Took a lot of short cuts in building and didn’t pay attention to details in some areas.

We’ve had several issues starting at the signing of the contract to present day. It’s not an experience to at I would want to relive. At this point would be hard to recommend to others. Sorry!

Did not care for one of the Lennar Mortgage folks. Rick was very abrupt every time I had to speak with him. Always trying to talk past me and really did not listen to what I had to say. He tried making me get a loan for $10,000 more than what I needed. The only reason I stayed with them was because the rate they offered compared to other lenders.

Being a first time homebuyer I didn't know what to expect. The process felt overwhelming, but was well guided buy the agents, If I had to purchase another home, I wouldn't go the conventional route. I recommend this process with a brand new home. We went from first seeing the house to moving in in just over 40 days. Could have been even faster if we weren't just being curious at first.

Lennar tries to build the homes too fast so this affects the quality of the workmanship. Creates a lot of warranty issues and rework. I have the worst ceiling I have ever seen with drywall issues. Once you close on the house they forget about you and take forever to finish uncompleted items. You become a low priority and they move on to building other houses. Very frustrating. Have to keep calling and keep getting put off with excuses. Construction managers only care about finishing the house and moving on to the next one. Why do they rush the closing when the house is not finished.

Overall the experience was quick and relatively simple . Some quality issue drywall spots need to be touched up. Moved into the home 8 weeks ago and I am still waiting on my driveway to be poured.

Lennar is very hands off, they have little to no communication, on every side. Sales, mortgage and especially construction/warranty really do not make an effort once the sale is made.

Appreciate closing on time, but a lot of things were missed or not finished. Workmanship on some things is mediocre at best.

I am the "go big or go home" type of person and decided to have my first home-buying experience be: building one. Lennar and their team made the process that others have told me I would dread smooth and seamless. Unlike other builders in our area, I was able to choose the colors, tiles, siding, brick, and cabinetry I wanted that were in line with the trim level I chose. The process was so fun to see the land develop from farmland to street, to the foundation, to the framework, to my home! Of course, there were some delays that some people would be upset about, but being new construction, I understand utilities and some other issues will arise. Everybody who worked with us made our home buying experience exceptional and easy. Everything was handled in a professional, timely manner. Lennar made it such a great experience that it took a lot of pressure off us as homebuyers. I would highly recommend Lennar. There was no surprises and everything was upfront and explained to us with great knowledge and expertise.

The workmanship is very poor , my living room ceiling , you can see the taping on every seam and on my south wall you can see the screws popping through. The heat in my master bathroom is not working the vent must be blocked, I had to buy an electric heater to keep it warm at night, I have Sent emails about these issues but no response. Joe

Too much paper work and nonstop emails and letters coming from too many people and agencies that have caused me to miss deadlines and important issues. The Lennar people working with me have been Great and have responded quickly and generously. But the whole Lennar purchase Process sucked for me. I have bought 5 homes over the years and this was the worst experience ever. It didn't have to be that way. I hope it was better for others. The HOA paperwork was a surprise, I was told the HOA was just for the upkeep of the children's playground. (Not True). So what is that called? I wasn't given HOA paperwork until weeks after we moved in. A Big Plus--I finally was given weeks later that there is a list of people to fix issues with the house. Overall just OK in our opinion. SO MANY layers of people involved in this purchase. We never knew who was doing what or when. Not sure Lennar did either for that matter. Still have things to complete that were told would be done. It appears that they are in a big hurry to get out of this development and on to the next, so we’re getting short changed. Hope that isn’t the case!

We have had some unexpected and disappointing surprises. Our basement has been leaking water for two weeks or more now. This is a big deal to us. We are not so confident in the recommended solutions. We still do not have internet due to the builder hook up not in place yet. Its been over a month without internet. Its costing us more money to hook up to our phone.

The Lennar staff are great. The workmanship I see after being here is disappointing. My 60 day list has over 20 items that need to be looked at. Some should have been done before closing.

