We loved the sales team. Mortgage was a headache. A lot of the supplies are cheaply made and constructed “to spec” but they’re not done the right way. Like the electric box. It’s approved by village inspectors but not done the best way. The windows and wall’s allow for a lot of noise from the outside

I would wait until the landscaping is completed before letting the buyers move in. There are cracks in the ceilings, and other small issues. The biggest problem for my wife is the noise in the early morning from truck traffic. We have purchased a newly constructed home before. My wife is disappointed with the craftsmanship of this townhome. We thought we paid top dollar, but it doesn’t feel like it.

Overall, satisfied as can be with the new home. I feel we were fortunate as to only have one major issue. However, talking with neighbors, there were too many stories being shared about their problems with their new home.

There are many mistakes on the finished floor, there are spaces between the boards and pieces of the underlying material sticking out between the boards of 5he floors. Also on the floors and thresholds are dents and I was told by the first person assigned to see my problems that I had to wait 60 days before complaining. Another big issue is the fact that we don’t have a mail box yet and of course there is no delivery for packages available to us either. Hope they resolve all of these issues soon

Our first home that we purchased brand new. As we have lived in the house, we continue to find ourselves solving one problem after another. This community has extremely HARD water due to the city having well water. Everyone I'd well aware that residents would need water softner, yet the home had no room to install one. We had to get various companies to come out to give us a quote and pick ONLY the one who could install water softner components in two different locations, which asked for TOP dollars. Well I am disappointed, my whole floor needs to be redone. They barley fixed any of the things they said they would on the walk through. Said “it’s under warranty my guys tried just make a checklist.” Used some cheap material where the caulking was suppose to go and had left a water buildup from a loose pipe in basement tried saying they had just cleaned it. Lying straight to my face, I hope they honor the warranty and if they would just slow down and do it right there wouldn’t be any problems. Good luck if your shopping with lennar I hope you get better quality than my duplex.

Ceiling and wall visible taping many settlement cracks.appliances cheap..oven lower drawer falls out..1 day microwave installed bad had to have company fix. 1st floor so cold.air coming into room from electrical switch and outlets along west wall.envolpe compromise 2nd floor bedroom floor cold over garage also spare room over front door cold. Wam bam get you in construction. Heat comes on every 5 minutes due to first floor so cold along west wall had to purchase humidifier but can't keep up humidity do to furnace keeps running drying out house humidifier good for 2400sq ft.

The carpet was almost like indoor/outdoor carpeting with no upgrade options, so we tore out and spent $10K at Home Depot for nice carpet. Dealing with landscaping issues as are yet unresolved. Exterior painting was very poor on the trim work. The sales process with Michelle was fantastic and she helped us immensely and we are very grateful to her for that! Thanks Michelle!!!!

Try to resolve issues with cut corners on maintenance. My sink faucet is leaking and water comes down in closet, and every time different people comes and explain that when you clean sink, water supposed not go behind faucet. So I have to keep towel all the times behind the faucet. I never heard like that. I was owning the home earlier and I used to clean bathrooms and I never seen water under the closet. The faucet gasket has to be sealed and leak free.

Harry was excellent in the purchase process . Always available and very helpful . The mortgage arm of the company very poor and the rep was not very knowledgeable and a bit misleading Once you start getting emails to sign things etc . this company will NEVER STOP BOTHERING YOU! Even after closing I was getting emails to sign forms . They want to sell not only homes but insurance and lending …. Just stick to home building and selling would be my advice !

Lennar's mortgage process was very chaotic but the representatives were always trying to help. We experienced changing contacts throughout the process which made it difficult to know where we were in the application & approval process. As far as quality, flooring was installed poorly; has squeaks and damaged boards. Have painting residue on woodwork. Found black mold under insulation in basement which they have remediated. For the money paid, we expected better quality.

The process of building was great (not my first new home build) and we were kept informed. There are opportunities with disconnects between marketing material images and actual plans and since the customer only can take away the marketing material those need to match with the plans. Post closing on the home the responsiveness is severely lacking. We have several small issues that are construction defects that we raised both at closing and the 60 day mark and aside from an email with a case number there has been no communication in a month.

Lennar has a rigid process that meets the timing of their commitments. Unfortunately the actual building process is a slam bam get it done and fix it later approach. As a result the workmanship is poor with no incentive for the trades people to do quality work. Our experience has been you get it done poorly the first time. Then they respond quickly and positively to your request only to fix it and leave you with another poor quality fix and/or a different problem. The whole process is very very frustrating.

I love my house , I hate the appliances after one week there was a dent in my refrigerator and the stove top is scratched already just by wiping it. My floors are cracking and Grout job on my tiles stinks I am glad that I still have but when your warranty to get fixed all the things that are wrong with my house.
