Workmanship of the floors, walls, bathroom is bad. Multiple issues left unresolved . Floors creak and squeak like a 100 year old home

Everyone was so nice when we were closing and now POOF no one is to be found. No one is responsive when we reach out with issues or concerns. It’s been just about 3 months and no one’s checked in on our 3 month follow up. Part of exterior of the home hasn’t been painted. Our fireplace only works sometimes and we don’t have a point of contact. There’s a missing vent flap that I can’t get anyone to replace so I’m fearful birds will move in. The ring system has been very difficult to set up as the builders put up pieces of it and didn’t leave all the instructions. The myQ for the garage door openers is just the cheap $30 add on you can buy at Menards and isn’t built into the garage door openers. The garage door opener isn’t the nice quiet one it’s loud and clunky. The deadbolt isn’t lined up right and there aren’t instructions to program it so we just bought a new one. To be honest, I want to say that the purchase process is very complicated, the assistance was not the most correct, the construction was not well checked before being delivered, which caused damage the first day of moving, the price was the market price

When we first began the process it started off good with our sales agent. Once the actual building started of the home is when miscommunication started happening/misinformation from sales agent. Before I give more details we do like our home we chose and location. Now as for quality and professionalism on construction side I have to say is not very good. We have been in our new home 6 weeks now. We were not able to fully enjoy our home because of issues that were not corrected prior to closing. We did our first final walk through to write down our concerns and issues we found needing to be fixed before closing day which was the final walk through to make sure things were fixed. First, the fact that a customer voices issues, we voiced a lot before closing and a month before closing for things to be fixed before certain things were done to not cause more damage or work nobody from sales to construction manager listened or did anything. So we voiced everything to the construction manager here that needed to be fixed and corrected. So a week later is our closing day and we first go to the house to go over all of the to do things that should have been done. We did go the day prior to see if everything we wrote down needing to be fixed and still done was actually done. Guess what NOTHING was done except the carpet by landing was replaced from a big stain. We go the next day on our closing day to see that people were there doing things then right before we had to close Cleaning crew was there and left when we showed up, our home was delivered dirty we bought a over half a million dollar home handed to us DIRTY I was disappointed and disgusted because the master bathroom by toilet there was with urine all over the floor and toilet seat I felt like this was a joke the floor the windows the kitchen I mean nothing was cleaned like we were told would be cleaned. The construction manager after dealing with him on multiple issues i feel has no professionalism nor good listening skills. I don’t like pointing fingers or putting one down but I will call it like I see after many attempts even after closing to get things done he failed to listen/pay attention to what we voiced. I mean we were missing a screen for a basement window I was told a brand new one would be ordered and delivered to us well three weeks went by nothing was delivered so when the construction manager came regarding another issue we we’re having with electrical I asked about this missing screen and he said we have some around i will get you two I only needed one, the next day or two days later two guys show up with two screens and i told them we only need one so they left it. I looked at it and they provided us a dirty bent unusable screen with holes in it. This issue was resolved because the warranty person I was dealing with I showed him the pictures and explained to him everything and a week later we got delivered a new screen not sure if it was brand new but was in better condition and the warranty person said that the construction manager wasn’t sure why the brought us one that was damaged Well he’s the one that said they will find some that are just around so to me that shows the tradesman are poor and construction manager poor at communicating and paying attention whats delivered To me that is such bad organization. That is why 6 weeks now were still dealing with issues to be fixed. I really hope no other customers go through what we did it started of to be exciting and we were so happy getting near the end of the process being unhappy somewhat, disappointed, and disgusted with how our home was delivered to us. The warranty people who handled our service requests and actually got things moving were absolutely amazing. Great customer service provided. Not the best at following up. There are a few outstanding issues. A representative has been out. Someone was supposed to return the following week for repairs n such. We haven't heard anything. We've been here 3 months. Overall, I absolutely love the area and our new home.

Compared to other builders Lennar is superior in all aspects.

Lennar is prompt with service and very responsive. However, we were not offered some of the items we requested in the house . Our choices of some items or materials were not offered. This gives us some apathy about the house !