We close on a home that is worth almost 500k and the entire house was dirty, including all widows, bathtub, shower, rug and drywall was cracked . there were multiple holes that we told was going to fixed before closing but they were not. When i came into the house after closing, i was suprised. Is been over a month, and am still looking for a product that will remove stain and foot mark on my floor. I told the construction manager the day after we moved in but she ignored me. She also called me troubled another time, i spoke to her. They left a bucket of dirty water in the bedroom. I can't believe it. Bad job done overall. The house was rushed. I don't think I will refer anyone to lennar. The only reason why I rate this a 2 is only because of the customer Care. They responded to me immediately and fixed what they could. The guy in charge was so helpful. If I was to rate him alone, I will give him a 5 star. ... More

I'm very disappointed in the quality of this home. My list of complaints is extensive. I have severe allergies and asthma. I spent $2,400.00 in the first month just to make the house livable. Drywall work was done in the master bedroom. The carpet was not covered and drywall dust sat on it for weeks. Every carpet in the house was covered in a combination of drywall dust, black dirt and sand. Lennar cleaned the carpet but refused to replace it. The debris did not come out so I had to replace the carpet myself. I found a nail sticking out of the slab that was underneath the carpet Lennar put in. In addition, drywall dust was blowing out the vents. I had to have the vents cleaned. The blower wheel had to be removed from the furnace and hosed off outside. It was caked with drywall dust that git damp and hardened on it. To this day the house is very humid and is not comfortable without a dehumidifier. At my final walk through a painter was still doing touch up painting. When I got to the house 3 hours after the closing, the work was not finished. My garage door was open. The door into the house was unlocked and the garage door didn't work. The garage floor is covered with paint and drywall spots. My furnace has paint flakes all over it. A light on the ceiling was sprayed over with paint that I had to clean off. Both I and a neighbor have Kidde smoke/CO2 detectors that frequently go off. I learned the Kidde had a recent recall for defective products. I'm approaching my 60 day warranty period. The simple wire shelves in both bedrooms are either installed poorly, not level, brackets not fastened securely or defective sharp edges on shelf, bent. Lennar wants you to accept the house in whatever condition they build it in. They justify this by using the excuse that it is a production home. I've been told my expectations are too high. Its not unreasonable to expect a house to be finished, clean and with everything working properly. Photos are available for everything listed. ... More

Nick our Construction Manager ( not sure correct title) worked with us and assisted with a smooth transition. He is a great Lennar representative.

House was very dirty and the things I found one my first walk thou wasn't done on my move in day. Plus we had to wait for Daryll to arrive and I was told to be on time. I am still waiting for items to be fixed.

House still needs some repairs, that I addressed to Scott, I decided to wait until 11 month to get the rest of them repaired. But over all I'm not happy with there quality, I think quantity is what matters to them.

Everything from start to finish has been terrible. Awful communication. I moved in to a bird in the house, had a trim nail go through my heel because they rush to clean, and found 3 more laying in the hall. I have had black mold in 2 spots, my AC was NOT hooked up properly and didnt work. Still having issues with the upstairs. And the most recent, water coming through the ceiling from another leak! Oh and I have missed 3 days of work for them not to show up to fix the issues and they DO NOT care. I bought this home as a newly single mom, hoping it would be a fresh and easy start... and they have left me in tears and still with issues and more days to take off work! Dont waste your time! ... happy with new home quality

The home buying process went really fast and I did feel rushed to meet deadlines. Emails that were sent were sent on Friday afternoons mountain time so when it came to questions, I had to wait until Sunday or Monday to hear a response. My walkthrough was fast with the final walkthrough being rushed. All items that needed to be fixed were not done at the final walkthrough leading to a rushed job. When I finally received a key code to get in it was hours after closing. The work that was done was horrific. I'm being told that I have to wait until the 12 months. So I purchased a brand new home/build that has dings, mismatched paint, doors that won't close, lawn that looks horrible. The person I closed with and the person I purchased the home from went MIA. No one has checked in with me after working with me for months prior. The closing was not a celebration. It was disorganized and very long. No celebration at all. No pictures no handshake. I was expecting more and at least the seller to be there. After all this, I shouldn't be told that these are production homes and I didn't purchase a custom home.
