I had recently moved into my brand new house which is constructed by Lennar. I had that new feel for only few days. I started hearing creaking sounds almost everywhere with in 1 week of closing. There’s are cracks on the walls, air leaks and so on. Initially construction quality used to be good when I signed my contract. But now, I won’t recommend Lennar to anyone.

This is the third house we have built, and by far the easiest for us to navigate through. Although we would have liked to have been able to get some additional customization, we understand that the value of this builder is attainable through standardization of the homes. We were surprisingly impressed with the quality and amount of trees and landscaping that they did along Route 47 and at the entrance to Fox Pointe. Looking forward to seeing what the park brings esthetically to the development.

The whole Lennar home buying experience was horrible. I would not recommend Lennar to any of my friends. If I wouldn't have lost so much money, I would have backed out of buying the home. From the start I was lied to about things and promise things that never happened. There are so many issues I came across from purchase agreement to roof leaking after moving in. So, in the end total disappointment from start to finish I would rate a zero on trustworthiness if I could

Love the design and floor plan. Unfortunately the quality of building materials and some workmanship appear to be of low quality, especially in basement concrete/foundation, carpet, vinyl flooring, tub, shower. Garage door is defected. Basement floor is turning black less than 60 days after purchasing a Christie Duplex. Concrete on front stairs and sidewalk are turning colors. Asphalt Driveway has harden construction residue on it, Countertop backsplash was missing, which was unnoticed during final walk through. Pointed out rust spots on the basement floor and requested them to be removed during final walk through. Now I think that was a sign of water getting into the basement. Very disappointed. We paid through the roof with a almost 6% interest rate for screens that are too small, glue on floors, carpet padding missing in some spots, toilet shoots out water when we flush, not all window sills were painted. They used cheap chalk paint to paint. Honestly this house is not worth what we paid. Not to mention I can’t do anything or it will void my warranty so when I call the builders they are never available. Second Lennar home and Incredibly disappointed. I will never have a build with them again.

Lennar made our home buying experience easy! After a long and frustrating search for a home we decided to check out the Meadows of West Bay. Michelle was welcoming and allowed us to see all the models available, even though we showed up without an appointment. We fell in love and bought our first home. No more putting in offers and being outbid or finding issues during home inspection like our previous home searches! We used Lennar mortgage and they were available and helpful all throughout the mortgage process. Lennar Title made the closing process a breeze. I insist, they must improve the future buyer's evaluation system because they create a state of anxiety in the family every time they request a collection and it feels like you take one step forward in the purchase process and three steps back.

Overall the process with Lennar was super easy and fast. I wouldn’t hesitate to buy from Lennar again.

Nothing but positive things to say so far. The sales process and mortgage team were great, so simply and easy. The warranty issues so far have been addressed very quickly and I am pleased with the overall quality of the building.

Very bad experience, with everyone at Lennar Homes. I have been calling Lennar Corporate telephone number for weeks , I even sent a email and have not got a response. Today is August 29, 2022 and I have only two days left before my 60 day home warranty expires. During my closing walk through there was so much I saw that need to be fixed, the builder supervisor said don’t worry you have 60 days. Well my 60 days expire in 2 days and guess what I can’t get anyone to respond to my request. I will never build or purchase another home from Lennar or refer any of my friends and family to Lennar builders. The one big mistake I made during purchasing a home with LENNAR Builders was I thought that the sales person was helping me, when she is solely out to help the builder. Please let everyone of your buying a new home, please take a realtor with you, they are your true help. Also the other big mistake was not hiring a Realastate Attorney, if it had not been for a outside mortgage I used. I would have lost my earnest money and my home. This experience with LENNAR Homes have taught me a lot about making sure you cover yourself. I know we had a pandemic but this type of service and work is no excuse. So far my experience with the staff and quality of work is outstanding. Response to problems is immediate and caring. I’m happy with the outcome of my move. Hope everything remains the same as time passes.

So many building issues are consistently flawed in all the models. In a 6 unit model, all have the same dry wall taping issues, same electrical issues and more. So many corners cut and final product does not reflect what is seen in the models

Had the worst experience with the mortgage company as the agent handling the paper work doesn't know the calculation. Plus requested unnecessary documents from the third party as there personal bank statements which at the was not provided and still loan was approved. Really bad material plus construction work. It's not even month and floor started making noises as old houses. Basement has leaks as we started water sprinklers just think water is coming into basement just from water sprinklers that are used to water garden. Still don't have mailbox for the house. So have to go to USPS to get the mails. Bathroom tab started leaking water when made complaint in warranty still haven't scheduled to repair it. When asked who will pay bill for the water as it is continuously leaking and the answer was that is normal the bill won't be that big. No one wants to answer their phones and keep avoiding you. ... Sales and closing excellent mortgage fare quality and workmanship week

Overall experience was OK. We bought a spec home and we’re super frustrated that we were not able to make any upgrades. We wanted to pay more money and weren’t able to. Very frustrating.

I would wait until the landscaping is completed before letting the buyers move in. There are cracks in the ceilings, and other small issues. The biggest problem for my wife is the noise in the early morning from truck traffic. We have purchased a newly constructed home before. My wife is disappointed with the craftsmanship of this townhome. We thought we paid top dollar, but it doesn’t feel like it.

Bad experience with the underwriter during the loan process, Once we took the keys we found the floor with paint spots throughout the first floor, the basement had so much dirt on the floor it filled my container from my vacuum, the floor vinyl is pulling up in some corners & bubbling up in others, the refrigerator door was dented and scuffed, the upstairs has an area that makes a squeaking noise as you walk down the hallway, the garage man door has a lot of small dents along with the garage door, the basement sliding door was dirty along with the door track area that was filled with dirt, the front porch had a lot of dirt, along with the front door as well. When they came to pour the drive way the guys left tar on my font sidewalk, and there was a guy eating sunflower seeds as he was driving the roller machine he would spit out the seeds onto the drive way and would go over them with the roller embedding the seeds into the drive way. I had to pull them all out, the sod and seed were placed onto the dirt that already had a good amount of weeds growing before they put the sod and the bed of seed down and as the grass has grown so have the weeds... House is very nice, but I’ve been in the home about two months and I’m having issues. Too many to list. I’m waiting for lennar to set up “warranty” services. Which these should have been addressed at a QC phase.

The homes are nice. I feel like they are just slapped together though. The sales people were nice and helpful. The construction manager is amazing. The loan department is awful.

The carpet was almost like indoor/outdoor carpeting with no upgrade options, so we tore out and spent $10K at Home Depot for nice carpet. Dealing with landscaping issues as are yet unresolved. Exterior painting was very poor on the trim work. The sales process with Michelle was fantastic and she helped us immensely and we are very grateful to her for that! Thanks Michelle!!!!
