We love our new home. It’s gorgeous and spacious just the way we had imagined. Everyone that we have contacted regarding our home concerns or questions were really nice and quickly responded to our needs. I would highly recommend Lennar homes to friends and family. The homes are beautiful and gorgeous. They have a great team who will always go that extra mile to help you.

Fixtures, wall plates, garage doors, doors in general seem to be very cheaply made. A little surprised at that.

We moved in 5 months ago and have been impressed with the Lennar team. They build quality homes and respond to your needs in a prompt manner.

We recently purchased a home with Lennar. We first were not sure about the builder because they were new to the area. Once we did some research and compared to other builders we chose Lennar. We are happy we did! The staff was great to work with and we feel we got a Quality built home in our price range that is built to last! Included options with quality products makes the new home purchase easy! Don’t waste hours and money going through unlimited options offered by other builders that ultimately push you over your budget just to get the basics, just choose Lennar!

The value of Lennar is great. We have had a few issues which have been resolved quickly. The sales team is great. Viet was very helpful and kept us updated throughout the process of our build w pics.

Shortly after our youngest graduated, we were already building our new ranch+full basement just two miles away. I cannot say enough good things about The Lennar sales and construction teams. They were accessible, responsive, knowledgeable and dependable. We really love the house and how well the design fits our lifestyle.

We love the design and style of the house. The layout is great for our family. However, there are a number of quality issues with the completed workmanship. The interior paint has a good amount of flaws, caulking is failing after only a few months, pieces of trim are separating from each other, the drywall finish is not great. I've been in construction for 5 years, so I understand the home is settling and creating some of these issues. That being said, it seems some items, like the paint and drywall, do not have a very professional finish to them.

We built the new “everything’s included” home. Sounded like such a great thing. In order to get and “everything’s included” home, they cheat everywhere they can. Downstairs cabinets have soft close hardware. Get upstairs, not included. Plastic faucet upstairs on an upgraded laundry room. Only one hearing/air vent for the entire kitchen, living room, entryway. Upstairs is so hot and downstairs is freezing. Workmanship is poor. So many thing have had to be fixed already. Carpet is so cheap. This is the 3rd time we have built a home and we have had far less issues with the build with Lennar than any other builder. We are very happy with the quality and value of the home. There have been a few minor issues but things have been resolved relatively quickly. Our salesperson Jenny and Construction Manager Derek were both great to work with.

Quality and easy to work with

They quickly build and move on without a care about quality of craftsmanship and a pain to get to come fix things.

Some of the details of work and/or the final touch up of the job needs more attention. Someone needs to check the work and be sure that it is done correctly.

Lennar prides themselves as a production home builder to a point where their approach to a home is to build as many homes with the minimal quality and maximum profit that they can get away with legally. Where the buyer and/or potential home owner is simply writing the checks - without input and concern. They set closing dates for acceptance and turnover before the work is complete and/or inspected. They leave behind many conditions of Non-Conforming work like dead trees, code violations, grading problems and leaking roofs / insect infiltration to name just a few. There is nothing in their delivery model where they allow disclosure of their home package - inside and outside or where you can provide your expectations for your new home. You take it or you leave it! Buyer beware in any Lennar community if you value quality, partnership at a fair price. I love the floor plan for my home but the customer service after I moved into my home has been horrendous!! I've not seen nor heard from the person who walked me through my home since he asked for a five star rating while delivering 1 star service. They've not followed up to get all the items from the original list nor address the ones I've added since the move. The quality of the flooring and cabinets is not worth the money charged! Most of the workmanship and material are decent quality but not to the standards expected at this price point. The most offensive actions is the decision to change the size and value of the homes in the community. This decision has a great impact on my investment and the overall look of the community. I would not have purchased my home in this neighborhood had I known that this switch was coming. ... More

In general the home seems to be well-built, and Lennar was responsive with issues our inspector found prior to closing. The house seems to be well insulated and reasonably efficient. The garages are deceivingly small and are not very wide or will allow a full-sized truck to be parked inside (too short). The driveways are also very narrow at around 12' wide - several folks have had contractors widen their driveways after purchase. There are minor workmanship issues around the house such as walls that aren't square, trim that isn't square, troweled joints in the sidewalks that aren't square, etc. The base Whirlpool range that comes with homes has a strange grate pattern and pots are not stable when stirring contents inside. The base double ovens seem to work well. The dishwasher had an issue with the gasket but we fixed that ourselves. One of our toilets is leaking at the base, however the rest of the plumbing seems to be OK so far. The quartz counters and subway tile backspalsh in the kitchen is nice, as are the finishes in the master bathroom. ... More

We love the home and the floor plan. They are very good at fixing issue's. The biggest problem is the whole house vibrates. Lennar went cheap on floor joists and braces and the slightest movements cause vibration, shaking and vibrating. We can feel the washing machine on spin cycle anywhere in the house, including the garage. Wish they would've braised the house better to deter vibration and shaking.

Lennar seems to be everywhere around here. That being said, there are many positives to purchasing a Lennar home: attractive designs, functional and attractive interior spaces, many inclusions that are extra with other builders, nicely landscaped communities, helpful ( for the most part) staff. On the whole, Lennar homes are a good value for the price. We are happy with our new home. The down side to purchasing with such a large company is you won’t get personal attention when something goes wrong, and there are limited opportunities to customize.

For the price. The workmanship should have been perfect but small things like bowed walls and trim seams not lining up.

The colors on the spec sheet are not what is actually in house. We tried to go get more paint and more mulch to match and it what we bought, per the spec sheet, is NOT what was actually used. The exterior and interior was visible dirty when we moved in to the brand new home. The toilet still doesn't work right and we had a service call out within hours of closing on the new home.

We love our floor plan and neighbors, but are really disappointed with the quality and expectations that Lennar has of its subcontractors. Apparently our standards are too high for a production builder.

The overall experience was far from a positive one. Our front door was hung backwards. SEVERAL doors were not level and wouldn't close correctly / lock. The electrician they selected to do our home was HORRIBLE. He made too many mistakes. SEVERAL light switches were installed in the wrong places. Smoke detectors and light fixtures falling from the walls / ceilings. DOZENS of nail pops on day of move-in, yet we were told to wait for more to pop-up before having them repaired. Roof installed incorrectly. Bath drain not sealed resulted in water leaking through the ceiling. Wrong shower installed and refused to correct it. Outside window frame busted upon move-in. Drywalled over the attic access. Busted cabinets found during move-in. Cracks / holes in walls. There were so many things wrong during our pre-closing walkthrough. It seemed as though they rushed to the finish line and the GC didn't oversee the project well enough. Perhaps too many homes being built all at once? We spent our first three months in our home dealing with "warranty repairs" and still had to do a great deal of work ourselves to fix what was done wrong. We're putting a lot of work into making this the home we should've received as a new build. The term "turn key ready" does not describe Lennar. ... More
