We are very happy with our new home. We wished that our HOA was as responsive and involved as the Lennar builders have been. Issues that we have come across have been addressed by Lennar in a timely manner.

Lennar has been very good addressing after sale issues with the home. The home buying process was very smooth.

Sales process was good - thorough, questions answered timely,etc. where I am having difficulty now is that so many of the wonderful features were never explained in the turnover process. I got an email with tutorial videos for some, but not all. To this day my garage door code hasn’t been changed because I can’t find how to change it. I was given no info on Raintech that I recall and I did a fair amount of research in my own to get it operational. Landscaping went in just recently and was done poorly, leaving ruts and swampy areas. I was told they would power wash afterward but I still have muddy spots on my sidewalk. We decided to build after searching all around Indy and other builders. Right from the start you could tell Lennar’s quality of home over others. We loved the 55+ concept! Just starting retirement it’s great to have a new home you don’t have to worry about or a yard to take care of! We can travel whenever the mood strikes us! The sales team sent us weekly updates and pictures of our home being built which was great as we were 3 hours away.

cheap material and appliance used in home. not quick response to issues

Once the buying process was completed - Lennar has not upheld the convenance & restrictions of the neighborhood. They don't hold trades accountable for their lack of performance. And the property management team is lacking. It would help if tasks were completed successfully the first time instead of making promises that issues/concerns will get better.

Everyone involved with the purchase and loan process were available and responsive to questions that I had. They kept me informed with regular updates during construction and were prompt to correct any issues that arose after moving in. I have been particularly pleased with the customer service process and the help the representative has provided.

First, when we requested for an independent inspection, the time scheduled was changed and then work continued before the inspection was done. When non-code items were found, the builder tried to state that they were within code and our inspector had to send them the code for them to change it. Even after this code notice, we have noticed that our neighbors' houses have outside electric covers has not been changed. It almost seem to tell us that unless one complains or point out a problem that only that person's problem will be solved, instead of every house built there after. Also, Lennar's mortgage had promised us that they could secure us a VA loan for us and then later told us there were unable. And by closing on a Saturday, they would not allow us to work with another lender. ... More

Dawn is AMAZING. She has been consistently professional, responsive, understanding, caring, and thorough. I was going through some serious medical issues during the build and closing, and I feel so supported and valued as a homeowner. Thank you, Dawn!!

We can’t imagine that we could have made a better decision than building a Lennar home in Osborne Trails. While they are not flexible on changes, we have a home we are proud of, and have made it our own.

Purchasing our Lennar home was a great experience. From our first visit with Curtis all the way to closing we were kept informed of the progress on our home. JT and his group were responsive once we moved in and fixed any things that needed attention. I would highly recommend building a home with Lennar.

Leslie the building consultant was the best part of the experience. Everyone else in the company is questionable.

Our experience with Lennar has been mostly positive. From the start we liked our salesperson, who was helpful, honest and explained the process along the way and made us feel very comfortable. Then we started working with Lennar Mortgage, and had a very bad experience.. The building process went smoothly and we were very pleased with the home initially, and for the most part we still are. A builder once told us "There are a lot of parts in a house" and we know everything isn't going to work as it should, and warranty issues are going to need to be corrected. Initially that was being done, but with about 15 things....mostly small ticket items...on our warranty list, Lennar has been dragging their feet here lately. As more homes are completed, and our addition is only 1/4 built out, we fear that warranty issues are going to get less and less attention as newer owners have multiple warranty issues. And we're tired of hearing everything blamed on Covid 19....we're coming out of the pandemic and while supply chain issues still exist, they aren't as problematic as they were in 2020. ... More

We had a great experience with Lennar. The entire process was so easy! We bought our house remotely from another state, and it was no big deal. We were able to do all of our meetings over the phone, or the computer. It was overall an easy and wonderful home buying experience. We love our home!

The process started well. At the time of closing, the quality of the home "appeared" to be what we expected. We put a great deal of trust in the builder on delivering a house that was as advertised and a high quality of work. But within the first several days and weeks it became apparent there were a number of "quality" related issues that went beyond aesthetics and were fundamentally wrong. Issues ranging from faulty appliances to poorly designed/engineered duct work to improper placement of fire/smoke alarms. It has been over five months of taking two steps forward and two steps back working with Lennar and various service providers to try to correct the issues, but still to this day we have NO resolution on ANY of the original issues. At this point, we feel like we were sold a bill of goods and no one wants to take ownership or responsibility and correct the issues that should have never been issues to begin with. We have lost confidence in Lennar as a builder and would have a hard time recommending anyone using them unless you had no other choice. Like you see all too often, they talk the talk until the day of closing, and then no one has the time to do the right thing. ... More

The fact that everything is included is what factored into our decision to pick Lennar over any of the other builders. The majority of the nice things you see in the model home is included at no additional costs where other builders nickel and dime you on every little upgrade.

Everyone on the Osborne Trails / Lennar teams were very accommodating and professional.
