Everything has been absolutely great with our new home! This is our third home since getting married. Our first two were 120-year-old houses—we moved into one flip and then fully gutted another down to the studs ourselves. Transitioning to a brand-new Lennar build has been a breath of fresh air; instead of endless DIY projects, we actually get to just relax and enjoy family time now!We loved Indy, but after 18 years, we were ready to trade the busy city life for the peaceful charm of Greenfield. We visited Lennar during an open house event, and the entire team was fantastic. Our sales team and loan officer were wonderful, but a special shout-out goes to our terrific salesperson, Gary *****. We were genuinely on the fence, and if it wasn't for Gary’s incredible guidance, we would probably still be living somewhere else! While no new build is without minor imperfections, Lennar's customer service has completely won us over. Their builder team is incredibly responsive and has quickly, successfully addressed every single post-sale warranty item we’ve submitted..and not just that, they call us within 24 hours of any warranty claim request to discuss in more detail. It's a service level that beats conscierge treatment at fine hotels. The neighborhood itself is a beautiful move-up community just a few miles outside of Greenfield. It is remarkably peaceful here with lots of trees, birds around the ponds, a great playground, and it's just a couple of miles from the Pennsy Trailhead. Coming from Indy, it was a bit of a culture shock at first, but the kids absolutely love it! We really couldn't ask for much more from Lennar. The value for the price we paid honestly made us blush. To find a home with a three-car garage, James Hardie siding, quartz countertops, spacious floorplans, a highly responsive builder team, and a gorgeous community layout for under $425k is ridiculously good in 2026. I think there needs to be much more attention. To detail and actual care when building these houses. Things are done sloppy and fast with no care. Disappointed. Joe was nice but our builder Chandra made us have a bad experience

The mortgage process was great. The attention to detail in the house was not that good. Found a lot of imperfections even after pointing them out a week before closing.

There is no response to issue once the house closes escrow. I have been trying to contact Zack regarding our floors and landscaping. No one returned calls or emails. Several people have had the same experience.

Sales and closing process was flawless. After the close service, not so good. Very unresponsive. Very disappointing.

We were kept in loop at every stage of development and the signing was seamless

From start to finish this process was amazing. From the moment we toured a home to the moment we closed was so rewarding. We can't thank Lennar enough for such a great experience and will always recommend them.

Disappointed with construction standards now that we have been in the home a few months. I HATE the flat walls.... whyyyyy. Impossible to clean. I'm assuming this was done because it looks the best and hides the most issues for mass home production/ speed. CHEAP doors and carpet. Some very odd light switch placements

Overall, I had good experience with Lennar throughout the home-buying process. Their sales representative, Margaret, was very helpful at the beginning of the process. She explained everything clearly and guided us through each step, making the experience much easier. During the construction phase, however, there were several areas where the experience could have been better. Communication was inconsistent at times, which reduced our confidence in the process. One of the biggest disappointments was the pre-drywall inspection. Earlier in the process, Margaret had told us that we would be allowed to attend. However, when the time came, Lennar reversed that decision and did not allow us, as homeowners, to be present. We had hired an independent third-party inspector, and we simply wanted to walk through the home ourselves to confirm that the items identified in the inspection report had been addressed before the drywall was installed. Being denied that opportunity was frustrating and eroded our trust. Relying solely on the builder to verify that its own work had been corrected felt like a conflict of interest, especially after we had invested in an independent inspection.Their construction manager was very supportive and help address some of our concerns to best of his ability. Another frustration was that our concierge, Taylor, was very difficult to reach and rarely answered phone calls, making it challenging to get timely updates or answers to our questions. We were also disappointed that we were not allowed to add a small window to our bathroom when we booked the home as we had asked Margaret at the time. Since then, we've noticed that newer homes with the same floor plan now include that window, which made the earlier decision even more frustrating. Despite these issues, our overall experience with Lennar was positive, and we're happy with our home. Better communication during construction, more responsive customer support, greater consistency in policies, and more flexibility with design options would have made the experience even better. ... overall experience was great- did not understand why it took 3 1/2 months before work started

During the buying process, we had to contact the finance team multiple times before we heard back on any questions we had or information we needed. Nearly every time, we were the ones reaching out to them to find out what needed to be submitted, as opposed to them guiding us through the process. It was a very frustrating process, and if we hadn't done that, I'm not sure we would've completed the loan requirements before closing. In the month and a half since closing, we've been in constant contact with multiple people from the warranty team because they neglected to fix major issues that were pointed out during our third-party inspection, our walk-through, and our closing (three opportunities to fix them before closing), as well as new issues that have popped up since moving in. The construction quality is done with cheap materials (multiple Lennar employees have said this to us) and is done quickly through contractors that care about speed over quality. This has led to minor issues all over the house as well as a major leak needing a new ceiling and a completely new front door within a week of being there. With each of these problems, we've had to reach out to the warranty team several times to get their help on anything, and they've had to come back multiple times for the same issues because of the poor workmanship during repairs. Overall, we're nervous about other issues that will arise over time, and it would be highly unlikely that we would recommend buying a house with Lennar to anyone we know. ... More

Overall our experience has been great. We love our new townhome. Any issues we had were addressed quickly and to our satisfaction.

