I was disappointed in the overall workmanship in this house. At one screw in every hinge was stripped and was told you don't fix that. You can see seems in the crown molding but was told that is a homeowner's problem. All interior doorknobs were loose. Poor paint job.

Leslie the building consultant was the best part of the experience. Everyone else in the company is questionable.

I am not much satisfied with the purchase of the house because I was out third buyer but I got the high price compared to now.

The purchasing experience was great. While the house was under construction though was not so good. We had a couple issues arise that were not addressed properly and then we were ran around in circles trying to figure out what was going on. Then the week before closing we did a walk through and it was a mess. Things were not finished and needed a little more work. This should have been a finished product but was not. They said it would be finished before closing but was far from finish at closing. By far out of the 3 houses we had built this was the worst process we have been through. Total lack of care or ability to complete their job. Now after we closed they have made efforts to get things done that we were told would be done. It would have been nice had someone told us before we bought here that 85% of the development were investors. Would have looked somewhere else for sure.

They screwed up one of the key features in our home, offered a small discount instead of fixing their mistake. Lennar was supposed to contact us throughout the process to be apart of different phases. Never happened. Several things were half completed when we moved in or not even installed. Won’t be recommending to anyone I know.

I have too much repairs left in my new home and I reported so many times but no one responds

Workmanship was poor at best. House closed on December 15th Did not really take possession until January 18th

Issue started from Day 1 after closing and response from Leenar is unimaginable, till date its not yet closed. Very bad build quality, lot of issue construction with electrical material quality

Lots of touchup are pending,,, floor , drywall, door polish…

We are experienced home builders - house #5 I have never feeling so disconnected from the build - for first time home owners that f do not know better would be a good experience. Subcontractors cut corners example you touch the wall and paint is do thin it marks

The house is nice. Seems to be built well but Lennar falls short on the last mile. I did my best to clear up expectations up front during the sales cycle. This included HVAC and a few smaller items like the front door. I was told everything was taken care of. However, that was a joke. I am working with the Vice President of Customer Experience and let's just say I have to repeatedly ask him for the correct expectations outside of what he thinks is correct. If it was a lack of training, that would be acceptable. However, I was provided with over 10 different points of view on the HVAC system and had to ask for the exact wording in the contract between Lennar and their sub-contractor. Sadly, I was told many times "this is what you signed" which was a lie. My recommendation: Realize they are bullies and they have no respect for you after they have your money. Do not expect them to honor their word, as their word is what is used against you. Become an educated buyer, setup expectations on paper and ask for details even if they say they don't have them. ... Our house is just ok. Everyday we find something that is awful with it. Meaning the trim, the doors, the paint. The trades don't care, and when they speak very little english you feel bad telling them that it still looks awful when they come back in to "try" and fix it. They always have to call the boss and see if they can or can't do more work. But then it ends up looking just as bad as it was at the start. The trim work is horrible and the doors all look awful as well on the bottom.

Lack of communication, poor craftsmanship but asking for repair of poor craftsmanship leads to even poorer craftsmanship with no concern of Lennar

Overall, we felt the quality of the home was not worth the investment. Many areas of poor workmanship, walls not true to scale, flooring not put in correctly, concrete not put in correctly, many small things just not handled correct for 400K home. we believe more attention to detail could have been done, the home was not cleaned when we moved in, floors were dirty, garage dirty.

It would go a long way if the process after closing was better explained, not clear at all. Punch list is a joke, because it isn’t done prior to close and then you have to chase to get them done. Love the floor plan and the neighborhood, Lennar not so much! Very disappointing process all the way around.

