After our move in we discovered a major leak behind the wall between two bathrooms - the two needed redone and Jason with Customer Care was on top of the entire project and very responsive in seeing everything was done and done well. He even called in a mold mitigation specialist to make sure everything was clean and safe. While we were not happy with the need for the mitigation, we were extremely happy with Jason. He is the best and always cheerful.

I will have a clearer opinion after the year.

We were living far from the home as it was being built and Lennar kept us updated and sent photos of the building process every week. The home is well built, things that needed attention were handled quickly, Everything is working great.

They kept us up-to-date on our building progress and what to expect in very difficult times.

The value of Lennar is great. We have had a few issues which have been resolved quickly. The sales team is great. Viet was very helpful and kept us updated throughout the process of our build w pics.

We love the home and the floor plan. They are very good at fixing issue's. The biggest problem is the whole house vibrates. Lennar went cheap on floor joists and braces and the slightest movements cause vibration, shaking and vibrating. We can feel the washing machine on spin cycle anywhere in the house, including the garage. Wish they would've braised the house better to deter vibration and shaking.

Lennar seems to be everywhere around here. That being said, there are many positives to purchasing a Lennar home: attractive designs, functional and attractive interior spaces, many inclusions that are extra with other builders, nicely landscaped communities, helpful ( for the most part) staff. On the whole, Lennar homes are a good value for the price. We are happy with our new home. The down side to purchasing with such a large company is you won’t get personal attention when something goes wrong, and there are limited opportunities to customize.

Lennar houses are worth of the money. However, their system of dealing with customers is horrible. No central / nodal person. Nobody owns the responsibility of dealing with customer. You will be runnig from pillar to post in resolving the issues without proper direction. In nutshell it is a nightmare in dealing with Lennar. But their prices are reasonable.

Ask lots of questions and keep pushing for updates. We were building from 1000 miles away and unable to see how things were going. The weekly update videos were not helpful. Get a 3rd party inspection, we found roof issues but they were handled. My kitchen island countertop was scratched when we took possession, they replaced with another scratched one, but have agreed to replace again, 3rd times a charm? We had a water leak under bathroom sink first day. My kitchen sink had a large dent on it on closing day, so while movers were moving plumbers were changing out sink (that should obviously have been replaced prior). Our irrigation sprung a leak the day they tested it, they agreed to fix and that was a month ago...Lennar is very quick to respond. But we have had several issues since move in. The process of purchasing the home with Lennar was great, it was quick and easy especially since it’s a brand new home. Once moved in, everything also ran smoothly ( only ran into two problems, AC and toilet) so far. The team were very responsive to the issues and fixed it right away. The quality of workmanship however was hoping a better quality ( not too bad but wish it’s better, expecting more). Be aware of the walk through and issue. Employees of Lennar have been great to work with. Lennar's opportunity is to use some better quality when it comes to door and trimming out the home. Need more attention given to detail.

Location of home and floor plan well liked and met our needs. Quality and workmanship was disappointing and expected better. The people at Lennar were responsive and worked to address a few issues encountered and made things right. We had higher standards than the contractors used for some of the work performed, but do understand supply and resource shortages played a major role into some of the problems. All builders are experiencing this problem. Overall, we like the home and satisfied with resolutions.

Had a lot of homes constructed at one time which lead to a few issues still unresolved. Like the home, but follow up on unresolved issues and communication could be better. Multiple no shows on warranty items in less than a month in the home.

I think a lot of finishing touches were neither finished or touched up ~

The prebuy experience was great. Once closed and moved in, the follow up and assistance by that person was sorely lacking. Makes me wonder how any issues or problems will be handled.

Communication and updates before the closing date.

Well designed floor plans. Keeps buyer well informed on progress. Initially very responsive to issues, but drifts to mediocre after six weeks. Work force appears to have incentives to build quickly, not well. Do-overs typically done by different entities so no one accountable. Cheapest grade HVAC, water heater, and appliances.

Our experience with Lennar has been mostly positive. From the start we liked our salesperson, who was helpful, honest and explained the process along the way and made us feel very comfortable. Then we started working with Lennar Mortgage, and had a very bad experience.. The building process went smoothly and we were very pleased with the home initially, and for the most part we still are. A builder once told us "There are a lot of parts in a house" and we know everything isn't going to work as it should, and warranty issues are going to need to be corrected. Initially that was being done, but with about 15 things....mostly small ticket items...on our warranty list, Lennar has been dragging their feet here lately. As more homes are completed, and our addition is only 1/4 built out, we fear that warranty issues are going to get less and less attention as newer owners have multiple warranty issues. And we're tired of hearing everything blamed on Covid 19....we're coming out of the pandemic and while supply chain issues still exist, they aren't as problematic as they were in 2020. ... More

They have a good system in place to address concerns if you have them after moving in. However, it would have been nice to have a very clearly defined sheet on what is covered under warranty and until when and what is not. Also, what the HOA is responsible for and what Lennar is responsible for. We are in a position now of considering getting a water softener. We have had dry skin and film on our shower door after only a handful of showers. It might have been nice if someone explained to us that the water in Westfield is not great and is very hard. This is an expense that we were not banking on. We are from Illinois and have never had these problems with our water. ... More
