questions, and provide some hand holding as it is the first time we have purchased new. all in all an excellent customer service experience. ... More

We chose Lennar over other builders in the area for a few reasons. We loved the upgrades and features that came with the home, the larger lot size, and community. Since moving in we have had numerous warranty issues that have had zero follow up on. Our back yard is completely flooded from poor landscaping. All of the sod we paid for is ruined. In addition our houses is the only house without trim painted. We have been told that is “the way we planned it” but the house looks incomplete. We like the location and community but I wish a little more time and attention went into the house. ... More

Easy to work with most of the time. Quality of home is extremely poor. Contractors need to pay closer attention to detail. Poor workmanship. The “integrity“ of Lennar is poor Would not recommend your company to anyone else

We recently purchased a unit at Eagle Ridge. While the process of purchasing the unit was fine, the experience after escrow closed was very frustrating. While our customer service rep, Jessica, deserves at least 5 stars for all she did to take care of the items that weren't completed by the close of escrow, the trades were less than responsive and often didn't complete their work properly. I believe there is a serious communication problem between the trades and Lennar. Now that we are more than 2 months post-closing, I believe that work is almost finished. I would not be inclined to use Lennar mortgage again. Every time something came up a new person would reach out needing more information. Many times at the end of day or weekends. It was the hardest purchase of a home that I have done in the four homes I have purchased over the years. While Gabriella and Kassandra were very helpful and patient with me there were several others that were less than professional. Even the last day, we got a call to pick up our keys and another person said no there was another issue that needed to be resolved. Also we received a email saying our offer had been rejected after placing our deposit down only to find out it was sent in error. No we are sorry or explanation of what happened just ignore that. Lennar has responded quickly, but after nearly 2 months many issues are still not resolved. The workmanship is poor, and we have been dealing with a very hot upstairs due to A/C issues. The price and location was good, but we have been underwhelmed thus far.

We had a very bad experience from beginning to end. The only reason we stayed with Lennar was because of the property. We have had issues with the mortgage, title, and builders. With in one week of moving in we had to have our AC unit replaced. Kitchen sink continues to slowly drain and we are told that nothing is wrong with it. I would not recommend this company to anyone

We were a little worried going with such a big production builder. We didn't get any choices, but what Lennar selected for us worked great for our needs. They also have great quality control to assure their home buyers concerns are met. Very happy with the final product.

Jeff our contact e-mailed us that the door company says they can fix with glue and spackle. The crack is getting larger by the day This door is defective. We want a new door for the new house we bought

The quality of the homes is terrible. I've never had soft walls that you can damage with a finger nail. The structure itself is sturdy, but the materials they use are low quality. Considering the price I expected a better quality home, but anytime I mentioned my disappointment, I was told "you pay for what you get in your price range". I am paying half a million dollars! I do not expect to be met with cheap building materials! The people in customer service are great to talk to and are very friendly. However, anytime I asked a question regarding internet, irrigation, quality of home, air conditioning, etc. I was met with vague answers that never actually answered my questions at all. They were unhelpful and I was left to figure everything out on my own. It was extremely frustrating. I needed answers and nobody could provide them. We were the first street in the subdivision they were building and we did not have internet for an entire month, and the subdivision next to us had been waiting for internet an entire year. In today's world, I expect more. They escrow team also failed to provide documentation to the city, so I had to wait several weeks before we could put our names on some of the utilities, such as trash and water. Not having trash and recycling cans for several weeks after moving was ridiculous. The air conditioning also took several weeks to figure out. We were headed into over 100 degree weather for weeks on end and our air conditioning was not cooling the house well. There would be over 10 degree differences between upstairs and downstairs. When we asked the company, who had installed the air conditioning, how the system worked and attempted to troubleshoot ways to get the degree difference within 5 degrees, the reply was "sometimes that just how that system works". Excuse me, but I have never lived in a house my entire life with air conditioning where the upstairs was significantly hotter than the downstairs. I have been in houses without air conditioning that are that way, but never one with air conditioning. The type of system was new to me. After several weeks of racking our brains on what the issue might be, we finally figured it out ourselves with zero help from Lennar and the company that installed the air conditioner. It is safe to say I will not be buying a Lennar home again. If I had known that I would be dealing with all these frustrations upon buying a home from them, I would have never given them my hard earned money. ... More

I had the easiest process ever purchasing 2 homes with Lennar. Kassandra, who was our main point of contact, was extremely kind and responsive (even on her days off). I truly have no complaints or even any suggestions on how they can improve. It was almost too easy.

