Although I love my house with the money we spent there were things that surprised me that I was not happy with. One the paint job in this house was a cheap notoriousness that took not only lots of paint to cover up but also a lot of sanding. The grout to all the tile was done poorly. The bangs and dings throughout the house was clearly laziness from the crews. On the other hand, for the company to continue to fix things is a plus. No refrigerator, no towel racks, cheap vinyl flooring, poor drywall finishing, garage drywall not finished and not painted . Floors are uneven, no ceiling fans, basic cheap carpet, 2x4 roof trusses on 24” centers, no attic ladder. Speck home all the way.

I want to call out two very special people that have made this experience with Lennar much more palatable. I will circle back and explain my reasons for giving consistent 3’s as a rating. First Bradley Andrews in your sales team is a real bonus to Lennar.. he has gone WAY ABOVE and beyond his job description to help us out with MANY issues with the purchase of our home. During our celebratory walk thru, a week prior to our closing, we pointed out several issues that needed to be addressed. To our surprise, at the final walk thru, NOTHING had been repaired. I never got the first walk through when they first started building. I have never seen such poor workmanship in my life! The painting, the caulking around the windows, the corners on every wall are messy ,,there is paint splatter in the floor!

I should have stayed at Oltoff builders in Clover grove! First walk through problems not taken care of, second walk through problems still not taken care of. Once you close no one seems to care All the big electric boxes and the AT&T bic should have been put in the backyards. Looks terrible out front. Bad Bad Bad!!

I feel there has been way to many issues for being here less than 40 days, especially what we paid for this house. To start, 30 days prior to close water was pouring into the basement from a fitting that came loose the week they introduced water to the house. Surprisingly nobody was there or pressure tested the system. Just turn the water on and leave. Overall we are happy with our home. There are a few things that we’re not happy with. Our back yard is an issue with ground being uneven and over ran with weeds. There’s a few odd ends through out the house that we are not 100% pleased with. But, for the most part we are happy. The HOA definitely needs some rules in placed and I would like to see more landscaping in the entrance. The kids park needs a few things and better up keep. But I’m sure these are things can be addressed as the neighborhood gets older.

We contracted with Lennar to build a new home in the Irongate community. The process went smoothly overall and the build was timely. Quality of materials and skill in framing was average with some work below average or not to code. Several framing mistakes were made and were caught/corrected during the pre drywall inspection. Drywall finish is decent and trim was good. The construction manager Darell was very good to work with and the pre closing walkthrough was very thorough by Lennar. They were open to listening to concerns and worked to correct them quickly.

We do enjoy our house but the hassle and problems we have had in just the first weeks alone are worrisome. To start from the very beginning we never heard from our mortgage loan officer. We reached out multiple times and never heard anything until the day of our closing. He sent us an email only to say our mortgage lender was changing. We did our blue tape walk through a week before our closing date. They completely disregarded everything that was blue taped. Eric has been excellent and transparent with the repair process. The rest of the overall experience, not so much. If I could do it all over again, I definitely wouldn't. Nick was helpful during his part as well. We were rushed into buying a home and selling ours at a lower price then we wanted. We were told if we weren't under contract within 2 weeks that our interest rate would jump from 5% to 7.2%. A week after we got a contract, lennar was advertising 4.5%. The upstairs is hot because dampners went set correctly and my furnace/AC leaks in the basement

We purchased a house end of May. We had 2 closing walkthroughs and put different colored painters tape up. Almost 60 days later, repairs still haven't been made. They keep telling me it will get fixed. I have spoken to 7 different representatives of the company, and my house is still in shambles. Leaky basement, dings and Knicks, walls that wave, scratches in the floor, hvac not hooked up, plus many more problems. We thoroughly enjoy our new home. Lennar does a great job with floor plans. Not all is perfect and there are spots in the home we wish were different but we realize that no matter how a home is spec’d out, there will always be the “I wish we/they would have done this instead”! In the end, it’s a great home with great features!

I pay extra for this lot , thinking offers privacy but the lot is full off low quality clay dirt. So its useles nothing can be planted on it when it rain takes long to drain ,when its dry is hard like rock and crack..

They call 4mm flooring upgraded! It’s cheap. Layout is great of these homes. Very sound proof. Windows are great.
