Buying experience was good but on the building side of it it’s poor

From the start to end. The home buying process was great. From the sales to the builders. They kept us up to date on the process.

Everyone has been very helpful and great to work with.

Few things in life are as nerve-racking as buying a new place. Exciting but stressful! I must say I was very impressed with my experience with Lennar. My salesperson, Ann, was great and very receptive to all of the questions I fired away. Joe, my loan rep, was also very communicative and quick to respond. And then also a shoutout to Don, the lead for the community building team, as he took me through 2 very thorough walk-throughs and even gave me his # to call with questions once I moved in. We loved the sales team. Mortgage was a headache. A lot of the supplies are cheaply made and constructed “to spec” but they’re not done the right way. Like the electric box. It’s approved by village inspectors but not done the best way. The windows and wall’s allow for a lot of noise from the outside

Our experience was horrible, we chose and paid for a model Santa Rosa. However, our home was not built like the model. My master bedroom is missing two windows, a dining room should have been the enginery flood instead of a carpet. we got 1000 back for carper. The home was over price didn't pass the appraiser's value, we were given 11,000 after our lawyer was able to reach cooperate, but it still has 15,000 underwater. Adam was won't let us talk to cooperate at the beginning. We talked to Steve who was reasonable but Adam was always in the way with lies. If we have discovered the missing windows before closing. We wouldn't have a close on this home. The square footage was reduced in the living room. If you show us a model and we love the model and choose to pay for the model. My home should be built like the model. Don't show us something we work hard to pay for and subtract things out of the model. Worst Experience with Lennar Mortgage never ever again from start to finish. Terrible experience. These people working for your mortgage company are not trained the right way.

I love my house and the area. I had a good sales and closing experience. The ENTIRE team at Tamm’s Farm in Hampshire has been awesome. I have no complaints. Thank you.

We love our Model House called, Rutherford! We recently purchased a new construction home with Lennar Builder and I couldn't be happier with my experience. The process was smooth and the team at Lennar was extremely helpful throughout. They made sure to keep me informed every step of the way and were always available to answer any questions I had. The quality of the construction is top-notch and I love all of the modern amenities that come with the home. Overall, I had a fantastic experience with Lennar and would highly recommend them to anyone in the market for a new construction home.

Harry was excellent in the purchase process . Always available and very helpful . The mortgage arm of the company very poor and the rep was not very knowledgeable and a bit misleading Once you start getting emails to sign things etc . this company will NEVER STOP BOTHERING YOU! Even after closing I was getting emails to sign forms . They want to sell not only homes but insurance and lending …. Just stick to home building and selling would be my advice !

The initial purchasing process was pretty straight forward. Our sales rep was extremely nice and progressional/helpful. We agreed to purchase our home and sent in our earnest money. Fast forward a few months later, we lost communication with our rep and we later found out she had left the company for undisclosed reasons. Fast forward even more and we are approaching closing. Our initial orientation walk through was “ok” but we noticed MANY MANY MANY issues with the home from a cosmetic and attention to detail standpoint. There were extensive issues with poor paint job/baseboards in poor condition/dust and dirt everywhere/paint on carpet/nails through cupboards and noticeable through the painted drywall/poor caulking/misaligned cabinets and doors just to name a few. Now many issues were resolved by closing but it was almost as other issues popped up which were not addressed. It is unfortunate, even though they state that the homes have a set timeframe to finish it was clear that our home was either rushed due to it being near the end of their fiscal year and/or the subcontractors hired to complete the job blatantly did not care about the quality of their work or were rushed as well. They are all adamant that they “do not know how much the homes cost” but that is an absurd statement. They also use lower end materials in regards to baseboards/window trim and paint. We also paid for the upgraded “luxury” package or something like that but it sure didn’t feel that way. The price should not matter but if you are paying for a certain price than I think it’s fair to expect a certain standard and Lennar does not meet those standards as promised. It was a quick and smooth home buying process with Lennar. Dates that were communicated were adhered to. Front office, supervisor team were super responsive. Good experience overall and hope it remains that way!

Initially assigned loan officer is not cooperative. Because of him I was not able to lock the interest rate when it is low. Later I fight to assign other loan officer but by the time interest rates went up.

Broken patio door lock ifentified 6 weeks ago. No action. Issuess with front door lock and latch. No action. Air leaks everywhere. Cracking of plaster in bathroom

very easy the process and kept us updated as we progress through the process. no concerns on buying or the house quality.

I had recently moved into my brand new house which is constructed by Lennar. I had that new feel for only few days. I started hearing creaking sounds almost everywhere with in 1 week of closing. There’s are cracks on the walls, air leaks and so on. Initially construction quality used to be good when I signed my contract. But now, I won’t recommend Lennar to anyone.

This is the third house we have built, and by far the easiest for us to navigate through. Although we would have liked to have been able to get some additional customization, we understand that the value of this builder is attainable through standardization of the homes. We were surprisingly impressed with the quality and amount of trees and landscaping that they did along Route 47 and at the entrance to Fox Pointe. Looking forward to seeing what the park brings esthetically to the development.

The whole Lennar home buying experience was horrible. I would not recommend Lennar to any of my friends. If I wouldn't have lost so much money, I would have backed out of buying the home. From the start I was lied to about things and promise things that never happened. There are so many issues I came across from purchase agreement to roof leaking after moving in. So, in the end total disappointment from start to finish I would rate a zero on trustworthiness if I could

Love the design and floor plan. Unfortunately the quality of building materials and some workmanship appear to be of low quality, especially in basement concrete/foundation, carpet, vinyl flooring, tub, shower. Garage door is defected. Basement floor is turning black less than 60 days after purchasing a Christie Duplex. Concrete on front stairs and sidewalk are turning colors. Asphalt Driveway has harden construction residue on it, Countertop backsplash was missing, which was unnoticed during final walk through. Pointed out rust spots on the basement floor and requested them to be removed during final walk through. Now I think that was a sign of water getting into the basement. Very disappointed. Too embarrassed to have an house warming event until things are corrected. SMH ... More

We paid through the roof with a almost 6% interest rate for screens that are too small, glue on floors, carpet padding missing in some spots, toilet shoots out water when we flush, not all window sills were painted. They used cheap chalk paint to paint. Honestly this house is not worth what we paid. Not to mention I can’t do anything or it will void my warranty so when I call the builders they are never available. Second Lennar home and Incredibly disappointed. I will never have a build with them again.
