Home buying experience was easy to get through. Once we moved in, Rob our Liason, has been very helpful. We have had a few issues with equipment and structural things. He was very responsive and got them resolved in a timely manner

My experiences for the beginning to the end so far with Lennar has been proactive and positive.

Overall Experience was extremely poor. From the "common" items left out of the building process such as towel bars and Shower rods, to the fact that NO underground sprinkling system was installed to water the new sod - leaving that 2K responsibility to the new homeowner, to a disastrous 2 day closing event. At this point I am very sorry I ever signed the Purchase Agreement.

Very bad experience. They told me Aug interest rate will appt to to me. After I bought house they change to 7.125. Literally they cheated me.

Cannot run washer and dryer together or it trips the breaker. After review with my own electrician lower circuit was used and tied into our bathroom. Spending $400 on my own to resolve as a Lennar supervisor stated they will not do anything to resolve this.

The buying experience was great along with the mortgage loan process. The onsite home inspection representative was very good and responsive, helped with problems I had with the house. Painting was not done professionally walls are rough in places, paint was one receptacle covers and spattered all over the vinyl plank floors in all the room. I really like the layout, windows, doors, counters, shower, sinks, appliances, vinyl plank, carpet and tile are all good quality and installed well. The house is insulated well, sealed and quiet. The yard is the perfect size and landscaped nicely. Overall I really like the place, my rating would be perfect if it was not for the paint and cleanup even though I had some other issues with the counter cabinet door and some scratches in the vinyl plank that were promptly fixed. One suggestion is to give people moving in a time slot to program their garage door openers, my door was being opened when I was not home by a neighbor opening theirs. ... More

Mortgage processing- mortgage officer and underwriter were not on the same page and didn’t respond in timely manner. I asked to put down 5% but they had my closing paperwork with 10% down payment. Closing was postponed and then i was super rushed. After closing was postponed, I told Lennar that i have to be out house i sold by certain date but they still scheduled my closing on the same date i had to be out of my previous home. I had to literally pack, close, and move on the same day.

Excellent customer care and follow up with correcting issues

Mostly all items they are using cheap, so many issues time of closing. You are not getting according to your money. Need so many updates after closing.

We bought a new house in Lennar and were very satisfied. Everything was done very qualitatively. Beautiful, spacious and new!!! Attractive conditions for purchase. Flexible interest rate. We recommend it to everyone!!!

I say poor workmanship & oversight because so many of the issues are related to an untrained workforce. Simply stupid things: leftover carpet padding kernels under the carpet, so there are chunks of unevenness noticeable when you walk on the carpet in your bare feet; same with subfloor fasteners not set fully that you feel through the carpet; extremely poor caulk quality called out during the walk through, made worse when corrected; garage door track misaligned causing the door to warp; garage door weatherstrip short by 3+ inches; refusal to paint the wood truss portion that is visible in attic windows; refusal to allow inspections predrywall (I understand why now); doors that overlap improperly and different location than model and in plans; cracked window frame; inoperable window sash; electric to AC unit left too long laying in dirt- just poor oversight of under qualified workers. I would add Lennar's Mortgage Company offers a nice buydown, but they contact you nearly daily with new things to sign- very frustrating. ... More

Thought was not put into the design of this home. Why in the world would anyone put a window in a walk in closet and a door on the opposite wall. Where do they expect you to hang your clothes? If they had put in a normal closet with sliding doors, there would have been more room to hang things in the closet, the room would have been bigger and had a second window.

The sales team made the purchase process very easy. The townhomes are put together very nicely with plenty of storage. Home is light and bright even though we only have windows on the East and West sides. The landscaping is very nice and taken care of very well. We love it here!

Whenever we had a question/comment the person we were talking to had to pass info to someone else for response seemingly just passing us off. The consierge was response but didn’t directly answer anything. Similarly the salesman, CM, & inspection staff only had one responsibility. Although all issues were addressed it was very frustrating. We’ll see how the 60 day & 11 month responses go (we’ve started both lists

It would have been beneficial to have models of the 4 different styles of homes to view instead of only one model before buying. The dishwasher that came with the house was very cheap. We replaced it immediately. We really like the house so far after 2 months.

Construction team is good. Sales team helped understand all the features, options ,pricing In very detail to make a right decision. Pricing is good. Construction quality is really good.

Quick responses to our repair issues was very much appreciated.

Once our sales rep was no longer involved in the process of our purchase, it was down hill from there. When questions were asked I felt as if I was inconveniencing them, It's been over 2 months since we closed on our home and we're still waiting for someone to register the electric meter with the electric company.