Hello, The home interior was beautifully built and has had zero issues in our first month. Our only complaint was the overall curb appeal of the landscape. There was no mesh no avoid weed, edging was bad, plant disbursement looked uneven, and just not great. I would rather have landscape be bad than anything else, so still not upset! Our first project was to completely gut it though as a result and do it ourselves. Other than that, everything has been great! Sadly the sod came in when it was crazy hot, so that has been a process to revive but not the fault of Lennar on that! Thanks, Nick

I wouldn’t build with Lennar again. The quality for what I paid is not worth it. I have walls that curve, so many uneven walls, vents and doors. I had a leak my first weekend after move in, in May it’s now July and the hole still hasn’t been fixed. I was also told we would be getting replacement doors for the hvac room and our garage storage door that was damaged before move in and that still hasn’t happened either. Just not worth it.

I'm disheartened as I encounter the cheapest bottom of the line appliances. Walkway in poor condition, pool not opened as the season is moving on. I'm replacing all shower heads Most of all I have the absolute worst concrete I've never seen anything like it, .. it's like black circles with micro cracks throughout and no one cares!!!!

Terrible responses to work we need done. Had my air conditioner go out in the first month and had to called around to 5 different people before someone would help me. Made a request on the Lennar service page to get my kitchen island fixed and am still Waiting for it. There are staples popping up thru the carpet all thru the house. Not impressed with the quality or the service after. Would never buy another Lennar house or ever recommend it to anyone. Very dissatisfied

Look at all walls for nail heads sticking out of drywall. Check Bathroom tile workmanship. Look for warped cabinet doors, bulging carpet, etc. we like our home but some areas of workmanship are very shoddy and looks as if completed carelessly. we cannot comment on outside due to areas not complete due to weather.

Before making my first payment my home had five separate issues with flooding from the main drain. !!!! Responsiveness was rated a 3 because someone from the corporate office did contact me regarding my issues and provided in writing timing of when all my repairs would get completed. Very unsatisfactory with the issues my wife and I had to deal with.

Great experience! Good people to business with and very responsive to questions or issues.

Some condition issues with trying to close before the end of the year.

I love my new home! My problem issue is poor workmanship under my kitchen island. The wall is cracked & left with no trim completion. I called and feel it should have been immediately taken care of, yet I have to wait for 60 day warranty. Also, I have received NO USPS mail delivery?!?! & have lived here almost 60 days.

I was extremely disappointed with the quality of material and the quality of work done on my home. They are working with us to fix these things, but they shouldn’t of had to been fixed to begin with. One of my biggest complaint is the trim. The trim throughout the entire house has chips, filled holes, and flakes everywhere.

Nobody from Lennar at closing. Was explained next to nothing throughout the entire process. Feel like only reason some things were fixed was because we brought it up before house was finished. Closed even though not finished. Many things still need fixing. Communication sucks. Period.

Initial sales personnel excellent. Loan process terrible and disorganized. Pre-drywall walk through a failure because our concerns were not taken seriously and addressed. Closing positive experience. Had to request a step be installed from garage to entrance. Guess the home was not supposed to come with one??? Drywall plaster/mud heavy on garage floor. Guess I’ll be scraping that up in spring. Have since had frozen water pipes due to improper insulation which Lennar is dealing with. Gas leak on the outside which the gas company has dealt with. Have been here only about seven weeks so don’t know what more could come up. Good thing I love this Cal-Atlantic design townhouse. Haven’t seen better designed townhomes with any other builder. ... Very poor craftsmanship,from the wood framing ,siding,tile,etc.Would not recommend Lennar at all.

This is my second Lennar home. Simply pick the house you like. They sales rep will show you what lot it can be built in and the details of the home cabinet color etc. Lennar has its own Morgage and insurance company with the best prices. Come back in 5-6 months to move in, okay I drive by weekly but I didn’t have to I was just amazed at how fast and smooth the process was. If I get relocated for work I will build a Lennar home again!!!