We looked at many builder homes and I can tell you Lennar was the nest for quality and money. what you normally pay for upgrades with other builders was standard with Lennar and that was a huge selling feature for us. The quality of their builds far exceeded any of the other "local: builders. Layout, materials, size ..everything was better. The service from start to finish was fantastic and unparalleled. Highly recommend. I had heard of Lennar before in other states and when I saw them herein Idaho I was thrilled, they were a game changer for me. Disappointed in the attention to detail. Glue on back patio not cleaned. Nail pops on back of house. Weeds in yard front and back a foot tall Lawn 6” high with crab grass. Flooding against house. All pointed out at final walk. None addressed

As a former licensed realtor and third time homeowner, this is by far the most awful home buying experience I’ve ever not only personally experienced but seen in the industry. Lennar is not well established in Idaho and is unable to find decent contractors to build their homes. While these homes have nice layouts and they buy decent materials to put in the homes, they are built horribly. Our home’s floor was never leveled and there are large gaps between the floors and baseboards and our floors bubble in places and our back sliding door is difficult to close because it’s uneven. The siding on the outside wasn’t installed correctly and has been buckling and cracking since we moved in a month ago. The HVAC system also wasn’t done correctly and the return air vent sounds like a jet engine when the AC kicks on- we can’t even have a conversation in the living room when it’s on. Our neighbors are all experiencing similar issues and nobody at Lennar is taking action to fix these structural problems that are causing safety hazards in our homes. Their warranty team seems highly unorganized and is having trouble keeping track of service tickets- everyone claims they are new and not sure what to do. We bought a Lennar home because we wanted a more unique home layout and nicer quality than CBH and love the location, but if we had known this is what we were getting into we would have stayed far away. -Buying process was painful and the price on the contract didn’t match the verbal price we were told. -Early on during a scheduled visit, I noticed the wrong bathtub and shower was installed. It took a month of nagging to get someone to confirm that the wrong shower was installed. This ended up causing a 3 month, last minute delay of our home being built. -the sheathing on my roof has about a 5 inch gap on it. I assumed a vented roof cap was going to be installed. That is not the case and I have a 5 inch gap just covered by shingles. Lennar claims it’s per manufacturer standards, but I’m pretty sure that’s against local code. -Lennar was very strict that my 3rd party inspection was “structural only” and needed to be 1 week prior to the initial walk through. Well my dishwasher wasn’t installed yet so it didn’t get tested. The day I move in, I open my door to a flooded floor. It’s been 6 weeks since I have moved in and the repairs are still not done. The fact that the dishwasher wasn’t tested after installation is ridiculous. -My backyard is filled with soccer ball size rocks and easily 50 cigarette butts, I have been promised a final grade for about 6 weeks now. -my front yard was covered in construction debris and cigarette butts. This is simply unprofessional and unacceptable. Ultimately I cleaned this up myself. -the tac strip is poking out of the carpet nearly everywhere, my kids have hurt themselves on this multiple times. -the concrete on my back patio has a crack in it, I noted it on my initial inspection but nothing has been done about it - My drive way has a massive red chalk stain, power washing was unsuccessful, and it appears Lennar has given up on fixing it -the landscaping in the front is a joke. No landscape paper under the half inch of mulch that was placed. My drip system for the front is on the same valve/zone as the main rotary heads. -to be fair, it seems that Lennar has good intentions, It is just apparent that they don’t have control of their subs and are clearly disorganized. -The warranty team has been decent to work with, but the disconnect between warranty and construction team is apparent. -Ultimately working with Lennar has been a nightmare and I currently would not recommend them as a builder. Lennar has cut costs on so many fronts, as cheap as failing to give garage door opener keypad. Windows Sil, cap/trim for half wall, opener for third car garage, window in the stair area, cover for patio, retaining wall for slopy backyard, soft close for the kitchen cabinet doors & drawers are all missing. The quality of workmanship & materials is very poor. Response to issues takes months!

Nice home for a good price.

Buying from Lennar was like being bullied into a deal. When we bought the house they shortcut a lot of things. The sub contractors were not caring at all about their craft. Lennar forced us to stick to the contract even though they were weeks behind on their work. The final walkthrough was scheduled after the closing date. They refused to budge on adjusting time frames and owning up to the work that needed to get done. By the time final walkthrough happened. They needed to touch up all the baseboards in the house and repaint/repair a lot of areas. Lennar also refused to follow specs. Not giving us closets and grass with sprinklers as promised. Throwing $5 bag of mulch down and calling it done. We have constant leaks and flooding in the garage because the house was built wrong. Customer service promise to resolve issues but schedule weeks out. I will look into legal actions but buyer beware!!! ... More

It hasn't been the best experience after I closed. A lot of issues I was told would be fixed but they didn't do anything about it. My first two customer service reps didn't do anything and now i'm on my 4th and stuff is finally getting done. I probably would not recommend a Lennar home to friends or family based off of this experience.

Purchasing our new Lennar home went smooth and the communication between Nate@Idahorooted.com and the Lennar sales representative was fantastic. Cristina (our Lennar Home rep.) has also been great when following up on a couple punch list items.
