As a former licensed realtor and third time homeowner, this is by far the most awful home buying experience I’ve ever not only personally experienced but seen in the industry. Lennar is not well established in Idaho and is unable to find decent contractors to build their homes. While these homes have nice layouts and they buy decent materials to put in the homes, they are built horribly. Our home’s floor was never leveled and there are large gaps between the floors and baseboards and our floors bubble in places and our back sliding door is difficult to close because it’s uneven. Buying from Lennar was like being bullied into a deal. When we bought the house they shortcut a lot of things. The sub contractors were not caring at all about their craft. Lennar forced us to stick to the contract even though they were weeks behind on their work. The final walkthrough was scheduled after the closing date. They refused to budge on adjusting time frames and owning up to the work that needed to get done. By the time final walkthrough happened. They needed to touch up all the baseboards in the house and repaint/repair a lot of areas. Lennar also refused to follow specs. Not ...

We identified multiple issues throughout the process of the build, yet they were not rectified. Now we are stuck with a large inconvenience as these things still need to be fixed and the emotional stress of not being able to fully move into our new house. The house has to be repainted, multiple windows replaced due to improper installation leaving windows to not close, the conditioned crawl space was not professionally done, multiple finishing issues throughout the house, and the exterior of the house has equal amount of finishing issues and sections of concrete needing to be repoured due to ...