If I could put zero stars for Responsive to issues, I would. My actual home buying experience with the salesman was excellent. His name is Mitch. Great guy and he was always there to answer questions. If he did not know an answer, he would find it for me by the next day. There were many issues to be addressed with the home before closing. The “construction builder” and the “main warranty” man assured me that I should close on time and that they would be here for me to fix the numerous outstanding items. I trusted them. So I closed. The quality of workmanship in my home is subpar, at best. Every day I find new things that were not completed correctly. I followed the steps that Lennar outlined for me by putting in “warranty requests” on all outstanding items. My list just grows and nothing gets fixed or resolved. There is no interest or timely communication in addressing all of the things that were incomplete or broke before I closed on my home. Lennar has one man who they entrust to “fix” all issues except electrical. They will not honor the Lennar warranty properly by sending out qualified “trades” to address the issues. Each one requires a different job specialty, but Lennar will not spend the money to make things right. I always wanted a “Lennar Home”. Cheap material used to build the home Rude and non professional staff ( at the building site)

Dealing with the sales person was difficult. She told us the house will have a few things and then on closing they were asking more money for the things that should be included. They did not allow us to move the data points around the house and did not allow us to add more data points in rooms where it was needed. We found the process difficult and not to our full satisfaction. We are planning on getting extra work completed after closing. If you plan on getting a Lennar home make sure you are in touch with the project manager to be sure the process is going according to plan. Sub work was poor for painting and finishing. Our saving grace was Alan. He cleaned up the issues for us. Lennar title was difficult to work with. Would go with a back on the loan.

Great house terrible customer service. Tammy wouldn't talk to us regarding our closing cost. Dishwasher had to be replaced, the fridge hasn't worked for a month and the microwave had to have the fan replaced. I battle geese leaving waste on my driveway and yard. This is a huge health hazard. Like I said love the house but now have to live in conditions that I didn't ask for and not getting help with. There were 75 geese that were counted in my yard over the last weekend. Please help me enjoy my new house. My neighbor has an infant that she has to stroll through ALOT of droppings just to take her child for a walk. ... More

We built a Spencer in 2022. Was disappointed that there weren't more options for a seniors living in next gen suite. After moving in, we had several issues. The first 8 weeks we had contractors in fixing something. Thankfully the warranty request process is easy and Lennar responds quickly. Overall really disappointed with tge overall craftsmanship of a nearly $500k home. I would not recommend building with Lennar.

My experience has not been the best from the beginning. The telephone tree kind of communication with the site manager and sales person in not getting the message right. I can go into details about how hard it was to talk to Chandra. Then the mortgage officer rarely listen to us and the constant missed opportunities of communicating on what was needed and not needed. The back and forward was confusing. Then I lost my VA opportunity in buying this home. That was just the beginning part of my his. Please call to find out more

Our sales person, Dylan was fantastic. We liked him and he was (and still is) very responsive to any questions or concerns. If I were rating just him alone I would say we had a very good experience. Lennar is a large builder and by all accounts should have their building process down now like a well oiled machine. They are, however, building these homes way too fast without a real attention to detail. Also, when issues are noted they are not addressing them while the work is being completed. It appears that they are just letting the issues slide in hopes that the new homeowner will not hold them accountable. Prior to moving in we had a walkthrough that should have only taken about an hour and at 3 1/2 hours I had to rush because of a work meeting. This was also the 2nd walk through of this home, so many of the issues we say were from the prior buyer that had not yet been addressed. They completed most of the repairs, but not all before our closing, and they were not completed with any quality. Instead they just threw some half assed workmanship and called it good. When we moved in you notice just little things that when added all together give you a negative feeling about their building practices. This is obviously all dependent on the Construction Managers and how they hold the subs accountable for the poor workmanship that they are seeing. When I talked with the Construction Manager about a problem we were having with our home I outlined the process that should have been followed to address and issue and his response was "that's not going to happen that way", to which I responded well it should. This is the single reason for the rating I have given. For the money you spend you should not be having any of the issues that we see in our home and many of the other homes around us. Overall I have had very positive interactions with the warranty people, Jesse and Arica. However, I have had way too many interactions already with them as our home was finished in June of 2022. Overall, I would give them a good rating if it was just dependent on them. Not sure that we would buy another home from Lennar without first seeing if they have fixed the issues with poor workmanship. We love the floor plan and the neighborhood.
