We’ve had several issues starting at the signing of the contract to present day. It’s not an experience to at I would want to relive. At this point would be hard to recommend to others. Sorry!

Did not care for one of the Lennar Mortgage folks. Rick was very abrupt every time I had to speak with him. Always trying to talk past me and really did not listen to what I had to say. He tried making me get a loan for $10,000 more than what I needed. The only reason I stayed with them was because the rate they offered compared to other lenders.

Being a first time homebuyer I didn't know what to expect. The process felt overwhelming, but was well guided buy the agents, If I had to purchase another home, I wouldn't go the conventional route. I recommend this process with a brand new home. We went from first seeing the house to moving in in just over 40 days. Could have been even faster if we weren't just being curious at first.

Lennar tries to build the homes too fast so this affects the quality of the workmanship. Creates a lot of warranty issues and rework. I have the worst ceiling I have ever seen with drywall issues. Once you close on the house they forget about you and take forever to finish uncompleted items. You become a low priority and they move on to building other houses. Very frustrating. Have to keep calling and keep getting put off with excuses. Construction managers only care about finishing the house and moving on to the next one. Why do they rush the closing when the house is not finished.

Overall the experience was quick and relatively simple . Some quality issue drywall spots need to be touched up. Moved into the home 8 weeks ago and I am still waiting on my driveway to be poured.

Lennar is very hands off, they have little to no communication, on every side. Sales, mortgage and especially construction/warranty really do not make an effort once the sale is made.

Everybody who worked with us made our home buying experience exceptional and easy. Everything was handled in a professional, timely manner. Lennar made it such a great experience that it took a lot of pressure off us as homebuyers. I would highly recommend Lennar. The workmanship is very poor , my living room ceiling , you can see the taping on every seam and on my south wall you can see the screws popping through. The heat in my master bathroom is not working the vent must be blocked, I had to buy an electric heater to keep it warm at night, I have Sent emails about these issues but no response. Joe

Too much paper work and nonstop emails and letters coming from too many people and agencies that have caused me to miss deadlines and important issues. The Lennar people working with me have been Great and have responded quickly and generously. But the whole Lennar purchase Process sucked for me. I have bought 5 homes over the years and this was the worst experience ever. It didn't have to be that way. I hope it was better for others. Overall just OK in our opinion. SO MANY layers of people involved in this purchase. We never knew who was doing what or when. Not sure Lennar did either for that matter. Still have things to complete that were told would be done. It appears that they are in a big hurry to get out of this development and on to the next, so we’re getting short changed. Hope that isn’t the case!

We have had some unexpected and disappointing surprises. Our basement has been leaking water for two weeks or more now. This is a big deal to us. We are not so confident in the recommended solutions. We still do not have internet due to the builder hook up not in place yet. Its been over a month without internet. Its costing us more money to hook up to our phone.

The Lennar staff are great. The workmanship I see after being here is disappointing. My 60 day list has over 20 items that need to be looked at. Some should have been done before closing.

This is the second home we built. The first one was not with lennar. I rate my overall exprience a 2. If I know what I know now, I would have gone with another builder. They wanted us to close on a certain date know that the house was not ready

We close on a home that is worth almost 500k and the entire house was dirty, including all widows, bathtub, shower, rug and drywall was cracked . there were multiple holes that we told was going to fixed before closing but they were not. When i came into the house after closing, i was suprised. Is been over a month, and am still looking for a product that will remove stain and foot mark on my floor. I'm very disappointed in the quality of this home. My list of complaints is extensive. I have severe allergies and asthma. I spent $2,400.00 in the first month just to make the house livable. Drywall work was done in the master bedroom. The carpet was not covered and drywall dust sat on it for weeks. Every carpet in the house was covered in a combination of drywall dust, black dirt and sand. Lennar cleaned the carpet but refused to replace it. The debris did not come out so I had to replace the carpet myself. I found a nail sticking out of the slab that was underneath the carpet ...

Everything from start to finish has been terrible. Awful communication. I moved in to a bird in the house, had a trim nail go through my heel because they rush to clean, and found 3 more laying in the hall. The home buying process went really fast and I did feel rushed to meet deadlines. Emails that were sent were sent on Friday afternoons mountain time so when it came to questions, I had to wait until Sunday or Monday to hear a response. My walkthrough was fast with the final walkthrough being rushed. All items that needed to be fixed were not done at the final walkthrough leading to a rushed job.
