Overall we are happy with our home. There are a few things that we’re not happy with. Our back yard is an issue with ground being uneven and over ran with weeds. There’s a few odd ends through out the house that we are not 100% pleased with. But, for the most part we are happy. The HOA definitely needs some rules in placed and I would like to see more landscaping in the entrance. The kids park needs a few things and better up keep. But I’m sure these are things can be addressed as the neighborhood gets older.

The home buying process went really fast and I did feel rushed to meet deadlines. Emails that were sent were sent on Friday afternoons mountain time so when it came to questions, I had to wait until Sunday or Monday to hear a response. My walkthrough was fast with the final walkthrough being rushed. All items that needed to be fixed were not done at the final walkthrough leading to a rushed job. I was extremely disappointed with the quality of material and the quality of work done on my home. They are working with us to fix these things, but they shouldn’t of had to been fixed to begin with. One of my biggest complaint is the trim. The trim throughout the entire house has chips, filled holes, and flakes everywhere.

If you are buying a Lennar home, please be aware that the quality of craftsmanship is very low especially with drywall. Get a home inspection completed. Also be VERY detail oriented during your walkthroughs. Take pictures of where the blue tape is so you can check if issues were corrected. Check drywall in corners, under cabinets, in closets, at baseboards, etc. We moved in on Dec 15, 2024 and have had several issues so far (multiple scratches/dents in flooring, our living room closet door fell off the door frame-screws fell out when the door was open, carpeting needed to be stretched to fit ...

During our celebratory walk thru, a week prior to our closing, we pointed out several issues that needed to be addressed. To our surprise, at the final walk thru, NOTHING had been repaired. Initial sales personnel excellent. Loan process terrible and disorganized. Pre-drywall walk through a failure because our concerns were not taken seriously and addressed. Closing positive experience. Had to request a step be installed from garage to entrance. Guess the home was not supposed to come with one??? Drywall plaster/mud heavy on garage floor. Guess I’ll be scraping that up in spring. Eric has been excellent and transparent with the repair process. The rest of the overall experience, not so much. If I could do it all over again, I definitely wouldn't. Nick was helpful during his part as well. From the get go I felt punished for not choosing the in-house lender which is extremely wild to me that sales are being potentially jeopardized because of stinginess wanting to keep everything in the Lennar circle. Lennar is very hands off, they have little to no communication, on every side. Sales, mortgage and especially construction/warranty really do not make an effort once the sale is made.

This is the second home we built. The first one was not with lennar. I rate my overall exprience a 2. If I know what I know now, I would have gone with another builder. They wanted us to close on a certain date know that the house was not ready

We close on a home that is worth almost 500k and the entire house was dirty, including all widows, bathtub, shower, rug and drywall was cracked . there were multiple holes that we told was going to fixed before closing but they were not. Everyone was so nice when we were closing and now POOF no one is to be found. No one is responsive when we reach out with issues or concerns. It’s been just about 3 months and no one’s checked in on our 3 month follow up. Part of exterior of the home hasn’t been painted. I never got the first walk through when they first started building. I have never seen such poor workmanship in my life! The painting, the caulking around the windows, the corners on every wall are messy ,,there is paint splatter in the floor!

I should have stayed at Oltoff builders in Clover grove! First walk through problems not taken care of, second walk through problems still not taken care of. Once you close no one seems to care All the big electric boxes and the AT&T bic should have been put in the backyards. Looks terrible out front. Bad Bad Bad!!

Experience with Lennar. Disappointing.

Lennar tries to build the homes too fast so this affects the quality of the workmanship. Creates a lot of warranty issues and rework. I have the worst ceiling I have ever seen with drywall issues. Once you close on the house they forget about you and take forever to finish uncompleted items. You become a low priority and they move on to building other houses. Very frustrating. Have to keep calling and keep getting put off with excuses. Construction managers only care about finishing the house and moving on to the next one. Why do they rush the closing when the house is not finished.

I'm very disappointed in the quality of this home. My list of complaints is extensive. I have severe allergies and asthma. I spent $2,400.00 in the first month just to make the house livable. Drywall work was done in the master bedroom. The carpet was not covered and drywall dust sat on it for weeks. Every carpet in the house was covered in a combination of drywall dust, black dirt and sand. Lennar cleaned the carpet but refused to replace it. The debris did not come out so I had to replace the carpet myself. I found a nail sticking out of the slab that was underneath the carpet ...

Slap dash and on to the next house

I'm disheartened as I encounter the cheapest bottom of the line appliances. Walkway in poor condition, pool not opened as the season is moving on. This is the 2nd home we have built in the past 3 years. The quality of Lennar is subpar. The walls are extremely rough and not square. The cabinets are all scratched up and boards broken along the floor. The banister has multiple spots that weren't stained. Doors off in frames, the wrong color front door and shutters were installed. They still have not been corrected. We will not be using Lennar for our next build.

I feel there has been way to many issues for being here less than 40 days, especially what we paid for this house. To start, 30 days prior to close water was pouring into the basement from a fitting that came loose the week they introduced water to the house. We do enjoy our house but the hassle and problems we have had in just the first weeks alone are worrisome. To start from the very beginning we never heard from our mortgage loan officer. We reached out multiple times and never heard anything until the day of our closing. He sent us an email only to say our mortgage lender was changing. We purchased a house end of May. We had 2 closing walkthroughs and put different colored painters tape up. Almost 60 days later, repairs still haven't been made. They keep telling me it will get fixed. I have spoken to 7 different representatives of the company, and my house is still in shambles. Leaky basement, dings and Knicks, walls that wave, scratches in the floor, hvac not hooked up, plus many more problems.