My experience with Lennar was exceptional at every step of the process. From my initial inquiry all the way through to the closing, my questions were thoughtfully answered and my concerns were immediately addressed. The quality of workmanship was evident throughout the entire build, and I’m not ashamed to admit I monitored the progress daily. I was constantly surprised that even the little details were being done. Things like solid reinforced joists during framing and sanding down floorboard seams prior to the laminate flooring and carpet going in. These are things the homeowner would typically never see but truly set my mind at ease knowing that this attention to detail was consistent throughout. And if something wasn’t right, they made it so. My house was just weeks away from completion when I noticed that during a recent heavy rain there was some pooling of water occurring in the front porch slab against the garage foundation. I brought it to the attention of my building liaison with the expectation that I would be told there wasn’t much that could be done at that point. Instead, the very next day the entire cement slab had been removed and re-poured. It was like this on the financing and warranty side as well. Questions answered and if something wasn’t quite right, they corrected it. I couldn’t be more pleased by the treatment I was given by Lennar. I highly recommend this company. Closing was online and super easy the only negative thing I would say was the amount of paperwork they want you to download It’s somewhat overwhelming, but the actual experience of buying was very easy.

After building a home, buying a spec home, and now a Lennar home, the process was fast sm smoth the communication at every step was amazing. We are loving our new home and do glad we chose Lennar as our builder.

process was scared but we made it. let’s see how Lennar gonna treat me as a customer.

Good process from purchase to closing. So far response to post purchase issues has been average in my opinion .

Property Damage: Lennar Refuses to Pay for the Full Extent of the Damages

Lennar reps for construction are horrible to respond to issues. I moved in and the final walk through (the same day as closing), 2 hours before, there is issues in the house that was not fixed that I was promised would be fixed. The paint and touch ups on the wall were not fixed, I have a broken cabinet that I was told someone would be out to “temporarily fix” which was to Caulk it and I’d be placed in the system as a potential cabinet replacement if it’s not up to standard and that we would be in touch.. This was on 3/16 the day I closed. And I have yet to hear back no matter how many times I call or text the managers cell phone. There is flooring that is chipped underneath the rug by the entrance door. I notified the same guy at the same time about the flooring. Same thing, we would have that scheduled for it to be fixed. The front door seal is already falling apart. Overall, I do not think I will buy another house from Lennar. I use to love the houses that were made, but it’s clear that it’s simply cheap and well over priced for the sq footage especially the quality of work done. Not to mention, I’m not allowed to put a fence in the easement but Lennars landscape company is allowed to plant a tree over it. We had a great home buying experience from start to finish

We had been searching for a while for an home and randomly decided to check out a model home duplex one time. As soon as we saw it we knew it was a perfect fit for us! The square feet is just right, the open concept we just love and a large master bedroom! On a plus side our neighborhood as a wooded area with walking path too! We are very excited about that. Lennar is very responsive to any issue that come up as well.

This whole experience has been just okay. The Lennar mortgage company gets negative 5 stars from me, but I think this is asking about the building experience. Things I liked: * the people we worked with on the sales/building side (NOT THE MORTGAGE SIDE) were kind and helpful * timeframe was pretty accurate (albeit they broke ground 3 months after initially planned during our first meeting) but the ~4 to 5 months they quoted was right on target as it took 4.5 months. Things I didn’t like: * There were so many people introduced to us along our 13 month process, I didn’t really know who I was supposed to contact for what. We had the initial salesperson, then there was the first homebuyer concierge who was assigned to us in June and mentioned she would be going on maternity leave in August. Construction was supposed to begin in July. We were assigned a new homebuyer concierge in July as the original girl went on maternity leave. By the time construction began in October (I believe on the same day actually) we were assigned another homebuyer concierge as the previous one (2nd one) was moving into a new role. Maybe this is unique to our situation due to maternity leave and position change but I was never sure who I needed to contact with questions between the salesperson and the concierge. Also had 4 separate people assigned during the Lennar mortgage fiasco at the same time that added to my confusion but that’s a story for another day.. or another review. However, the final homebuyer concierge was pretty helpful when we had questions. * We were told that we needed to choose our exterior details ASAP as there were rules against people around you choosing the same colors and it was first come, first serve. Imagine our surprise when we see the house TWO doors down is the same exact color with maybe one shade lighter brick. * We were told they don’t finish drywall in the garage as it is not required by the city. They told us they only had to finish the wall around the breaker box and any wall adjacent to living space. Our next door neighbors house has a fully finished garage and when I asked him, he said they told him that Noblesville changed their codes and they were required to finish it. We closed 2 weeks apart. I emailed our homebuyer concierge and asked about this and was told that the codes haven’t changed (so someone gave our neighbor bad information??) and that the neighbors house had more livable space above the garage and that there was a structural beam there… well my stepbrother bought the same exact model that the neighbors have and his garage is only 1/2 finished too so I’m pretty sure we were fed a load of crap. * The same neighbors had a plumber come out to install a water softener and the plumber told them the plumbing wasn’t done correctly. He also went to the house next to them and said same thing. They had to put in request with Lennar to have the plumbers (Earl Gray) come back out to fix it. I went down to look at our list of trades they left for us and Earl Gray did our plumbing too. Seems like if they realized one of the trades they hired did something incorrectly, they should proactively send them out to each house they plumbed to either fix or verify it was done correctly - not wait until the buyer realizes on their own. ...
