Easiest home buying experience we have ever had.

Great workmanship. Quality products and continuous updates

The employees are great. Kind and helpful. Debra made the purchase experience easy and Josh was very attentive regarding quality issues. Unfortunately, the subs and contractors are NOT GOOD. Our electric was poorly done and the quality of the garage door is unspeakable. We have had cascades of water pouring down the inside and the vendor says it’s NOT covered. Additionally, if we caulk the windows it voids whatever warrantee there it! Very disappointed.

The workmanship quality and issue handling was not up to standards. Infact, I had a very bad experience dealing with the closure of the issues that I had highlighted during my orientation. I was promised that certain issues will be addressed before closing, but a lot them were not addressed even after closing. It seemed they wanted to get done with closing without acknowledging that I still have open concerns. I would definitely not like to go through the same experience ever again. I hope Lennar takes this feedback seriously, coz customer satisfaction should be one of the primary objectives for the quality team and they definitely ignore that. ... More

Communication from Dale in sales was poor. We were promised a weekly status call with the construction manager and received exactly one in six months. Our salesperson was always out of the office so responses were slow. The construction manager usually got back to us quickly. Lennar Mortgage was difficult to work with as well. We received rate quotes and then when we tried to accept them, they changed and acted like the rates never existed. Though we were promised $4500, they used $1000 to buy down the rate without telling us. The overall quality was average. Many studs were bowed and twisted. The yard was left with much construction debris under and in the grass. The painting was excellent. The included smart home kit is excellent and well-packaged. Workmanship was poor at best. House closed on December 15th Did not really take possession until January 18th

My experience was so smooth, most especially with the help of my sales reps person. MONICA is a lovely and very, very calm lady, always paying attention to details and always ready to help. Goes beyond and above for me. i really appreciate her

Beautiful homes with terrible finishes! There is no attention to detail. The skill level of the workers working on these homes is not great, to say the least. The drywall, paint and trimwork are the worst finishes. Lennar should have a better oversight of their contractors/subcontractors/sub-subcontractors. I hope this helps a potential buyer decide.

I am not happy with the LENNAR. We had hard time with this purchase with Lennar. Specially the loan officer. He provided the incorrect information in disclosure. And he blamed us not reviewing the document. And later for another disclosure he did mistake on estimated closing cost and we I had to dig into email to prove he did mistake as the disclosure does not matching with what he said to us over the email. I am very upset with the response I have received from Lennar.

What would I like other homebuyers to know about our experience... remove any emotion for the initial decision-making process and talk to the people that currently live in the development that you are looking at. If we would have done that, we probably would not have purchased the house that we did. Multiple people in our community have experienced or are experiencing what we are going through with the lack of workmanship, pride in their product, and responsiveness to issues. This was evident with the lack of communication and responsiveness through the building process, not having corrected any of the issues identified before closing, and lack of follow up after submitting repair tickets. ... Overall, the building experience was very unprofessional and done with poor quality. There were several damages on the bathtub, refrigerator, dirt that was not cleaned, almost all kitchen cabinet doors were damaged and poorly repainted. There had to be constant pressure on them for it to be done correctly. Poor craftsmanship was present. They pushed that they be paid even when the unit was not ready.

My experience has not been the best from the beginning. The telephone tree kind of communication with the site manager and sales person in not getting the message right. I can go into details about how hard it was to talk to Chandra. Then the mortgage officer rarely listen to us and the constant missed opportunities of communicating on what was needed and not needed. The back and forward was confusing. Then I lost my VA opportunity in buying this home. That was just the beginning part of my his. Please call to find out more

Buying process was good and easy........quality is just ok but that's kind of expected in these kind of developments I think. Service to take care of things afterward has been great overall.

Our experience was easy from start to finish. The response time to an issue has been outstanding’ easy to work with, friendly!

The whole process was very easy.

Issue started from Day 1 after closing and response from Leenar is unimaginable, till date its not yet closed. Very bad build quality, lot of issue construction with electrical material quality

Sales process was great, then color choices, tile, brick etc. became an issue. Forced to revert to other choices. Still trying to get little quality issues resolved in the warranty process. Slow to respond, some final inspection items still need to be corrected 2 months after closing. Not being negative, I just expect quicker, better service.

We have had a wonderful experience purchasing our new home in Osborne Trails in Westfield, IN. Everyone we have worked with from the first phone call through the closing and beyond has been great! Any issues we have had after moving in have been resolved quickly and professionally. We highly recommend Lennar!

I would like to include that our experience was great.

We like the layout, room size, fireplace and lighting. We are very disappointed in the windows and sliding door. They leak air badly when wind is over 15 mph. This was particularly bad with the recent winter storm with winds up to 40 mph and blowing snow. We actually had a snowdrift on the inside windowsill at one window. Our furnace ran continuously for 3 days because of the cold air blowing into our house. This is unacceptable. We have Cambria quartz countertops in our our Florida condo and in our previous home. It had a beautiful glossy finish. The countertops in our new home have a dull finish. Also the carpet in our 3 bedrooms is disappointing, not what we expected in a $500K home. ... More

PROS: Excellent workmanship/finishing skills. Value for money CONS: Make sure to get a realtor to help keep the construction managers in check.
