I purchased a model home. I had a fast close (Lennar wanted closing on 8/31). When I moved in, I didn't have a driveway and my front landscape was a mess and unfinished. They needed to fix a drain on my curb which delayed the driveway to not be complete until the end of September and it is now the middle of October and I need sod in my front yard and finishing touches around the driveway. I have also had issues getting my Ring home security system set up- it was already installed for the model home, but still having difficulty with it. Had a great experience while buying home with Lennar. All the communication was very proactive and able to resolve all my queries very quickly and always helped me to understand more clearly

Overall we had a great experience with Lennar. We were kept informed of the progress being made throughout the build.

(by a lot) They just take care of business with no excuses. We are very pleased. If I were Lennar I would pay them whatever they wanted. incredible team!

When it came to quality, it seems as though some things were cheap. Some of the cabinet doors close poorly, and I don’t have the same water pressure at all the faucets. If I walk barefoot through carpet, I can feel the carpet nail strips on my toes. We have had many frustrations with the “professional” installers from AC vents being broken to screens not fitting and also, the inspector not catching the fact that our drier vent wasn’t installed but somehow was up to code. BUT, although my frustrations with this occurred, I could not verbally explain how great DAVE (builder) was, he went above and beyond to hear us and respond quickly with EVERY NEED. Angie in Carver helped me and she was the best sales rep I had come across—I met 2 others. She was empathetic, was interested in my business and just an all around joy to work with. She is 90% the reason why I purchased the home.

Miller Brothers and BNR both do half-crocked work. Miller Brothers break fiber optic cables and home owners are left to get the problem fixed. . They don’t care what they break and Lennar doesn’t help with getting the cable repaired. BNR puts sprinkler heads in our yard that belong to our neighbors and also puts the heads right on the property line. Told the construction manager we were putting up a fence on the property line so they knew not to put the sprinkler heads on the property line, but did it anyway. Construction managers are unresponsive to community members complaints. Overall, the landscaping has been a cruddy experience. Told in June the landscaping was going to start, didn’t go in until August. Perhaps Lennar need to rethink who they contract out for grading yards as well as the irrigation systems. Very incompetent people. North Metro was the best, but they, too, added sod where we had it flagged off. Lennar needs to do better. Seems that once Lennar has their money, they don’t care about the home owners. I would rate the construction managers, Miller Brothers and BNR a 1 for very poor communication and workmanship. ... Don’t use Lennar, ton of problems and anytime you raise an issue you’re gas lighted by a dude saying it isn’t an issue

The cosmetic issues were half fixed prior to closing. After living in the house you see so many more things that need to be fixed. When putting in a work order I was told to wait for the 11 month review. I am not convienced that things will be taken care of timely.

Lennar made this experience an amazing one, from working with the agent to securing the mortgage to the orientation to the move in and beyond! I couldn't be happier in my new home!

It was a fairly easy experience to buy a new home from Lennar. The whole process was great and very pleasant. After you buy they have not responded to issues, I had to resort to calling the installers to fix issues like flooding in the yard. In addition, I entered multiple service requests and have not received any communications from Lennar.

There are always some items which are less than perfect that arise with a new build. Lennar fixed everything we identified during the walkthrough. The only major complaint I have is that the toilets are garbage. We’ve had an issue with all four of them and we’ve only lived here for 6 weeks. Already paid $900 for a plumber to install a new one and he indicated the plumbing vents may be capped which could cause issues with the pressure and reduce the effectiveness of each flush. Lennar’s plumber said that couldn’t be the cause and that was the end of it. Everything I’ve found online indicates that could indeed be the issue but no one was willing to come check it out. ... Great experience all the way through.

We love our home. However, the buying experience was a bit to be desired. The marketing materials when buying our home mentioned several smart devices that come with the homes. When we asked why ours didn’t, we were told they recently stopped providing them. However, all of our neighbors on our block received them. This makes it hard to know what to believe and put a bad taste in our mouth when moving in. These types of things should be communicated much better to avoid false expectations. Communication on remaining exterior work was also non existent and made it hard to anticipate. Overal, it was a 3/5 star experience. We have a beautiful townhome but the little details could use some work. paint splatters, doors that don't completely close, appliances not leveled, carpet tack strips that stab your feet because they weren't flattened. Took over a month to get internet installed to my house. These things are all fixable and Lennar says they will be fixed. I'm waiting to see. Just thought I would see the quality right away, not have to wait until things get fixed.

It's a great home. I love everything about it. I have been disappointed with the amount of service requests I have had to put in - this is a new build, I would have thought these minor details would have been taken care of.

Melanie was amazing to work with to help chose out the options for our house. With her experience, she guides us with our questions to make sure we chose the right options for our dream house. Jason was great to work with during the construction phase. When we had a question or concern, he quickly was able to answer and help us. We love our dream house and we love our build experience with Melanie and Jason!

Amenities are very nice but at this price I would have expected ceiling fans and more cabinets for storage.

The purchasing experience of my townhouse was fine. The quality of my townhouse is not good. Very sketchy. I have submitted SO many tickets for service to correct issues that it’s becoming a weekly habit and a part time job. This is not what I signed up for. I’ve become the general contractor to repair so many things that it totally diminishes the quality of product Lennar sells. My realtor warned me about Lennar and I should have listened. Now here I sit with a defective house that needs so much work and the smallest thing, like mowing the lawn doesn’t even get done! I’m disgusted and wish I would not have purchased a Lennar home! ... Everything from purchasing the house and moving in has been great. I am very frustrated over the planning and execution of getting a driveway landscape irrigation and sod. It is very frustrating watching people that moved in a month after us get all of that stuff done while we are still sitting with a dirt yard. It has been planned twice and it has been moved twice and we were told that it was going to happen minus any inclement weather, but 85 and sunny does not seem like inclement weather to me.

My wife and I found it very easy to work with Lennar. The employees at Lennar were knowledge, very helpful, and were quick to response to questions or any issues. We would highly recommend Lennar to any friends, family or anyone looking for a new home.