I will start off by saying that this was, and is, the best option for our new home based on the location and certain criteria we wanted. Our salesperson, Connie, was great and genuinely always responsive and we appreciate everything that she did along to make things happen. However, Lennar's website advertised a variety of customization options, but none of those were available (fireplace, sprinkler system, basement bathroom rough in etc.). The only customization options you will have on your home are the finishes, provided you agree to buy the plot early enough. We decided to move forward anyway as we had done enough looking to know this was where we wanted to be. We wanted to change some things so we requested the following items: don’t install cabinets or appliances, asked for sod in back instead of seed (or leave the seed off and we would sod) (happy to pay an upcharge), don’t install carpet in the dining room and just do LVP throughout (happy to pay an upcharge), and requested a full width three car driveway. We were just trying to not spend extra money undoing work. We were told that none of this was possible to pass occupancy, or it was just not something they offered. We didn't like the response but accepted it. Everything seemed to be on track for us to close on our home on Lennar's selected date. Ten days before closing we found out, from our lender and not Lennar, that the following items would not be completed before closing: driveway, backfill, landscaping, and sidewalks. We closed in May and work was scheduled to be completed mid-July. This also meant that our lender was requesting and additional $10k from us until the work was completed. We spoke with Connie, and she did everything she could to get it moved up, which they did, but they were still later than promised. Lennar was able to get temporary occupancy with the village until all work was done, something we would have happily discussed with them. Meanwhile, we were watching unoccupied homes around us be completed as our toddler and dog had a clay/mud pit of a yard strewn with nails and a variety of other construction garbage and litter. Gaining occupancy was now important for unoccupied homes and we, along with most of our neighbors, had to just sit and wait with no communication. We still have neighbors who are waiting to get their landscaping done. Workmanship and quality on the home are fine. There seems to be little quality control when these things are going up. They are just trying to crank them out as fast as possible. So far, we have found cracking grout, poor caulking and painting on the outside finishes, large gaps in the garage, scratches in my countertop, debris under carpet, nail/screw pops, paint drips, visible saw cuts in LVP, debris under carpet, cracked bathroom door, and various other things that should really be caught. The paint is basically just the thinnest coat of white ceiling paint all around the house and it is poorly painted. We do have our 60 days walk through coming up and we do believe these items will be resolved. Rob, our warranty manager, has been very responsive and took care of several of our items already. We did agree that some of it could wait until the 60 days so that he didn’t have to send people back and forth, and because most of these things are not vital. Not only have we had a good experience with Rob, but our neighbors have reiterated his willingness to help. The garage is also a problem for two reasons. The first is that it is simply too small. Most families in this area have at least one SUV or larger vehicle. Our Ford Explorer barely fits in the garage, let alone something larger. The steps from the house to the garage are in the middle of the two-car portion of the garage further limiting your space. As minor as our issues are, we have neighbors who are worse off with incomplete housework, foundation issues, and other issues. The last major issues are the backfill and landscaping. The backfill is supposed to be just black dirt, but it is riddled with fist sized stone (some even larger) and other chunky debris at the surface. The grading is also poor. The ground is very lumpy and uneven. I have already identified areas where there is/will be standing water. Unfortunately, we put a patio in before one year and that apparently voids any issues with grading even though the patio was put in before there was any dirt. While I am not thrilled about it, we did know that going in and chose to do it. We do have some positives. Again, Connie was a very good salesperson and very responsive. She always called/texted me back and tried to get me answers and resolutions on everything. If you have a good salesperson, they can help you along the way. They will also work with you on price. Many of the initial items that we wanted, but could not get, we received a little bit off on the price to help offset some of the work that we wanted to do. The four levels of inspection (initial walk through, final walk through, 60-day walkthrough, and 11 month) is very helpful and not typical, as far as I know. This gives the buyer a chance to notice things in the immediate and over time. We will be hiring a 3rd party inspector for the 11-month to make sure we do not miss anything. All in all, it is a fine house with so-so workmanship, materials, and finishes. We never imagined that we would ever be able to spend this much money on a home, let alone build one from scratch. We had very high expectations for this and really it turned out to be just another cookie cutter operation where the only concern is how to maximize the profit and give very little care to the customer. It is sad to see the lack of care, attention to detail, and poor/non-existent communication. Not the best experience. The buying process, going through the closing was terrible. Lori and Andrea NEVER answer phones, they’re rude when you ask them questions. I’m glad that the process is over, however I don’t think I’ll ever refer anyone to build a home with Lennar.

My overall experience in dealing with a thenar was OK. The app was not a joy at all. I would rate it or two out of five. Though the people I talk to in the office were prompt, courteous, and professional, which helped me deal with the whole app situation. Again, I wish I was made aware of the fact that in the townhomes you have investors who will be renting out properties. My experience in the past has been that investors are poor landlords, and the property values for surrounding properties are dragged down and the transient people that move in and out don’t care about the property in the property start to look shabby, which affects my home and it’s value. ... Been a great experience so far. Been in the home coming up on 60 days and the one issue we had was addressed the same day I brought it up.

I absolutely LOVE my new Lennar home!! I love the community feel, the location, and the home itself! The builders did such an amazing job of making sure to include very nice finishing touches. Love the open layout, and love the feel! I would highly recommend Lennar to other home buyers!

Lennar as an organization appears to be unorganized. There are too many problems experienced to put here in a paragraph.
