This is the second home we built. The first one was not with lennar. I rate my overall exprience a 2. If I know what I know now, I would have gone with another builder. They wanted us to close on a certain date know that the house was not ready

We close on a home that is worth almost 500k and the entire house was dirty, including all widows, bathtub, shower, rug and drywall was cracked . there were multiple holes that we told was going to fixed before closing but they were not. Everyone was so nice when we were closing and now POOF no one is to be found. No one is responsive when we reach out with issues or concerns. It’s been just about 3 months and no one’s checked in on our 3 month follow up. Part of exterior of the home hasn’t been painted. Our fireplace only works sometimes and we don’t have a point of contact. There’s a missing vent flap that I can’t get anyone to replace so I’m fearful birds will move in. When we first began the process it started off good with our sales agent. Once the actual building started of the home is when miscommunication started happening/misinformation from sales agent. Experience with Lennar. Disappointing.

Lennar tries to build the homes too fast so this affects the quality of the workmanship. Creates a lot of warranty issues and rework. I have the worst ceiling I have ever seen with drywall issues. Once you close on the house they forget about you and take forever to finish uncompleted items. You become a low priority and they move on to building other houses. Very frustrating. Have to keep calling and keep getting put off with excuses. Construction managers only care about finishing the house and moving on to the next one. Why do they rush the closing when the house is not finished.

I'm very disappointed in the quality of this home. My list of complaints is extensive. I have severe allergies and asthma. I spent $2,400.00 in the first month just to make the house livable. Drywall work was done in the master bedroom. The carpet was not covered and drywall dust sat on it for weeks. Every carpet in the house was covered in a combination of drywall dust, black dirt and sand. Lennar cleaned the carpet but refused to replace it. The debris did not come out so I had to replace the carpet myself. I found a nail sticking out of the slab that was underneath the carpet ...

Slap dash and on to the next house

I'm disheartened as I encounter the cheapest bottom of the line appliances. Walkway in poor condition, pool not opened as the season is moving on. I'm replacing all shower heads Most of all I have the absolute worst concrete I've never seen anything like it, .. it's like black circles with micro cracks throughout and no one cares!!!!

House appears slapped together, no pride in workmanship. So many issues and takes forever to get resolution.

This is the 2nd home we have built in the past 3 years. The quality of Lennar is subpar. The walls are extremely rough and not square. The cabinets are all scratched up and boards broken along the floor. The banister has multiple spots that weren't stained. Doors off in frames, the wrong color front door and shutters were installed. They still have not been corrected. We will not be using Lennar for our next build.

I feel there has been way to many issues for being here less than 40 days, especially what we paid for this house. To start, 30 days prior to close water was pouring into the basement from a fitting that came loose the week they introduced water to the house. Surprisingly nobody was there or pressure tested the system. Just turn the water on and leave. We do enjoy our house but the hassle and problems we have had in just the first weeks alone are worrisome. To start from the very beginning we never heard from our mortgage loan officer. We reached out multiple times and never heard anything until the day of our closing. He sent us an email only to say our mortgage lender was changing. worst experience ever!!

We purchased a house end of May. We had 2 closing walkthroughs and put different colored painters tape up. Almost 60 days later, repairs still haven't been made. They keep telling me it will get fixed. I have spoken to 7 different representatives of the company, and my house is still in shambles. Leaky basement, dings and Knicks, walls that wave, scratches in the floor, hvac not hooked up, plus many more problems. Terrible responses to work we need done. Had my air conditioner go out in the first month and had to called around to 5 different people before someone would help me. Made a request on the Lennar service page to get my kitchen island fixed and am still Waiting for it. There are staples popping up thru the carpet all thru the house. Not impressed with the quality or the service after. Would never buy another Lennar house or ever recommend it to anyone. Very dissatisfied

Flooding issues

Before making my first payment my home had five separate issues with flooding from the main drain. !!!! Responsiveness was rated a 3 because someone from the corporate office did contact me regarding my issues and provided in writing timing of when all my repairs would get completed. Very unsatisfactory with the issues my wife and I had to deal with.

We got dooped

We were rushed into buying a home and selling ours at a lower price then we wanted. We were told if we weren't under contract within 2 weeks that our interest rate would jump from 5% to 7.2%. A week after we got a contract, lennar was advertising 4.5%. The upstairs is hot because dampners went set correctly and my furnace/AC leaks in the basement

The buying process was byzantine and very burdensome to me as a buyer. Too many different people involved in the sales process. Finance people required the same documents over and over, even when they did not exist. Everything is robo-calls and emails. Much of what was told me was found to be untrue. Floor is bubbled and is coming up in a lot of places after only a month. Windows not operable. Driveway and sidewalk are already putted and chipping. The workmanship is very poor , my living room ceiling , you can see the taping on every seam and on my south wall you can see the screws popping through. Everything from start to finish has been terrible. Awful communication. I moved in to a bird in the house, had a trim nail go through my heel because they rush to clean, and found 3 more laying in the hall. Where do I start? first, there have been some large cracks in the basement floor. then, they installed used patio door. and the biggest mistake by the builder, they dropped my garage floor. this means that the floor had to be lowered so that the incline from the street would not be too steep.
