They work efficiently and expeditiously

We are very happy with our new home. We wished that our HOA was as responsive and involved as the Lennar builders have been. Issues that we have come across have been addressed by Lennar in a timely manner.

Lennar has been very good addressing after sale issues with the home. The home buying process was very smooth.

Sales agent was great...Orientation was well done.

Be sure to have your agent with you on walk thru

The only issue I had was after we did the walk thru the week before closing. The lender/ underwriting had issues with stuff that I gave them months ago which really wasn't an issue. I just felt if you had all my stuff since December then those issues should have come to light then not the week of closing

Our issue with workmanship has to do with finishes on woodwork, cabinetry interiors, laundry room lack of cabinetry/sink, water lines from water tank being exposed and invasive in laundry room, poor finishes where pipes go into floor or through cabinets, lack of waterproof paint in bathrooms and kitchen, bathroom floors not being “upgraded” (our understanding was tule floors), low quality paint, non existence of towel holders anywhere (should be standard in all bathrooms). 10x10 patio is inadequate. No ability to upgrade anything. Requirement to keep trash cans in garage is ridiculous as during spring and summer months the trash smell will be unbearable. ... More

Trust worthy and good experience.

On the whole we love the house. Bedroom walls do not stop sound as much as they should between rooms and the bathroom.

The value of Lennar is great. We have had a few issues which have been resolved quickly. The sales team is great. Viet was very helpful and kept us updated throughout the process of our build w pics.

In general the home seems to be well-built, and Lennar was responsive with issues our inspector found prior to closing. The house seems to be well insulated and reasonably efficient. The garages are deceivingly small and are not very wide or will allow a full-sized truck to be parked inside (too short). The driveways are also very narrow at around 12' wide - several folks have had contractors widen their driveways after purchase. There are minor workmanship issues around the house such as walls that aren't square, trim that isn't square, troweled joints in the sidewalks that aren't square, etc. The base Whirlpool range that comes with homes has a strange grate pattern and pots are not stable when stirring contents inside. The base double ovens seem to work well. The dishwasher had an issue with the gasket but we fixed that ourselves. One of our toilets is leaking at the base, however the rest of the plumbing seems to be OK so far. The quartz counters and subway tile backspalsh in the kitchen is nice, as are the finishes in the master bathroom. ... More

We love the home and the floor plan. They are very good at fixing issue's. The biggest problem is the whole house vibrates. Lennar went cheap on floor joists and braces and the slightest movements cause vibration, shaking and vibrating. We can feel the washing machine on spin cycle anywhere in the house, including the garage. Wish they would've braised the house better to deter vibration and shaking.

Lennar seems to be everywhere around here. That being said, there are many positives to purchasing a Lennar home: attractive designs, functional and attractive interior spaces, many inclusions that are extra with other builders, nicely landscaped communities, helpful ( for the most part) staff. On the whole, Lennar homes are a good value for the price. We are happy with our new home. The down side to purchasing with such a large company is you won’t get personal attention when something goes wrong, and there are limited opportunities to customize.

The overall experience was good. We ran into delays but that’s expected. The sales staff was great, the customer care experience post closing has been great. The construction manager was average as he was not as detailed and peculiar as needed (thus resulting in lots of fixes afterwards). The worksmanship of the subcontractors used are average, could be better. However, any issues we’ve had since closing, they’ve addressed with no argument so that part of customer service is superb.

This was my first time going through this process. I worried about everything, was skeptical, I questioned everything about providing so much information and I was stressed. The Lennar representative guided me through all of the paperwork, which was a lot and Lennar dropped the price, which was a BLESSING! The lender representative made me feel better about the process. She was patient and answered my questions, reassuring me that the process is normal and not to worry. I received encouraging texts from my realtor, which also helped. My realtor was present at the final stage, “the signing”. One thing that bothered me was the large down payment I had to come up with. I was expecting some assistance as a first time homebuyer, but was told my interest rate would increase and I would need to raise my credit score. I wasn’t not prepared for that; but God made a way out of no way! As a first timer, I was not aware of so much such as Lennar did not give an option to choose the color of the house or flooring, they use “cheap feeling” door knobs, toilet paper holder, doors and screen doors. Shower rods, towel racks, window coverings were not provided; but I’m guessing that is so I can personalize my home. I was told they would include a washer and dryer but I’m not sure if I’m paying for it or was it really an extra incentive. After I moved in I received congratulatory texts and emails from EVERYONE involved in my experience! I’m getting settled in and learning to deal with the imperfections. Overall, I am happy (even though it may not sound like it) in my Lennar home. It’s not bad for my first house! ... More

Need help with new home repairs

Found missing paint places and quality of workmanship not the best.

The experience was not completely disappointing but it was not amazing either.

Lots of paint splatters. Windows were filthy…..never cleaned after installation. Construction debris at the end of the street has never been cleaned up. Positives….. quality flooring. Clean installation of furnace and water heater. Masonry work looks good. Appliances are above average. Closing was seamless Suggestions to make it better. Use screws for Sheetrock instead of nails to eliminate nail pops. Don’t use FLAT paint. Satin would improve the look and cleaning substantially. Do a better job of cleaning prior to someone moving in such as paint splatters and eliminating the Sheetrock dust from the tile floors. Don’t close any of the interior doors after painting….. several had marks where the door had stuck to the jam and then opened, removing some paint. ... More

All folks from Lennar and Osbourne Trails were very helpful and courteous.

Lennar should allow some changes to be made before build is started. The kitchen sink design does not conform to allow basic accessories to be purchased, ie sink grates. Upgraded fridge is not a true upgrade

The above Processes went very well and supportive. Coming from out of state Lennar made it flow well. Thanks!

With all the things going on in my life nothing is easy. I came from a home that a friend built and I loved for 22 years and I had people I could call to fix things but not so here. I have to register my own appliances-there are staples in the carpeting and it is hard adjusting but I will get there. The neighbors are nice and I am taking it day by day.

Lennar houses are worth of the money. However, their system of dealing with customers is horrible. No central / nodal person. Nobody owns the responsibility of dealing with customer. You will be runnig from pillar to post in resolving the issues without proper direction. In nutshell it is a nightmare in dealing with Lennar. But their prices are reasonable.
